KERR, Harry William 77, passed away, November 2, 2001 in Zephyrhills. Survived by two daughters, Barbara J. Dusold of Houston, Texas and Diane Kerr of Zephyrhills; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 7, 2001 at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church. Interment will be 11:30 a.m. at Florida National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Kerr was born May 17, 1924 in Jefferson, Pennsylvania and came to Zephyrhills in 1985 from Pennsylvania . He was a member of the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, the Zephyrhills Elks Club, the Shriners and the CBl.

ALLISON, Dorothy N., 93, of Sun City Center, passed away October 31, 2001 at her residence. She is survived by a daughter, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She had moved to the area 20 years ago from Illinois.

BARNETT, George A. 62 of Kathleen, Fla. passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2001 at the Henando/Pasco Hospice House in Dade City. George is survived by his loving wife, Elouise; a son, Jonathon of Perry, Fla.; sister, Shirley Whatley of McKee, Miss.; brother Robert Barnett of Eagle, Mich. and one grandson, Jonathon as well as several nieces. George was a native of Dodsville, Miss. and came to th e Kathleen area 35 years ago from Ellisville, Miss. He had been a long time over the road truck driver having spent many years with Mayflower Van Lines and Zephyr Egg Company. He retired after numerous years as manager of the Lakeland Farmers Market. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in the Dade City Chapel of Oakley Funeral with Chaplain Al Kolades officiating. Interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens in Dade City. Friends are welcomed to call at the funeral home on Tuesday (today) from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

COADY, Marie G., 97 of Tampa, Fla. passed away Sunday, November 4, 2001. She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Leo D., Sr. and daughter Felice C. Moran. She is survived by a son, Leo D., Jr. and his wife Marie Rose of Tampa, Fla.; three daughters, Carolyn C. Lea of Berwyn, Pa., Mary Luz C. Baldwin and her husband Henry Clay of West Chester, Pa. and Antonia C. Quinn of Bradenton, Fla.; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A native of Isla Del Carmen, Carmen City, Mexico she lived in the area since 1971 coming from Philadelphia, Pa. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. A funeral mass will be celebrated by Fr. John Blum Thursday, 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Marsicano-B. Marion Reed-Stowers Funeral Home. A vigil service with One Decade will be held at 6:30 p.m.

DEGROFF, Nhan Thi `Cathy`, 64, died Sunday, November 4, 2001. Survivors include her husband, Albert; daughter, Linda Degroff; son, Kenneth Degroff; two sisters; and brothers. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

EHLERT, William `Bill`, 59, of Tampa, passed away November 1, 2001. Survivors include his beloved wife of 38 years, Roseann Ehlert; son, Michael Ehlert; brother, Nelson Calzon and wife Shirley; several nieces and nephews; and dear friends, Wayne and Diana Witt. Mr. Ehlert was a Computer Systems Analyst with Custom M.F.G. and Engineering. He was a Valedictorian graduate of Jefferson High School Class of 1960. He graduated from U.S.F. with high honors. He was a Boy Scout #240 Troop Leader, a member of Suncoast Linux User's Group, Public Access Cable Station, where he was awarded the 12th annual Golden Video Award. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. at the chapel of Gonzalez Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1101 N. He is preceded in death by two sons, William Mark and Michael Wilmer Etzler; and survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Dolores Jean; one daughter, Melanie Ann and her husband John M. Rockwell of Valrico, Fla.; a sister, Jacqueline Kelley of Cement City, Mich.; three grandchildren, James Christopher Graham, Danie lle Nichole and Olivia Lauren Etzler. A native of Ferndale, Mich. he lived in the Tampa area since 1945. He was a business owner with Suncoast Resort Properties for 20 years and a General Contractor, building homes in the area since the 1960's, a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict and a member of the Bayshore Baptist Church. Graveside service will be held Wednesday, 1:00 p.m. at Garden of Memories Cemetery.

GANN, Effie Mae Pennington, 82, of Tampa passed away November 2, 2001, at home while under the care of LifePath Hospice. Her husband, James of 52 years in 1991 preceded Mrs. Gann in death. She is survived by her son, Richard L. Gann and wife Carol of Atlanta, Ga.; daughter, Charlene Mack of Tampa; three brothers, Tom Pennington of Mo., Berthall Pennington of Ill. and Glenn Pennington of Mo.; t hree sisters, Edith Webb of Colo., Lucille McPheeters of Mo., and Mary Etta Gladden of Mo.; grandchildren, Rebecca and Michael Gann of Atlanta, Ga., Lauri Przybylski of Tampa and David Mack of Snow Camp, N.C.; and two great-grand- children, Emily and James Przybylski. A native of Flatwoods, Mo. She came to Tampa in 1953 from St. Louis where she met and married James in 1938. Memberships include th e Order of the Eastern Star and West Hillsborough Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 2:00 p.m. at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home with the family receiving friends at 1:00 p.m. Mae was a caring, joyful and humorous person and will be deeply missed by all the lives that she touched. GARGANO, Roseann Crisantemi, of Tampa, passed away Wednesday October 31, 2001 at home surrounded by family and friends. She is survived by husband, Salvatore Gargano of Thonotosassa and daughter, Christina Gargano of Tampa. She is the daughter of Christine Crisantemi Daly and step-daughter of James Daly. She was predeceased by father, Fortunato Crisantemi. She also is survived by brother, Richard Crisantemi of Tennessee.

GARLAND, Emory Malcome, Jr., 18 of Lutz passed away October 31, 2001 in Tampa. He is survived by his parents, Emory and Glada Garland; two sisters Nina J. Garland and Tammy Humes; a brother, Gene Szeremi; paternal grandparents Betty and Desmond Gibbons of Tampa; maternal grandparents, Wallace and Waunita Haynes of Ohio; uncles Don, William, Chester, Robert and Thomas Garland; aunts, Lori and Karen Garland and Deanne Miracle; uncles Wallace, Wally, Tim Haynes; aunts Janet, Kimberly and their son Tyler Haynes; and cousins, Joey, Billy Jr., Nick, Chet Jr., Betty Joe, Kathy and Adam `who was like a brother to him.` His nieces and nephews, Keisha, Jessy, Clarence, Blenda Lalone, Bailey, Sara Jean Westbrook and Vicky. Emory attended school, was baptized and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Land O ' Lakes, 18116 School Road Land O'Lakes, Fla. where memorial services will be held on November 10, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. Flowers will be accepted at the church and donations may be mailed to his parents at P.O. GIBBS, Timothy J., 48, died Friday, November 2, 2001. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Nancy; his two daughters, Jamie Gibbs and Kelly Gibbs; his son, Larry Wiezycki, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Kim Wiezycki; grandson, Adam Wiezycki; two brothers, Franklin (Punky) Gibbs and Tom Gibbs; three sisters, Bonnie Gibbs, Betty Jo Gibbs and Jody Brooks, all of Tampa; his aunt and uncle, Dorothy and Jos eph Gaspie and eight cousins, all of Wisconsin. A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, November 7, 2001 at the Garden of Memories Mausoleum. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. HAYDIS, Mrs. Janice, 71, of Temple Terrace, Fla., born in Savannah, Ga. on December 25, 1929, died Wednesday, October 31, 2001. She was preceded in death by her son, Saxton Robert Gaskin, III. Janice was the loving wife of Samuel Haydis for the past 34 years. Her survivors also include her children, Cathei Maynard of Tampa, Fla., Jim and Abbey Knox of Temple Terrace, Fla., and Linda Haydis of W arner Robins, Ga.; her sister, Shirley; seven grandchildren, Erin, Billy, Jessica, Typhanei, Nancy, Mattie, and Samuel; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Janice was proud to be a Charter Class Member of the University of South Florida, graduating in 1963. She went on to receive her Master of Arts Degree from Livingston University. Janice retired from Hillsborough County Bo ard of Public Instructions in 1994 after teaching at Greco Junior High School for 31 years. Janice had the privilege of being one of the first teachers when Greco Junior High opened. Services for Janice Haydis will be conducted Tuesday, November 6, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. at the C.E. Prevatt Funeral Home, 9750 N. 56th Street, Temple Terrace, Fla.
