HOWELL, Ladene Locke, 67, of Riverview passed away Saturday, November 3, 2001 surrounded by her loving family. Born to Mildred and Stanley Locke of Linden, Fla., she had resided in the Tampa area for the past 48 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, William Howell. Ladene is survived by daughters, Deeda DeLillo and husband, Mark and Stacy Burke and husband, Mike; brother, Walton T. Locke, Webster, Fla.; sisters, Warneta Farmer, Tarrytown, Fla. and Sandra Register, Ocala; grandchildren, Krista and Lindsay Burke, Jessica DeLillo and Matthew Williams and wife, Danee'; great-grandson, Cole Williams and sister-in-law, Elizabeth Howell. The family wishes to thank all of Ladene's many, many special friends who loved and cared for her over so many years and especially dur ing the past year. Special thanks to LifePath Hospice (Green Team) for their care, compassion and comfort. The family will receive friends this evening (Tuesday) from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, 6919 Providence Rd. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with interment following at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla. at 12:30 p.m. Flowers will be appreciated or contributions, in memory of Ladene, may be made to LifePath Hospice, 3010 W. He was born on May 28th, 1999 and is survived by his mother, Rebeca; his father, Christopher and his sisters, Jacqueline and Heather. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2001 at the Mark III Funeral Home, 7701 W. Hillsborough Ave., at 1:00 p.m. The family will be receiving friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. KEGLEY, Patrick D., 64, of Tampa, died Sunday, November 4, 2001 at his residence under the care of LifePath Hospice Tampa. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Frances Kegley of Tampa; sons Robert Dale Beattie and Paterick D. Kegley II, both of Tampa; daughters, Donna Lynn Jaime and Kimberly F. Mejia, both of Tampa;brother, Thomas F. Kegley of Charlston, S.C.;sisters Patricia Bryant of Durha m, N.C. and Margaret A. Stickle of Orlando, Fla. and six grandchildren. Mr. Kegley was born in Irton, Pa. and came to this area 42 years ago from Russell, Ky. He served his country in the US Air Force and worked as a self-employed carpenter. He also spent most of his life as a volunteer for the Camimiti Exceptional Center and also received the Eddy Award from Hillsborough County School System. He also was a volunteer at the Shriners Hospital.

KIRK, M. Jeanne, 80 of Brandon, Fla. passed away Sunday, November 4, 2001. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Harold; one son, Ross Kirk and his wife Ann of Brandon, Fla.; two daughters, Ellen M. and her husband James Duffin of Denville, N.J. and Phyllis L. and her husband Vern Western of Peachtree City, Ga.; seven grandchildren. A native of Bryan, Ohio and a 32 year resident o f Lake Intervale, N.J. she lived in the Brandon area since 1988. She was a homemaker, a member of the First United Methodist Church of Brandon, United Methodist Women and participated in the Meals on Wheels program. Services will be conducted at Stowers Funeral Home on Wednesday, 4:00 p.m. The family is requesting that those who wish may make contributions to the First United Methodist Church of Brandon, 120 N. Knights Avenue, Brandon, FL 33510 in her memory.

MARTIN, Logan T Jr., of Bartow, Fla., passed away Friday, November 2, 2001 in Bartow. He is survived by three sons, David Martin of Shady Oaks, Kim Martin of Homeland and Keith Martin of Bartow; brother, T.V. Martin of Brandon; two sisters, Ruby Jordan of Clearwater and Betty Peace of Lakeland; six grand- children; and four great-grand- children. He was a native of Mulberry and had moved to Bartow 30 years ago from Mulberry. He was a Millright for Local #1000, Tampa. Funeral services were held Monday, November 5, 2001.

McLAIN, Luther L., 77 of Hernando, Fla. passed away on November 02, 2001. Survivors include his wife Shirley; son, Lynn McLain and his wife Melody; daughter, Cheryl Wildasin and her husband Bob; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mr. McLain was a World War II Veteran and a member of Community Lodge #292 F. & A. M. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Forest Hills United Methodist Church, 904 West Linebaugh Ave., Tampa FL 33612, in his memory. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday November 7, 2001, at the Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Puig and wife, Jill; dear friend, Mary Baxendale; mother, Rosa Maria Puig; grandchildren, Richard G. Puig, II, Evan A., Madison C. and Molly D. A native and lifelong resident o f Tampa, Mr. Puig was a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers, board member of the Tampa Letter Carriers, Inc., board member of the Tampa Postal District Federal Credit Union, Director of Retirees NALC Branch #599, a U.S. Army Veteran and a Catholic. SANCHEZ, Claudine, 76, of Tampa passed away Thursday, November 1, 2001. She is survived by her daughters, Belinda Capaz and husband Charles Lee of Wesley Chapel; Yvonne Gonzalez and husband Vincent of Clair-Mel City; her grandchildren, Nick `Butch` Capaz of Phoenix, Ariz. and Justin Capaz of Tampa; her brothers, James Brown of Tampa and Paul Ron Brown of Albuquerque, N.M.; her sister, Juanita W right of Tampa and her friend and former husband, Angelo Sanchez of Tampa. Born in Colquitt, Ga., she has lived in Tampa since the age of fifteen. Prior to retirement, she worked at Egypt Lake Elementary as a lunchroom aide. She resided at CTA apartments where she was a member of the CTA Apartment Association. She had attended Van Dyke United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends at th e funeral home Tuesday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel.
