Survived by sons and their wives, Paul and Vanessa Plummer and Troy and Susie Plummer; daughter and her husband, Diana and Peter Flanagan and grandchildren, Todd, Chaz, Cherie and Joshua Plummer, Angela Kosan, and Kaleen Flanagan. He was born in Brooklyn N.Y. and moved to Tampa in 1945. He was Past Master of J.F Swartsel Lodge No. 251, F.& A.M., member of the Scottish Rite, Egypt Temple Shrine and a retired Tampa Electric Employee and Navy Korean veteran. Masonic graveside services will be afforded by Swartsel Lodge at 10:00 a.m. Friday November 9, 2001 at the Garden of Memories. Visitation will be from 7:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. Thursday, November 8, 2001 at Swilley Funeral Home, 1602 W. Waters Ave.

PUIG, Herbert, Jr., `Herbie`, age 73, of Tampa passed away November 4, 2001. Survivors include wife, Dora Puig; sons, Rick G. Puig and wife, Sheree, and Kenneth A. Puig and wife, Jill; dear friend, Mary Baxendale; mother, Rosa Maria Puig; grandchildren, Richard G. Puig, II, Evan A., Madison C. and Molly D. Puig; brother, Jerry Puig; and stepsister, Sharon Stone. A native and lifelong resident o f Tampa, Mr. Puig was a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers, board member of the Tampa Letter Carriers, Inc., board member of the Tampa Postal District Federal Credit Union, Director of Retirees NALC Branch #599, a U.S. Army Veteran and a Catholic. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday morning at 11 o'clock from the chapel of Gonzalez Funeral Hone with interment to follow in Garden of Memories. Pallbearers include Rick G. and Kenneth A. Puig, Richard G. Puig, II, Jerry Puig, Fernando Quintanilla and Jack Newman. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the chapel of GONZALEZ FUNERAL HOME

SALCICCIOLI, Clorinda `Clo`, 63, of Tampa passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2001. She is survived by her sister, Mary Ann Scaglione of Tampa; nephews and their wives, Tony and Cindy Scaglione, Pat and Sara Scaglione; great niece, Lauren Scaglione and great nephew, Louis Scaglione. She has resided in the Tampa area since 1949 coming from her native, Niagara Falls, N.Y. She was a beautician, a mem ber of Unita Lodge No. 2015 Order Sons of Italy in America, a member of Christ The King Catholic Church and a member of O.W.L.S at church. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Marsicano-B. Marion Reed-Stowers Funeral Home, 4040 Henderson Blvd., Interment to follow at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 til 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with a Sons of Italy Ritual at 6:00 p.m. and a Vigil Service at 6:30 p.m.

SIMMONS, Minnie Lou, 71, of Tampa, passed away November 6, 2001. She is survived by her daughters, Susan LeDoux and her husband, Michael, Mary Billingsley and her husband, Keith, and Deborah Miller; grandchildren, Stacy Stevens, Daniel Wainright, Angela Billingsley, Jeanmarie LeDoux, Matthew Billingsley, and Kory LeDoux; great-grandchildren, Justin, Amanda, Khrystyne, Cole, and Savannah; three brothers; one sister; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 9, 2001, 2:00 p.m. at the Garden of Memories Chapel. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

SIMPSON, Lyle, 92, of Zephyrhills, died November 5. 2001 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Center, Dade City, Fla. He is survived by his wife, Catherine; four sons, Dean of Zephyrhills, Terry C. of Keysville, Fla., Don of Germany and Bob of Burgettstown, Pa.; a daughter, Cathy J. Johnson of Denver, Colo.; a step-son, Joe Matula of Houston, Texas ; a brother, Alvin of Arizona; ten grandchildren and two great- grandchildren. He was born in Rea, Pa.; and moved to the area four years ago from Tampa. He was a truck driver, a member of St. Marks Lutheran Church of Butler, Pa., a member of the Showman Club, the Moose Lodge. of Butler, Pa., and the teamsters union. A graveside service will be conducted by Reverend George Chestnut on Wednesday (today) at 10:00 a.m. at the Sunset Memory Gardens Mausoleum, Thonotosassa, Fla.

SMITH, Esther Irene, age 86, of Kenner, La., formerly of Tampa passed away Monday, November 5, 2001 at her residence. She is survived by her son, Jimmie Lee Smith of Kenner, La.; her daughter, Annie Letha Stevens of Marion, Miss.; her brother, Ethan Smith of Andalusia, Ala.; her sisters, Ermia Courghan of Utica, Miss., Dorothy Young of Tampa, and Vida Gainer of Tampa; six grandchildren, nine gr eat- grandchildren, and one great- great-grandchild. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6-9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park.

SOBY, Raymond N., 88, of Plant city, died November 4, 2001. He is survived by his beloved wife, Signe L.; his daughters, Lois M. Bahlow (Jerry Boehm) and Linda S. Sharples (Jerry); his brother, Robert W. (Sylvia); his grandchildren, Randy Bahlow (Jenna), Marsha Keller (Chris) and Kerrie Welsh (Justin); great-grandchildren, Carter and Harrison Bahlow. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 7 at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 303 N. Evers St., Plant City. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First United Methodist Church of Plant City.

SPOTO, Mary Ann, age 69, of Brooksville died Tuesday, November 6, 2001. Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Barbara Spoto of Vidalia, Ga.; her aunt, Millie Ficcarotta of Palm Harbor and nephews, Eric and Craig Spoto. Ms. Spoto was born in Tampa and resided in Brooksville for the past 25 years. She was a surgical technologist, had worked at Tampa General Hospital and was of the Catholic faith. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 10:00 a.m. at Blount, Curry & Roel Funeral Homes, Armenia Chapel, 4730 N. Armenia Avenue, Tampa. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery mausoleum. The family will receive friends this evening from 7:00-9:00 p.m. with recitation of the Catholic `Wake Rite` at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to the Pasco/ Hernando Hospice.

TRUETT, Gertrude L., 81, of Tampa passed away November 4, 2001. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Truett. She is survived by her three daughters, Loretta Loftin of Tampa, Trudy Leeds of Lutz, and Carol Bell of Tampa; one brother, Rick Donohue of Philadelphia, Pa.; two sisters, Anna Mae Donovan and Eleanor Neibauer, both of Croydon, Pa.; six grandchildren and seven great-gra ndchildren. A Memorial Mass will be offered on Friday, November 9, 2001, 9:00 a.m. at St. Timothy's Catholic Church (Ragg Road, behind Gaither High School). TRUJILLO, Angel Edward, age 60, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2001 walking back from church. He was preceded in death by his eldest son, Anthony; and is survived by his sons, Ramon David and Mark; his daughters, Laura Jeneane and Kristina; his sister, Gloria Caruso; brother-in-law, Sam Caruso; two nephews, and his four grandchildren. Mr. Trujillo was born in Havana, Cuba, and graduated high s chool in 1959 from Jefferson High School in Tampa. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force and graduated with a degree in political science from the University of Kentucky. He was a marketing entrepreneur with a love for all humanity. Venable all of Brooksville; parents: Jimmy Sr. and Barbara Langford both of Cleveland, TN; brother: Jimmy Langford Jr. of Jacksonville; sister: Pamela Spell of Lutz; maternal grandmother: Viola Staten of Avon Park. Visitation for friends will be 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 7, 2001 at the West Brooksville Church of God, 1240 West Jefferson St., Brooksville. Dowless, Riverview, Fla.; brother, C. Blair Mills, Hampton, Va.; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Laura is a life time resident of Peninsula, Va., seasonal resident of Riverview, F la. and she was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. WELLS, Annie Golden `Nana` of Tampa passed away November 4, 2001. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Hugh Wells and her sister, Irma Gale. She is survived by daughters and husbands, Lorraine and Herman Winegeart of Tampa and Judy and Robert Johnson of Odessa; three grandsons and wives, Tom and Lynn Johnson of New Port Richey, Terry and Debbie Johnson of Tampa and Tim and Vivi an Johnson of Odessa; granddaughter and husband, Traci and Billy Townsend of Tampa; seven great-grandchildren, Tarin, Bobby, Meghan, Kayla, and Alden Johnson, and Daniel and Savannah Townsend. Mrs. Wells was born and raised in Tampa. She was a homemaker and a member of Idlewild Baptist church, and also a member of the Faith Sunday School Class. Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday at the Cha pel of Adams & Jennings Funeral Home with interment to follow at Myrtle Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and close friends, Russ Guthrie and Jose Martinez. WILLOWS, Jr. James `Phil` 44, of Tampa, passed away November 3, 2001. Survivors include his mother, Barbara Willows of Tampa; daughter, Beatrice Willows of Tampa; three sisters, Lisa Bird of Valrico, Pam Fisher of Apollo Beach and Kim Willows of Huntington Beach, Calif.; three nephews and one niece. A native of Tulsa, Okla., he came to Tampa in 1965 from San Angelo, Texas . Mr. Willows was a Baptist and a carpenter.
