JORGENSEN, Jean F., 76, of Zephyrhills died November 5, 2001, at East Pasco Medical Center. She is survived by husband, Edward; two sons, Robert of South Hadley, Mass., and Richard of Boise, Idaho; a daughter, Barbara White of Tacoma, Wash.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was born in Philadelphia, Pa. A memorial service will be held at the Southern Charm RV Park Clubhouse at 9:00 a.m., Thursday, November 6, 2001.

RUTKEY, Stephen, 86, of New Port Richey, died November 5, 2001. He is survived by two sons; one brother; one sister; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. DOBIES F.H.

BLACK, Melvin W., 84, of Zephyrhills, died Tuesday, November 6, 2001 in Zephyrhills. He is survived by his wife, IvaDell Black of Zephyrhills; son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Leta Black of St. Clair Shores, Mich.; three daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Bruce Milton of Holt, Mich., Sue and Bill Hamilton of West Branch, Mich. and Linda and Jim Marvel of Winter Haven; three step-sons and d aughters-in- law, Donald R. and Janice MacLean of Sterling, Va., Douglas and Jeanne MacLean of Chanassen, Minn. and Dale and Kay MacLean of Fenton, Mich.; brother and sister-in- law, Calvin and Eva Black of Akron, Ohio; sister, Alfreda Steelman of Davison, Mich.; 18 grandchildren and six great- grandchildren. He was born November 21, 1916 in Whittemore, Mich. He made Zephyrhills his permanent resi dence in 1996 after being a winter resident for several years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the O.E.S. in West Branch, Mich. Funeral Services were held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 8, 2001 at the Oakley Funeral Home in Dade City. Burial will take place in West Branch, Mich.

JOHNSON, Mamie Lee, 85, of Lacoochee, died Sunday, November 4, 2001. She is survived by two sons; two brothers; four sisters and four grandchildren. Community Funeral Service, Brooksville.

BACON, Celia DeLaney, 93, of Durant, passed away November 8, 2001. She is predeceased by her first husband, Rev. Dewey DeLaney. Survivors include her husband, Eddie Bacon; two step-sons, Ray and Ronnie, Sr.; one step-grandchild Ronnie, Jr.; one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Her occupations were comprised of Sunday School teacher, song leader, organist, pianist, accordion play er, homemaker, and many others. She was a member of Forest Park Church of God and the Ladies Auxiliary. Although, she was never a parturient, her motherhood was innumerable and her mark will be etched in our hearts forever. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 10, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. from Hopewell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday (tonight) from 7:00-9:00 p.m.

CLAY, Nelda M., 90, of Sun City Center, passed away October 28, 2001, at her residence. She was born in Washington . D.C. and is survived by her loving pets, Tasha and Baby. She is preceded in death by her husband, Capt. William Clay. She was a government liaison working in Washington , D.C. and assisted with the coordination of Indian affairs. She portrayed Annie Oakley in a 1930's motion pictur e and in the 1940's, she and her husband opened one of the first Disabled Veteran shops. They also invented the glass Tiki Bird. She moved to St. Petersburg in the 1950's and was active in the American Red Cross and the Apollo Beach Power Squadron. Arrangements were under the direction of National Cremation Society.

COX, Jacob Saul, 74, died November 6, 2001 in Sun City Center, Fla. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Loraine; sons, Michael Cox and wife, Vicki and Mark Cox and wife, Patricia; daughter, Deborah Chandler and husband David; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Born in Tampa, Fla., he was a Deacon for 34 years at the 1st Baptist Church of Riverview and President of the Corporation, a mechanic at American Can for 32 years, and a United States Army Veteran. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the staff and administration of Hospice House of Sun City Center. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to LifePath Hospice or H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Ctr. Visitation will be November 10, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. with services to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Hillsboro Memorial FH

Survivors include five children, Ray Erickson, Elizabeth Erickson, Arnold Erickson, Robert Erickson and Mary Hodge; eleven grandchildren, Michael Filion, Stacey Eisenhart, Tina Erickson, Sarah Erickson, Ray Erickson, II, Emmett Erickson, Annissa Erickson Ussery, Matt Hodge, Dan Hodge, Donald Erickson and Erica Erickson; great-grandchil dren, Alexis Eisenhart, Olivia Eisenhart, Summer Rollison, Jonathan Erickson, Jessica Erickson, Jesse Erickson, Zachary Erickson, Leanna Erickson and Kyle Erickson. She is a member of the Manhattan Baptist Church. A memorial service will be at 11:30 a.m., Friday, November 9, 2001 at the church. Beloved Mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. GILFORD, John Timothy, 45, of Seffner passed away November 7, 2001 after a long illness with Multiple Sclerosis at Delta Nursing Center under the loving care of LifePath Hospice nurses. He is survived by a daughter, Sarah; mother, Ruby; and brother, David. There will be a private burial.

HARRINGTON, Blair Elizabeth , age 20, of Tampa, passed away November 5, 2001. Survivors include her parents, Patrick and Jennifer Harrington; maternal grand- father, John Lombino and paternal grandparents, Joseph and Noreen Harrington. A native of Tacoma, Washington , Blair was raised in Scottsdale, Arizona and was resident of Tampa for the past seven months. She was a student at Arizona State U niversity and was a volunteer and actively involved in the Hyde Park Counseling Center and touched the lives of many. A Memorial service will be held Sunday morning at 10:15 a.m. at Harmony Metaphysical Church, 2517 W. Henry Ave.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Kathryn Hauft; three daughters, Linda Hauft of Savannah Ga., Joanne Jennings and husband, Walter of Venice, Fla. and Kathryn Smith of Tampa, as well as exchange student daughter, Marta Pfaffenberger, M.D. of Miami, Fla. He is also survived by two brothers, Arthur of St. Petersburg and Neil of La Quinta, Calif.; a sister, Ouida Gershman of Phoenix, Ariz.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Originally from Long Island, N.Y., where he was a practicing attorney for over forty years, he had been a resident of Sun City Center since 1994. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Sunday, November 11, 2001 at Beth Israel, The Jewish Congregation of Sun City Center, 1115 Del Webb Blvd East, Sun City Center, Fla. with Rabbi Robert Goodman officiating. HESTER, Audrey Lee, 52 of Ft. Pierce, passed away April 29, 2001. Her father, Peter HESTER, passed away May 28, 2001. Both are survived by mother and wife, Annie Francies Hester; uncle and brother, Napoleon Hester; and six aunts, Maggie Sims, Mamie Bell Young, Janie Gaskins, Clara Young, Angeline Cromartie and Susie Burney. HOLT, Ernest W. , 54, of Tampa passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Marlene; two sons, Paul A. of Fort Stewart, Ga. and Robert of Tampa; two brothers, Paul J. and Joel; two sisters, Catherine Comeau and Jackie King and half-brother, Louis Kimball, all of New Hampshire. He was born in Plymouth, N.H. and moved to Tampa in 1971. Mr. Holt was a contractor and worked in highway and bridge construction. He served his country during the Vietnam Conflict in the U.S. Army. Memberships include Belmont Baptist Church. A memorial service will be held Sunday, November 11, at 3:00 p.m. at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at 2:00 p.m.

PORTER, Philip Barton, 79, of Tampa passed away on November 5, 2001 at St. Joseph's Hospital. Survivors include his wife, Linda; a son, Philip B. Porter, II of Tallahassee; a brother, Robert Porter; two sisters, Maggie Carpenter and Agnes Bolcher, all of Virginia and four grandchildren. He was a USAF Veteran serving in World War II and Korea and retired as a Lt. Colonel. He was a member of the DAV and TROA. Interment will take place at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. SIERRA JIMINEZ, John Jairo, age 39, of Tampa, passed away November 3, 2001. Born in Medellin, Colombia, he is survived by his mother, Mariela Jimenez and father, Fabio A. Sierra; brothers, Freddy A. and Edgar M. Sierra; sisters, Sandra, Monica, and Ingrid Sierra. `Te queremos mucho. WALTERSON, Joel `Peg Leg`, 67, of Lake Wales, died November 8, 2001. He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Walterson in October 2001 and his son Gary Walterson in 1980. He is survived by his sons, Michael W. Walterson of Temple Terrace and David L. Walterson of Lake Wales; brothers, Don Walterson and Mark Baker, both of Tampa; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Born in 1933 in Tampa, he moved to Lake Wales in 1982. He was a retired iron worker and of the Baptist faith. He was Korean War veteran, a member of the Kissimmee River Airboat Association and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 10, 2001 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Chaplain Davis Ramsey officiating. Cremation is scheduled. Those who wish, may make memorial donations to Good Shephard Hospice.

WISE, Ernestine 77, Tampa, died November 7, 2001. She was predeceased by her husband, Lee and grand- daughter, Stacy. Survived by daughter and husband, Neta and Arn Schmiel; grandson and wife, Paul and Robbin Schmiel; granddaughter, Tammy Schmiel; also grandchildren, Debbie, Donna, Diana and Ronnie. She was born in Coryell Co., Texas . She worked for R.A.G.A. until August this year, and was a me mber of Hillsdale Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday November 9, at the church, with her pastor, the Rev. Travis Smith officiating. Visitation will be from 12:15 p.m. till service time at the church. Interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Murrel Driggers, Roy Martinez, Ken Neads, Charlie Rodgers, Arnold and Paul Schmiel.
