SPIELMAN, Mary M., 89, of Williamsport, Md., formerly of Big Pool, and Tampa, died November 14, 2001. Born September 2, 1912, in Miamisburg, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late John C. Myers and Bertha M. Heberly Myers. Her husband, Newton B. Spielman, died in 1998. She was a homemaker; member of Mount Tabor Lutheran Church in Clear Spring; and former member of Dry Run Homemakers Club. She i s survived by two daughters, Dorothy S. Sanborn of Hagerstown and Mary Jane Spickler of Clear Spring; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Richard N. Spielman and Robert N. Spielman; and two grandsons.

SUITER, Mary C., 76, of Brandon passed away November 30, 2001. She is survived by her daughters, Lawanda Suiter and Jeanelle Clark; two grandchildren and one great-grandson.

WALKO, Olga Goldie, 91, of Clearwater, died November 30, 2001. Survived by daughter, Nancy Pace; brother, Richard Orzinger; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

YANEZ, Elena (Helen), age 93 of Tampa, passed away November 29, 2001 at Southerland Place. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, America Casanueva. She is survived by her brother, Casimiro Yanez Jr. and his wife Rosemary; brother-in-law, Richard Casanueva; three nieces, Maria Relue, Sharon Bihorel, Denise Garcia; three nephews, Robert, Terry, and James Yanez; 12 great nieces an d nephews and four great-great nieces and nephews. She was Catholic and a beautician all her working life. A graveside service will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers include Robert, Terry, and James Yanez, Richard W. and Richard A. Relue, and Donald Hahn. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Elena Yanez may be made to LifePath Hospice, 3010 W. Azeele St., Tampa, FL 33609. BARFIELD, Ida Ruth, 81, of Tampa passed away on Friday, November 30, 2001 at Tampa General Hospital. She is survived by her loving husband John D., a daughter Nelda Barfield; a son John D. Barfield, Jr and his wife Chris; grandchildren Kristy, Kelly and Kevin Barfield all of Tampa as well as nephews Albert and Guy Thompson and niece Sara Ann Thompson all of Montgomery, Ala. Funeral services wil l be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the Mark III Funeral Home South Tampa Chapel with Dr. Preston Bailey of Manhattan Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery. Friends may visit at the Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

BAYLOUS, Lawson, 82 of Plant City, Fla., passed away November 30, 2001. Survivors include his wife, Nellie; son, Doug Baylous of Columbia, Mo.; daughter, Brenda Chitty of Plant City, Fla.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A native of Chatham, Va., he came to Plant City from Big Stone Gap, Va. in the late 1950's. Mr. Baylous was a Baptist and served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army and later retired from Mobil Oil Corp. BROWN, Evelyn `Sue`, 51 of Tampa left us on November 30, 2001. A native of Tampa, she is survived by her sister, Karen Williams of Tampa; Kathy Shuck; daughter, Victoria Jimmerson; four grandchildren; and four nieces. A celebration of her life will be held Sunday Dec. 2, 2001 at 1 p.m. in her home located at 4510 W. Knox Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Life Path Hospice of Hillsborough.

BURKHARD, Marilee E., 67, of Balm passed away on Friday, November 30, 2001. A native of Tampa, she had worked at Singleton Seafood and was Baptist. The family wishes to thank the Yellow Team of LifePath Hospice. She is survived by her brothers, Frank L. Burkhard, Jr., Tampa and Roy D. Burkhard, Tarpon Springs, Fla.; Sisters, Lola Bartlett, Balm and Dottie Sadler, Tampa; Aunt, Sue Kemp, Tampa an d several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the chapel of Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, 6919 Providence Rd. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:30 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. COX, Jean A., 81, of Tampa, passed away November 29, 2001. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Hoyt E. Cox, Jr.; and is survived by her daughter, Susan Goldblatt and her husband Joe and their children, Jodi and Jennifer; sons, Hoyt E. Cox, III and his wife Nancy and their children Nicole and George, Jeffrey P. Cox and his wife Hether and their child Morgan; great-grand child, Grace. She was Presbyterian by faith and was an English Major at Westminster College, a member of the Beta Sigma Phi, Dana Shores Women's Club, ABWA. For 20 years she was employed as an office manager for Dr. Giovinco. Graveside services will be held on Monday, December 3, 2001 at 11:30 a.m. at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. EUBANK, Marguerite A., 87, of Brandon, passed away November 29, 2001. She is survived by her son, Sam E. Eubank of Brandon; granddaughter, Jeanelle Routh of Brandon; grandson, Sam Johnson of Dallas; and two great-grandchildren, Morgan and Myles Routh. Ms. Eubank was a member of Northgate Baptist Church and a former member and president of the American Business Women Association. Graveside services will be held on Monday, December 3, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday at the Garden of Memories Chapel, 4207 E. Lake Ave., one hour prior to service.

FARNSWORTH, Loretta C., 83, of Tampa, Florida passed away November 30, 2001. Mrs. Farnsworth was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Charles Farnsworth. She is survived by her son, Harold Charles Farnsworth, Jr. of Starke, Fla.; daughters, Carol Shepherd, Webster Farnsworth and Sylvia Diehl, all of Tampa; grandchildren, Allison Profitt, John Shepherd, Harold Charles `Chad` Farnsworth III, Adam Farnsworth, Cara Diehl and Aaron Farnsworth. She moved to Tampa from Kankakee, Ill as a teenager and was a graduate of Hillsborough High School. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She devoted many hours of service to her family, her community, and her church. She was a member and supporter of St. Mary's Episcopal Church since its inception. In lieu of flowers, the f amily request donations be made to St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 4311 W. San Miguel St., Tampa, Fla 33629 or LifePath Hospice, 3010 W. Azeele St., Tampa, Fla 33609. GENTRY, Geraldine Marie, 67, passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2001 at home under the care of LifePath Hospice. A Tampa native, Mrs. Gentry was a member of Incarnation Catholic Church and a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy, Class of 1951. She had the most admirable faith in God and trust in his loving care. She was an avid painist with an ear for music, loved reading and flowers, especially orchids. A homemaker, she was predeceased by her husband of 18 years, Everett Eugene. Survivors include sons, Steven F. and Patrick E.; daughter, Rynell L.; grandchildren, Steven, Christopher, Joenell, Austin, Kaitlin, Patrick, Everett; and loving companion Buddy. GRANDE, Delbert R., of Tampa, passed away Friday, November 30, 2001. Survivors include his sons: Ray and Wayne Grande; daughter Mary Horne, sisters: Jackie Southall and Anna Scheele; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mr. Grande was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa and was a US Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. HIGGINS, Mary E., 50, of Odessa, passed away November 30, 2001 at home. Mrs. Higgins was born in Alexandria, Va., and moved to Hillsborough County from Chicago, Ill. in 1986. She was a senior corpsmen for the US Navy during the Vietnam era, and one of the first neuro psychiatric technicians in the Navy. She was a member of Keystone United Methodist Church, Odessa, where she served as church lib rarian, the Odessa American Legion post 147, and a charter member of the Women's Memorial Fund. Survivors include her husband, George Higgins; her mother, Cordelia Reams of Tampa; her father and step-mother, Oscar and Sylvia Reams of Greensville, Fla.; a son, Jason Snyder of Odessa; an adoptive sister, Karla Williams R.N.B.S.N. of Wichita, Kan.; a niece, Dasha M. Nichols of Valley Ctr., Kan.; and her loving kitties, Snowy and Pantera. Visitation will be held Monday, Dec. 3 from 6-8 p.m. at Trinity Memorial Funeral Home, SR 54, New Port Richey. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 4 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

KERBEIN, Arthur `Art`, 81, of Tampa passed away in Brandon on Friday, November 30, 2001. He is survived by his loving family.

KINCAID, William F. `Bill`, age 80, born January 14, 1921 in Huntington, West Virginia, died Fri. Nov. 30, 2001 at his Tampa home. He graduated from the University of West Virginia with a B.S. Degree in Engineering. Bill served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in WWII and was honorably discharged as a First Lieutenant in 1946. After the War he moved to Florida and founded Kincaid Brick in South Tampa in 1948, where it still operates today. He met, fell in love and married Margie DeWald on Nov. 29, 1956. Bill was a member of the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce, American Legion Post #139 and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. Among Bill's many great accomplishments, he was most revered for his decades of commitment and support of the Republican Party. As an early supporter of Ronal d Reagan in 1968, through the years Bill's hard work established the GOP in Hillsborough County and was instrumental in the success the party enjoys today locally, in Tallahassee and Washington , D.C. Since the early 1980's Bill has served as County Chairman, State Committeeman and on several Republican Campaigns that have been fought and won for over 20 years. The local Republican Headquarters is still housed at Kincaid Brick where one of the largest American flags in the City of Tampa flies every day. Bill's example will be followed by many for years to come through the example of his successful quest by providing Hillsborough County residents leadership with integrity, common sense and conservative solutions. He will be greatly missed. Bill is survived by his wife of 45 years, Margie Kin caid, nephew and niece, Robert and Betty Stackler, of Cincinnati, Ohio, sister-in-law, Nellie Kincaid, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL., nephew, Jimmy Kincaid, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL., nephew, John Kincaid, of Tampa, nephew, David Kincaid, of Jacksonville, sister-in-law, Alma DeWald, of Tampa, nephew, Richard Hemrich, of St. George, Utah, nephew, Walter DeWald, of Chicago, IL., niece and nephew, David and El aine DeWald, of Honolulu, HI., and nephew and niece, Richard and Raejean Hemrich. A memorial service honoring Bill Kincaid, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6th at Palma Ceia United Methodist Church, corner of South Dale Mabry Hwy. and Bay to Bay Blvd. Dr. R. Earle Rabb will officiate. A reception in the Church's Social Hall will follow the service. McKEON, Scott Tyson, born June 12, 1941 in Grand Rapids, Mich., died November 22, 2001 in Tampa. Survived by wife, Deanna McKeon, Ruskin; brother, Robert McKeon and sister-in-law, Margo, Phoenix; children, Sean and Jenna of Safety Harbor; step-daughters, Shari, Ellen and Stacey and eight grandchildren. He was a gifted man, as both a magician for over 40 years, and as a musician. He touched the lives of many along his journey. We love you and miss you. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 8, 2001 at 1:30 p.m. at Wellswood Baptist Church, 5101 N. Rome Ave., Tampa.

NUNEZ, Javel `Jay`, age 73, of California passed away November 5, 2001 in California. Mr. Nunez was born in Tampa where he resided for 20 years before becoming a permanent resident of California. He was a graduate of Jefferson High School where he played football, was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and worked as an engineer for NASA until his retirement. Mr. Nunez was a dedicated Jehovah's Witness. Survivors include his wife, Lorraine; daughters, Janice Van Ettan, Joyce Bradley and Judy Stone; sister, Griselda Nunez and five grandchildren. Funeral services were held in Pine Grove, Calif. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association.
