BUCHANAN, Keith C., age 55, of Tampa, passed away December 9, 2001. He was a loving father and a devoted husband for 35 years. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; son, Keith Carlton Buchanan, Jr., MD and wife, Patricia of Atlanta, Ga.,; and daughter, Elizabeth Buchanan McCarthy and husband, Joseph of Orlando, Fla. He is also survived by his brothers, Clelle Buchanan of Marietta, S.C., Richard Buchanan wife, Mary Ann of Greenville, S.C. and Marvin Buchanan and wife, Tommie Ann of Six Mile, S.C. He was also `Grandpa` to Allie and Emily Buchanan. Please make donations to a charity of your choice or Faith Children's Home, 11415 Hope Inter- national Dr., Tampa, FL, 33625 in memory of Mr. Buchanan. CLARK, Tommy Joe, 70, of Temple Terrace, Fla., went to be with the Lord on Dec. 9, 2001. A Korean War veteran, a NAWCC officer, and a member of the University Church of Christ for 33 years; he is survived by his faithful and devoted wife, Sandra; three daughters; three sons; 20 grandchildren; two brothers; four sisters; many nieces and nephews, and innumerable friends. A Memorial Service will be held at Hutchinson Auditorium on Wednesday, Dec. 12 at 2 p.m., on the campus of Florida College in Temple Terrace, where he was a loved and valued employee for 33 years.

COWGER, William R., 75, of Ruskin, passed away December 7, 2001. A native of Marietta, Oklahoma, Mr. Cowger moved to the area in 1991 from Aurora, Ill. He was a retired credit manager for the Henry Pratt Co. He had served as a Sergeant in the Special Operations Division of the Hillsborough Co. Sheriffs Dept., having graduated from their academy at the age of 72. He was of the Lutheran faith an d had served in the U.S. Marine Corps, and had served as President of the Woodland Estates Homeowners Associ- ation. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; three sons, Christ- opher of Joliet, Ill., Kurt and his wife, Sue of Channohon, Ill. and Kohl and his wife, Kim of Joliet; three daughters, Karen of Finger, Tenn., Charlyn of Joliet, and Cheryl Haney and her husband, Dave of Joliet; a sister, Ali ce Rogers of Sallasaw, Okla.; and seven grandchildren. A visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Lewers Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at Lewers Funeral Home. DENDLE, Ramona Rose McCullough, died Friday December 7, 2001 at the home of her son, Earl H. Dendle Jr., after a long and courageous struggle with Alzheimer's Disease. Mrs. Dendle was born in Laurens County, Georgia, January 18, 1924 and was raised for the most part in Macon, Ga. Mrs. Dendle was an active member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church, Macon, for more than 20 years, where she was a de voted church nursery worker. After moving to Tampa, Fla. in the early 1960's, Mrs. Dendle continued her worship and service to her faith at the Palma Ceia Baptist Church. Mrs. Dendle was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Earl H. Dendle, Sr., who died December 5, 1999, and is survived by four children, Mrs. Nancy York of Warner Robins, Ga., Mrs. Bonny Riner of Lizella, Ga., Mrs Sandie M enmuir of Grass Valley, Calif., and Mr. Earl H. Dendle, Jr. of Tucker, Ga. Mrs. Dendle is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service celebrating her life and her devotion to God and mankind will be held at The Tabernacle Baptist Church, 914 2nd Street, Macon, Ga., on Friday, Decmeber 14, at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donation be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association, Greater Georgia Chapter, 1925 Century Blvd., NE, Suite 10, Atlanta, GA, 30345-3315. DIAZ, III, Luis `Lou` ,age 44, of Tampa, passed away December 8, 2001 after a courageous battle with sickness. He is survived by his parents, Helene and Luis Diaz; brothers, Michael and Erick and also an incredible array of wonderful friends from all walks of life and from all over the country. Within those caring friends, our special thanks goes to John Zaykowski for his devotion in helping Lo u in his hours of need. Lou was a distinguished employee of Hewlett Packard Corp. Working with them, he achieved the opportunity of getting to know the USA very well. He was also a seasoned world traveler. He visited on business and pleasure, all of the Far East, Europe, Russia, Egypt and many Middle Eastern Countries, Australia, South America, and many other Nations all contributing to his knowle dge and education. ELLIS, Rosemary (Murphy), 65, of Tampa passed away on November 16, 2001 at her residence. She is survived by her sister Sarah Chadam of Pittsburgh, Pa. and several nieces and nephews. She was pre- deceased by her parents, Dennis A Murphy and Rose O'Keefe Murphy and her brother, Robert M. Murphy. Born in Adams Mass., she was formerly of K Street, Turners Falls, graduated from Turners Falls High School and Quinsigamond Community College with honors in Worcester, Mass. She attended Indiana University School of Business, Bloomington, Ind. She was selected for Who's Who in American Junior Colleges and was appointed by the Mayor and chaired the Commission on Status of Women in Bloomington, Ind. She was an accountant with Title XX in Bloomington until moving to Tampa in 1980. She was employed as an accountant with Hillsborough Community College until she became disabled with Rheumatoid Arthritis. Undaunted she championed the cause of accessibility for everyone and had established a foundation for building `Rosemary's Barrier Free Country Inn.` A memorial service will be held to celebrate Rosemary on Saturday, December 15, 2001 at 12:00 noon at Tampa Unity Church, 3302 W. Horatio St. Mu sic and singing will be encouraged. A light lunch will follow for friends. A special memorial mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church 821 S. FARRAR, Ileene E., of Tampa, died December 10, 2001, at a local hospital. She was preceded in death by her son, Bernard; grandson, Kevin; and two great-granddaughters. She is survived by four sons, Beryl, Brucelee, Berkley and Buddy; six grandchildren, Anisa Balestreri, Catherine Wood, Troy, Tina, Eric, and Megan Farrar; and six great-grand- children. She was a member of the Tampa Bay Baptist C hurch. GARRETT, Grover M., age 62, of Plant City, Florida, passed away on Friday, December 7, 2001. Mr. Garrett was a truck driver and attended Shiloh Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Anna Garrett; three sons, Dale Garrett, Danny Garrett and his wife, Kim, and Dwayne Garrett, all of Plant City; two daughters, Darlene Swindle and Diana Rosenweig of Plant City; three step-sons, Tim Gavin of B randon, Scott Hall of Brandon, and Michael Gavin of Charlotte, N.C.; two brothers, Norman Garrett and his wife, Dolly of Plant City and Welsey Garrett of Plant City; three sisters, Edna Crawford of Plant City, Margaret Dasher and her husband, Dan of Glenville, Ga. and Irma Gibson of Plant City; and 16 grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 12, 2001 from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. Services will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Wells Memorial Chapel with Rev. Joe Bowles officiating. Interment will be at Oaklawn Cemetery.

HUMBLE, Pauline A. (Simmons), 77, of Tampa, went home to Our Lord on Sunday, December 9, 2001. Born in Detroit, Michigan, she was a resident of Tampa most of her life. She was on Augustinian Volunteer, Lay Carmelite, and member of Corpus Christi Church in Temple Terrace. Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Martinez; brother, James Simmons and his wife, Millie; grandson, Joseph Martinez; fi ve nephews and four nieces. Donations to LifePath Hospice, Gold Team in Tampa for the love and care given to Pauline and her family in the final weeks preceding her death would be appreciated. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 12, 2001 11:00 a.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church with interment to follow at Myrtle Hill Cemetery. KARAFAS, Scott W., of Tampa, died Dec. 6, 2001. He is survived by mother, Sherry Karafas; brother, Ricky Karafas; and sister, Dinese Karafas all of Tampa.

KINGREA, Kulin, Master Sergeant, Retired, 70, of Tampa passed away December 7, 2001. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Nancy; and daughters, Cheryl Kingrea Toenjes of Omaha, Neb., and Vicki Boyle of Tampa. Other survivors include his sisters, Laverne Elkins and Lorraine Powell and their families. A Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, December 13, at the funeral home chapel. KNIGHT, Willie Faye, 64, of Riverview, passed away December 9, 2001. She was a Baptist and a dedicated employee of U Save for 30 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, James Stanley Knight; sons, Barry Knight, Brad Knight and John Knight; daughter, Denise Yates; sisters, Mary Smith and Sylvia Carter; 10 grandchildren, Jonathan, Jeremy, Beth, Jennifer, Katherine, Stacy, Jeffre y, Cameron, Jason and Justin; and one great-grandchild, Taylor. She was a loving wife, mother and Nema to her family and will be missed by all who knew her. Special thanks to the Hospice Green team. She is survived by her six sons, Elbert of Kanapolis, N.C., Allen of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Ray of Belleview, Fla., Phillip of Port Charlotte, Fla., Ted of Tampa, Fla., and Gordon of Charlotte, N.C.; four daughters, Wanda Stone of Conco rd, N.C., Mae Schneider of Sacramento, Calif., Sarah Cruz of Tampa, Fla., and Suzanne Harden of Lake City, Fla.; brother, Turner Clark of Brandon, Fla.; four sisters, Kate Burnett of Balm, Fla., Daisy Lane, Pauline Folsom and Josephine Hanna all of Tampa, Fla.; 49 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren. A native of Talokas, Ga., she has resided in the Tampa area since 1939 coming from Moultrie, Ga. She was a homemaker, an avid bowler and also loved to work in her garden. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Stowers Brandon Chapel. Interment to follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. OLIVA, Estela `Meca`, age 88, a native and lifelong resident of Tampa, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family at her home on Dec. 7, 2001. She was a devoted spouse and companion to her late husband, Angel Oliva, Sr. for 64 years. Beloved, she was a super mom, grandmom, and great-grandmom to two sons, six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She also served as mother to a number of nieces and nephews that lived with her for intervals ranging from six months to nine years. A totally selfless person, Meca opened her home to countless Cuban refugees. She found schools for their children and dedicated herself to helping them adjust to their new home. She was a profoundly loved and generous person. A strong supporter of Villa Madonna School, The Children's Home, The Boys and Girls Clubs, Mary Help of Christians, Villa la Paz, and The University of Tampa. We will miss her. She is survived by two sons, Angel Oliva, Jr. and wife Francey, and John E. Oliva and wife Lydia; six grandchildren, Islee S. Oliva of London, England, Tania T. Oliva of Dallas, Texas , John E. Oliva, Jr. and wife Suzanne, Mark A. Oliva and wife Heidi, Michael B. Oliva, Angel Oliva, III `Trey` and wif e Kelly; five great-grandchildren, Angelina, Alexandra, Lily, Carolina, and Ava Oliva; numerous nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends throughout the world. From `Nena` Gil in Venezuela to Cynthia Phillipson and Mary Diaz in California to Robert Diaz in Safety Harbor. The family wishes to express a special `thank you` to her very dedicated caregivers, Maria Georgaros, Marcia Quiroz, Anna Rodrigue z, Omyra de la Cruz, Zulma Vega, Gloria Jimenez, Rosa Romero, Georgina Benitez, Vanessa Corrigan, Mari Oquendo, Geneva Iriarte, Iris Diaz.
