REYNOLDS, Lou Myrta, 82, of Thonotosassa passed away Sunday, December 9, 2001. She is survived by her three daughters, Sylvia Everhart of Brandon, Fla., Louise Anders of Dover, Fla. and Ruth Vetkos of Albany, Ore.; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She has resided in the Tampa area since 1938 coming from her native, Whiteville, N.C. She was a homemaker and a member of West Thonotosassa Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the West Thonotosassa Baptist Church. The family will receive friends this evening (Tuesday) from 6:00 til 8:00 p.m. at the Stowers Brandon Chapel. Those who wish may make contributions to the church's Building Fund in her memory.

RICHARDS, Alton A., 85, of Tampa, died December 9, 2001. He was a lifelong Baptist, a deacon and a longtime member of Idlewild Baptist Church. He was a retired refrigerator mechanic. Mr. Richards is survived by Faith Richards, his wife of 59 years; one son, James Richards of Jacksonville; one daughter, Madonna Roberts of Birmingham, Ala.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Visitat ion will be Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, both at the Carrollwood Chapel. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Idlewild Baptist Church Building Fund.

RODGERS, Howard E., 88, of Land O'Lakes passed away Saturday, Dec. 8, 2001. He was preceded in death by his wife Georgia D. Rodgers and daughter, Peggy Joyce Harding; two sons, James R. Rodgers and William Rodgers; one sister, Maxine Palmer; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter and many loving close friends. A native of Tampa, Mr. Rodgers was a retired F ire Chief with the City of Tampa, an avid fisherman, guitar player and singer with South Sea Islanders and played baseball with the American Legion Baseball League. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Billy J. Dickerson of the First Baptist Church of Mango officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the funeral home. SANDERS, Sallie `Dottie`, 82, of Nashville, Tenn., passed away December 8, 2001. Preceded in death by her husband, Erby Sanders, she is survived by daughter, Fay Green of Tampa; brothers and sisters, Bert Bearden of Symrna, Tenn., Martin Bearden of Lebanon, Tenn., Martha Boone of Nashville, Tenn., Edith Smith of Petersburg, Tenn.; and two grandchildren, Kim Green and Scott Green, both of Tampa. She was a retired employee for 37 years at Dixie Electrotype and attended Riverside Drive Church of Christ. Remains rest at the funeral home of Phillips- Robinson Co., 2707 Gallatin Rd, Nashville, Tenn., where the family will receive friends Tuesday from 3-7 p.m. and where funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Dec- ember 12, 2001 at 11:00 a.m., with Bro. Robert Jackson and Bro. Wilson Adams officiating. Interment will be at Hermitage Memorial Gardens, Tenn. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers. SMITH, Thomas, age 50, passed away Dec. 9, 2001. A resident of Tampa for fourteen years, Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Michelle; daughter, Dawn Smith; son, Thomas Smith; two brothers, William Smith and wife Jane, Gary Smith and wife Linda; two sisters, Barbara and husband Vincent McQueary, and Carol and husband Thomas Marriott; and several nieces and nephews. No services will be held.

DENDLE, Ramona Rose McCullough, died Friday December 7, 2001 at the home of her son, Earl H. Dendle Jr., after a long and courageous struggle with Alzheimer's Disease. Mrs. Dendle was born in Laurens County, Georgia, January 18, 1924 and was raised for the most part in Macon, Ga. Mrs. Dendle was an active member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church, Macon, for more than 20 years, where she was a de voted church nursery worker. After moving to Tampa, Fla. in the early 1960's, Mrs. Dendle continued her worship and service to her faith at the Palma Ceia Baptist Church. Mrs. Dendle was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Earl H. Dendle, Sr., who died December 5, 1999, and is survived by four children, Mrs. Nancy York of Warner Robins, Ga., Mrs. Bonny Riner of Lizella, Ga., Mrs Sandie M enmuir of Grass Valley, Calif., and Mr. Earl H. Dendle, Jr. of Tucker, Ga. Mrs. Dendle is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service celebrating her life and her devotion to God and mankind will be held at The Tabernacle Baptist Church, 914 2nd Street, Macon, Ga., on Friday, Decmeber 14, at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donation be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association, Greater Georgia Chapter, 1925 Century Blvd., NE, Suite 10, Atlanta, GA, 30345-3315.
