FITZGIBBONS, Stephanie S., 66, of Sun City Center, passed away December 10, 2001 after a long and courageous struggle with Alzheimer's disease. She was born in Cape May, New Jersey in 1935. She was a devoted wife of 42 years to Jerry and is also survived by her brother, Robert and his wife; a nephew and niece and their families all of New Jersey, as well as many friends from all over the countr y. She graduated in 1955 from Centenary College, from The American University in Washington , D.C. in 1957 and from Katherine Gibbs School in New York City in 1958. For nearly 30 years she was an executive secretary for the Fort Worth National Bank in Texas from where she moved in 1988. Prior to her retirement she was also active in her sorority, Alpha Chi Omega and served as president of the Texas Chapter of AXO alumni. Her ashes will be interred in Cape May, New Jersey.

Before moving to Tampa, he was a reporter for the Orlando Sentinel and an executive with GMAC Financial. He was a broadcast executive, an inventor, a real estate developer, financial investor, and Internet Website creator during his years in business in Tampa. He was preceded in death by a son, Richard C. Hilton, Jr., 63, who died in an automobile accident in Atlanta in April.
