FITZGIBBONS, Stephanie S., 66, of Sun City Center, passed away December 10, 2001 after a long and courageous struggle with Alzheimer's disease. She was born in Cape May, New Jersey in 1935. She was a devoted wife of 42 years to Jerry and is also survived by her brother, Robert and his wife; a nephew and niece and their families all of New Jersey, as well as many friends from all over the countr y. She graduated in 1955 from Centenary College, from The American University in Washington , D.C. in 1957 and from Katherine Gibbs School in New York City in 1958. For nearly 30 years she was an executive secretary for the Fort Worth National Bank in Texas from where she moved in 1988. Prior to her retirement she was also active in her sorority, Alpha Chi Omega and served as president of the Texas Chapter of AXO alumni. Her ashes will be interred in Cape May, New Jersey.

GILLIARD, Francis G., 85, of Tampa, died December 9, 2001 and is survived by a loving family. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2001 at 12:00 noon at the First Assembly of God Church, 2910 Orient Road, E. Tampa, with Brother Max Docusen to officiate. Final interment will be at Bethlehem Cemetery, Plant City, Fla.

GONZALEZ, Emilio 0., age 82, of Tampa, passed away December 10, 2001. A native and lifelong resident of Tampa, Mr. Gonzalez was a retired Musician, a Timekeeper at Tampa Shipyard and a member of Shoresh David Synagogue. Survivors include his beloved wife, Josephina Z. Gonzalez; daughters, Martha Gonzalez and Caridad Oliveros; son, Rey Gil; brothers, Rene and Alberto Gonzalez; sisters, Gladys To rres and Juanita Valido; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Thursday afternoon at 1 o'clock at Sunset Memory Gardens Mausoleum, with Rabbi Steve Wyler officiating. Please omit flowers, and in lieu of, donations may be made to the St. Joseph's Hospital Cancer Institute in memory of Mr. Gonzalez.

HEINZE Sr., Frederick C., 82, died December 7, 2001 at his daughter's home in Crofton, Md. He was preceded in death by his son, Chris and his wife of 57 years, Rachel. He is survived by his daughters, Francis Heinze and Linda Whitmer; brother, Donald Francis Heinze of New York; grandchildren, Stacy and Weston Whitmer of Maryland and many other relatives and friends. Mr. Heinze was born in Bosto n, Mass. He served during World War II in the 493 Group of the 100th Bomb Squadron. He worked for Borden's Dairy for 38 years before retiring. He was a Mason at Dade City Chapter 48 and a Knight Templar of Plant City. The family suggests, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to LifePath Hospice of Tampa. Visitation services are to be held Friday, December 14 from 6-8 p.m. at Blount, Curry & Roel Funeral Homes, 5101 Nebraska Ave., Tampa. Interment Saturday, December 15 at 2 p.m. at Oak Grove Memorial Park, Branford, Fla.

HILTON, Richard C. `R.C.`, 88, a native of Kissimmee and resident of Tampa for more than 50 years, died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2001. He was a registered real estate broker in Florida for 54 years. Before moving to Tampa, he was a reporter for the Orlando Sentinel and an executive with GMAC Financial. He was a broadcast executive, an inventor, a real estate developer, financial investor, and Internet Website creator during his years in business in Tampa. He was preceded in death by a son, Richard C. Hilton, Jr., 63, who died in an automobile accident in Atlanta in April. He is survived by his daughter, June Hilton Sedillos; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.

HOOD, Lucille W., 93, of Tampa, passed away peacefully Dec. 9, 2001. Mrs. Hood was preceded in death by her husband, John P. Hood. She is survived by a daughter, Dolores H. Lamoureux and her husband, William J. Lamoureux of Tampa; sister, Dorothy Simms of Tampa; four grandchildren, John A. Hearing of Tampa, G. Steven Hearing of Cowan, Tenn., Grant A. Hearing of Arden, N.C. and Gregory A. Hearin g of Tampa; and nine great-grandchildren. Mrs. Hood was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church and a 50 year member of The Order of Eastern Star, Mystic Chapter #110. She retired from Hillsborough County School System. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18 at St. John's Episcopal Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to a charity of choice.

JILLSON JR., John Edward (Jack), 75, of Plant City, Fla. and formerly of Merrillville, Ind., passed away December 10, 2001 at South Florida Baptist Hospital with his loving family at his bedside and under the care of LifePath Hospice. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 14, 2001 at the Wells Memorial Funeral Home with Chaplin Chris Christopherson of Hospice to officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday afternoon, December 13, 2001 from 1:00 p.m. till 3:00 p.m. John was a retired truck driver for Welsh Brothers in Hammond, Ind. and he enjoyed fishing, bingo, traveling, reading westerns and spending time with his family. He was a longtime member of the VFW and is preceded in death by a daughter, Joni (J.J.) Otterman in 1981. He is sur vived by his loving wife of 52 years, Alice M. Jillson of Plant City; his children, Janice Zygmunt of Kouts, Indiana ; Jackie Conn of Brandon; John E. Jillson III and his wife, Linda of Tampa; James Jillson of Plant City and Jody Jillson-Depolis and her husband, Tom of Plant City. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Ricky Otterman, Suzie Q. Piazza and her husband, Matt, Jenna Buds McDonald, T racy Filipiak and her husband, Joe, Stacy Jillson, John E Jillson, IV (L.J.), Jillianne Jillson (Jill Bill), Chris DePolis, Stephanie DePolis; and his great-grandchildren, Brooke, Justin, Shaianne, Heather, Dakota, Kai, Joey, Savannah, and a new baby, Kaden Jack; his three sisters; two brothers; and sisters-in-law and brothers-in- law.

She was born in Philadelphia, Pa. and moved from Rumson, N.J. in 1983 to Florida where she owned AAA Communications of Brandon. She previously managed the dental practices of her late husband, Dr. Nathan J. Vaccaro, located in Carteret, Elizabeth, and Bloomfield, N.J. She was Meth odist. Survivors include sons, Nathan J. of Riverview and Joseph J. of Brandon; daughters, Alicia Garrett of Plant City and Dorothy Simeoni of Tarpon Springs; brother, John J. Rae of Warrington, Pa.; four grandchildren, Roger Walker, Amanda Garrett both of Plant City, Benjamin Vaccaro of Riverview and Sophia Simeoni of Tarpon Springs. Services will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. The family will be receiving friends two hours prior to the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to LifePath Hospice.

She is survived by loving daughters, Jessica Lyn, Cristina Lee, and Melissa Ann Buchanan; devoted fiancee, Travis Holton, all of Blountstown, Fla.; mother, LaVerne Faircloth of Zephyrhills; father, Ray C. Carver and step-mother Christine Carver of Darby; step-sister, Tanya Lukuwich of Wesley Chapel; and step-brother, Aarron Schwartz of Ft. Worth, Texas . She was preceded in death by sister, Cheri Lyn Covert. Cathy was a graduate of Pasco High School and Saint Leo University with a BA in Psychology. She was employed by Behavior Management Consultants in Blountstown, Fla., where she was a consultant for the mentally challenged. She loved life and the people around her. SAUCIER, Bernard J., 79, of Zephyrhills, Fla., died Monday, Dec. 10, 2001 in Dade City, Fla. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Cecile Lemire Saucier of Zephyrhills; two daughters, Renee Kollasch of Oak Harbor, Wash. and Ellen Courtois of Bolton, Conn.; two sisters, Carmella Painchaud of Zephyrhills and Jacqueline Lathrop of West Suffield, Conn.; two grandchildren, Lisa and Mark Kollasch; and several nieces and nephews. He was born August 13, 1922 in Wallagrass, Maine, and was a longtime resident of Hartford, Conn., before retiring to Zephyrhills in 1987. He retired from the Girardian Molding Co. in Windsor Locks, Conn. Prior to that he was a truck driver for numerous businesses around the Hartford area. He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, and was an avid golfer with a lifetime membership at the Scotland Yard Golf Course. Memorial Services will be held 11 a.m., Friday (tomorrow) at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Zephyrhills.
