HUBBARD, Yale Raymond Jr., of Sun City Center died Aug. 16, 2002. Mr. Hubbard was a Park Ranger for the State of Florida at the Little Manatee State Park. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Lewers Funeral Home. Surviving are his loving family and friends. He will be missed forever.

KIRBY, Robert `Bob` E., Sr., 63, of Seffner, Fla. passed away Saturday, August 17, 2002. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Karen; five sons, Robert Kirby, Jr., Luther Kirby, David Kirby, Dale Kirby, and Jeff Hall; two daughters, Lynn Griggs and Bonda Hall; a brother, William Kirby; a sister, Tamara Kirby; fourteen grandchildren. He was a lifelong resident of the Tampa Bay area and an Army Veteran.

He is survived by his daughter, Angela Foltz; father, Harold, Sr.; two brothers, Daniel McKnight and his family Lourdes, Katrina, Rachel and Daniel; and James McKnight and his family Josh; one sister, Margaret Baker and her family Mickey, Nisha and Peter; and one grandson, Jeremiah Foltz. MOORE, Charles E., 71, of Auburndale, died Aug. 19, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Ethal; two sons; one daughter; three sisters; and eight grandchildren.

RAMIREZ, Ernest L., Sr., age 93, of Tampa, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2002. Mr. Ramirez was preceded in death by his beloved wife and mother of his children, Cathryn Gillette Ramirez, and by his wife Marian Ramirez. Survivors include his son, Ernest L. Ramirez,Jr. (Carol) of Spring Hill; daughter, Carole H. Braddy (Terry) of Odessa; sister, Hortense Marks of Tampa; grandchildren, Thomas, Gregg, and Casey Hampton; and four great-grandchildren. Mr. Ramirez was an active Mason who was a member of the Hillsborough Lodge # 25 F.A.&M., Tampa Scottish Rite, and Egypt Temple Shrine. Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday morning 11 a.m. August 21, 2002 at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center, 12902 Magnolia Drive, Tampa, FL 33612.

RENFROE, Charles `Frank`, 77, passed away in Brandon on August 17, 2002. He was a 26 year veteran of the Tampa Police Department, a U.S. Navy Veteran, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Dover. He is survived by his loving wife, Helen; sons, Charles Frank Renfroe, Jr., and John W. Renfroe, daughter, Sonya E. Sampson; brother, Paul Renfroe; sisters, Edna DeRing, Lucy Chabdratz and Ruby Williams; and grandson, Charles Dustin Renfroe. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association. Visitation will be held on August 21, 2002 at 1 p.m. with services to follow at 2 p.m. at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home.

RICHARDSON, Nora Jane, 77, a resident of Plant City, passed away August 18, 2002. She is survived by her devoted husband, Kirby A. Richardson; her loving family, daughter, Sandra Hodge; son, Donald Richardson and his wife Susan; adoring grandchildren, Ken and Eric Pilcher, Brad Hodge, Laura and John Richardson; and one great-grandchild Alex Pilcher. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 21, 2002 at 11 a.m. from Hopewell Funeral home Chapel with Rev. Alvin Livingston officiating. Interment will follow in Hopewell Memorial Gardens. A native of Salinas, Puerto Rico and resident of Tampa for the past seven years, Mr. Sanchez is survived by his wife, Maria; sons, Frank, Peter and Robert Sanchez; daughter, Brenda Vidal Sanchez; mother, Geronima Sanchez; brother, Noel Sanchez; sister, Nydia Santana and four grandchildren.

SPICOLA, Grace C., 93, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2002. The last of eight siblings, she was a native of Tampa and resided in North Collins, New York with her husband, Anthony D. Spicola, for more than fifty years, and returned to Tampa upon his death in 1977. She is survived by her sister-in-law and caregiver, Angie Ciccarello of Tampa; sister-in-law, Josephine Spicola of North Collins; as well as several nieces and nephews in the Tampa and Buffalo, New York areas. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 21, 2002 at Woodlawn Cemetery, Tampa. Family will receive friends prior to the service from 9-10 a.m. at

STOCKMAN, Harry Martin, 53, of Tampa, died Aug. 16, 2002. He is survived by sister, Sonja Brewer; and two nieces, Lisa and Kristin Brewer, all of Massachusetts.

CORLETT, Christel G., 72, of holiday, Fla., died Friday, Aug. 16, 2002 at her residence. Born in Germany, she came to Florida in 1984 from Hometown, Ill. Mrs. Corlett was an active member of the Beacon Square Civic Assoc. She is survived by her husband, Robert; two sons, Robert and Terrence; a daughter, Pamela Vajarsky; a brother in Germany, Rudolph Gessmann; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will celebrate her life on Thursday, Aug. 22, at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Holiday, Fla. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to Hernando-Pasco Hospice would be appreciated.

PENDARVIS, Willard L, 88, of Zephyrhills, died Sunday, August 18, 2002. He was born in Rutland, Florida and devoted most of his career working for local citrus groves. He was a World War II Army veteran. Survivors include two sisters, Sally White of Homosassa and Jessie Healea of Zephyrhills; a son, Bobby Wallace and daughter, Lavanda Hamlet, both of Tampa; six grand-children; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews, including Christeen Thompson, New Port Richey. Family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Graveside services will be at Florida National Cemetery on Thursday at 2:30 p.m.

PETERSON, Hubertine, Elaine, 81, passed away August 14, 2002. Born in Riverside, Iowa on November 16, 1920, she is survived by her husband of 54 years, Russell; three children, Lynette, Keith, and Russell J.; and seven grandchildren. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. A memorial mass will be held on August 27, 2002 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Father John Hays will be officiating.

SPALL, John E., Sr., passed away August 7, 2002 in Geneseo, N.Y. Survived by a companion, Kaye Brady; a son; two daughters; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. Internment will be held 1:30 p.m. (Today) Wednesday, August 21 at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, with Chaplain Marc Genton officiating. Mr. Spall came to this area 26 years ago from Rochester, N.Y.

SPARKMAN, Seth, 84, of Dade City, died Monday, August 19, 2002 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Center in Dade City. He moved here in 1926 from his native McShan, Alabama. He was retired from Evans Packing Company and had worked for Lykes-Pasco for 32 years previously. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dade City, the Dade City Masonic Lodge #48 and the Shriner's. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Sadie; two daughters, Linda Stanley and her husband, Ronald of Wesley Chapel and Diane Sparkman of Wesley Chapel; four sisters, Frances Sparkman, Glenna Sparkman, Dorothy Reethof and Mary Elizabeth Fallin and her husband, Sam, all of Dade City; two nieces, Mary Epperson of Lutz and Lea Thomas of San Antonio; and a nephew, Evans Fallin of Fernandina Beach, Fla. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 22, 2002 from 6-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Graveside funeral services will be held at Dade City Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 23, 2002 with Reverend Rainey Council officiating. WILSON, Howard Thomas, 81, of Dade City, Fla., passed away Saturday, August 17, 2002 at his home in Dade City. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lena Wilson of Dade City, Fla.; two sons, Howard Thomas Wilson Jr. of Dade City and Mark Evan Wilson of Dade City; two daughters, Florence EvaMae Bozeman of Darby, Fla. and Malia Jo Wilson of Dade City; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was born May 30, 1921 in Greer, Fla., and moved back to Dade City 33 years ago from Barrington, N.H. He was a retired Aluminum & Vinyl Installer. He was a member of the American Legion and was a U.S. Marine Corp. Veteran.

ANTROSS, Kathryn M., 66, of Valrico, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2002. She was an artist, avid bridge player and a member of SeniorNet at U.S.F. She is survived by her husband, Col. Richard C. Antross (U.S. Army, Ret.); son, Craig Antross of Brandon; and daughter, Christine Corey of Highlands Ranch, Colo. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday at the chapel of Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, 6919 Providence Rd. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Final Inurnment will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla. BYRD, Adrian J. age 91, passed away August 18, 2002. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Nellie C. Bryd; sons, Joseph `Eddie` (Robyn) of Raleigh, N.C. and William (Lauren) of Brooksville, Fla.; daughter, Adrianne Pynn (Robert) of Brandon, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Adrian was born in Ahoskie, N.C., second youngest of 14 children, all of whom have preceded him in death. Adrian and Nellie met in N.Y.C., married October 12, 1940, and moved to Norfolk, Va. where they raised their family. He retired from Norfolk Naval Air Station and they moved to Valrico, Fla. 18 years ago. They belong to Fellowship Baptist Church of Valrico. As a husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Adrian was much loved and is and will be greatly missed. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, August 21 at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in Adrian's memory to Alzheimer's Association Tampa Bay Chapter or LifePath Hospice of Tampa.
