SCIONTI, Morris Michael `Mike`, age 65, a native and lifelong resident of Tampa, passed away August 22, 2002. Survivors include his loving children: son, Michael Joseph Scionti; daughters, Elizabeth Anne McClain and husband, Wayne and Jane Michael Ramos and husband, Paul; beloved grandchildren, Michael Andrew and Alexandrea Taylor McClain, Sarah Jane, Emily Michael and Grace Scionti Ramos; loved one, Julie Reynolds and her daughter, Elise; former wife, Susan Mary Scionti; brothers, Anthony Scionti and wife, Claudette and Joseph Scionti and wife, Sandi; sister, Jeanette Emery; and several loving nieces and nephews. Born September 16, 1936, Mr. Scionti was a graduate of H.B. Plant High School and lettered in football, baseball, basketball and track. He graduated from the University of T ampa with a degree in Political Science and earned his Masters degree from Florida State University. Mr. Scionti was a lifelong educator beginning his career at Robinson High School and continued his career teaching Law Studies at H.B. Plant High. Most recently he was selected to serve as the Chair of the Executive Committee of the Democratic Party in Hillsborough County. This position fulfilled h is passion and dedication to the values of the Democratic Party. Above all, his first love was his loving family, especially his children and grandchildren. He was a devoted Father, Grandfather and family man. His love and energy touched many lives in many ways and he will live forever in the hearts of those who love him so dearly. A Funeral Mass will be offered for the repose of his soul, Monday evening at 7 o'clock at Christ the King Catholic Church, corner of S. Dale Mabry Hwy. and Henderson Blvd. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be wade to the American Heart Assoc., in loving memory of Mr. Scionti. Pallbearers include: Michael Joseph Scionti, Wayne McClain, Paul Ramos, Anthony Scionti, Joseph Scionti, Paul Messina, Jr., Eric Riley and Richard Scionti. Honorary P allbearers include: Anthony Scionti, Michael D., Joseph R., James R., and Robert A. Scionti and Robert D. Emery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 p.m. until time of funeral mass at church.

TABB, Eddie, 86, of Tampa, passed away August 23, 2002. Survivors include his two sons, James L. Tabb and his wife, Jean and Robert E. Tabb and his wife, Susan; three sisters, Beth Hinson, Dolores Eubanks and Frances Mulligan; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 26, 2002, at 2:00 p.m. in the Garden of Memories Chapel, 4207 E. Lake Ave., with interment to follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 4-6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

TROUTT, Albert Aaron, 79, of Tampa passed away on Friday, August 23, 2002 at Tampa General Hospital. He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Troutt and is survived by his son, John D. Troutt; step-son, Richard Hogard; daughters, Linda Weist and Christina Butler; step-daughters Patricia Griffin and Donna Gayle Malnar; a brother, Edward J. Troutt; a sister, Lillian Herner; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Mr. Troutt was a World War II Navy Veteran and was a member of American Legion Post #139. A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2002 at 2 p.m. at the Mark III Funeral Home South Tampa Chapel. Interment in Florida National Cemetery will be held at a later date. WALROND, Ivy, born June 27, 1919 and passed away on August 23, 2002. Mrs. Ivy Walrond was born in the Republic of Panama to Emma Tappert and George Flemings of Jamaica. She grew up in the town of San Miguel, and studied at the Gil Colunje Primary School. Later, she obtained employment at the Tivoli Guest House where she worked until 1955. She then migrated to the United States and lived in New Jersey and New York. Originally, she worked at odd jobs until she obtained permanent employment with the New York Transit Authority. For some 20 years she sold tokens at the 42nd St. Station. In 1958, she met and married the late, Julian Walrond who was also an employee of the Transit Authority. Upon retirement they moved to Tampa, Florida in 1990, where she became active in the St. Catherine Epi scopal Church, volunteered with the Children's Society, participated in Senior Citizen activities, and assisted her husband while he drove for Habitat for Humanity. Mrs. Walrond was well known for her crocheting and sewing skills. Being very sociable, she enjoyed cooking and entertaining her friends. Though she did not have any children, Ivy will sorely be missed by the following relatives: niece, Mrs. Cecilia Hawkins and family; niece, Norma Glave; nephew, Eric Glave and family; nephew, Reynaldo Flemings and family; sister-in-law, Mrs. Edita Flemings and family; Eleanor Tennent; and Silvia Grant. Throughout her life, Mrs. Walrond demonstrated a strong faith in God. As evidence, we quote from her favorite Psalm 71: ` In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be put to confusion.` May she ever rest in peace.

WRIGHT, Rodger, F., 74. His smile says it all! He went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, August 22, 2002. Born in Webster, he moved to Tampa 58 years ago. He served in the Navy two years. He is survived by his wife, Janet Wright; his five children, Robert Wright, Ronald Wright and wife, Debbie, Lisa Barnes and husband, John, Janice Agan and husband, Tony and Rodger Wright Jr. and wife, Glenda; brother, Carroll and sister, Lallage; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. There will be a Memorial Service Tuesday, August 27, 2002 at 3:00 p.m. at Church of God of Prophecy, 401 W. Bouganvillea Ave., Tampa.

BOLLES, Sherman M., age 89, of Brooksville, died Saturday, Aug. 24, 2002 at Hospice Care of Lake Wales, Fla. Born in Plattsburg, N.Y., he came here 12 years ago from Orange City, Fla. He was an Accountant for Houghton College, a member of Giddeons International and the Brooksville Wesleyan Church. Survivors include his wife, Edith of Lake Wales.

Survivors include a son, Peter Francis Mallon, Jr. of New York; three daughters, Patricia Sanna Jody of Florida, Pamela Mallon of Virginia and Paula Koepsel of California; a brother, Gregory Doyle of New York; and two grandchildren, Tucker Jon Sanna and Julia Schiller.

HOUSEWORTH, Diana Rowland Crooks, 43, of Coalton, Ohio, passed away Friday, August 23, 2002 at the Four Winds Nursing home in Jackson, Ohio. Preceded in death by her father, Roger Rowland; grandparents, James and Lillian Rowland and George and Lucille Rorrar; and her first husband, Bill Crooks. Survivors include her husband, Darrel Houseworth; her mother, Jane Rowland Grady and step-father, Tod Grady; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and three beagles, Nickki, Freddie and Preciouse. KEEHN, Evelyn R., 67, died Saturday, August 24, 2002 at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater following a brief illness. She was born in Granite City, Illinois, and came to Clearwater with her husband from Eau Claire, Wisconsin in 1956. She held a teaching degree from Eau Claire State Teachers College and a Masters Degree in Library Science from the University of South Florida in Tampa. Evelyn retired from the Pinellas County School System after 25 years of service. During her educational career, Evelyn taught at Ponce De Leon Elementary School in Largo and Plumb Elementary in Clearwater. After receiving her graduate degree in 1968, Evelyn worked as the Librarian of Dunedin Highland Middle School. In addition to her educational role, Evelyn was an advocate for teachers as a past lobbyist for the Pinellas County Teachers' Association and a member of the National Educators Association. She was a devout Christian, longtime member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Largo, and active in community service projects as a member of the Aid Association for Lutherans. Evelyn was also known nationally as an accomplished Deltiologist and served as Director of the Sunshine Postcard Club. She was co-owner of Clearwater-based Keehn Kollectibles, which markets vintage postcards to nationwide clientele. She was a charter season ticket holder with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, a longtime season ticket holder with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and a supporter of Ruth Eckerd Hall. Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Clayton C. Keehn of Clearwater; a son, Jeffrey C. Keehn of Bushnell; two daug hters, Pamela K. Iusi of Clearwater and Cindy M. Keehn of Asheville, North Carolina; one sister, Joyce C. Van Gorder of Lake City, three brothers, E. Jack Chamberlain of Clearwater, Ronald E. Chamberlain of Tarpon Springs and James L. Chamberlain of St. Petersburg; and two grandchildren, Dylan and Caroline Iusi of Clearwater. There will be a Visitation Tuesday evening at Moss-Feaster Funeral Homes, 693 South Belcher Road. A Funeral Service will be held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Largo at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.

KENNEDY, Christine A., died Saturday, August 24, 2002 under the care of LifePath Hospice. A Tampa native, she spent much of her life as a homemaker. She was a Pentecostal and Ordained Minister, who attended The New Testament Church in Tampa. MERCER, Pauline, 79, of Spring Hill, Fla., passed away peacefully Saturday, August 24, 2002 at her residence. She was born in Lyons County, Ga. and then moved to Spring Hill. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 52 years, Benjamin F. Mercer; and a grandson, Donald H. Mercer. She is survived by son, Dennis and wife, Theresia Mercer of Spring Hill; sister, Bea Kirkland of Tampa; grandchildren, Linda and husband, Johnny Bigger, and Susan Touchston; and five great-grandchildren, Amanda, Jennifer, Stephanie, Johnny, and Kelsi. The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 27, from 6-8:00 p.m. at the Loyless Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service will be on Wednesday, August 28, at 10:00 a.m. at the Fivay Cemetery on Kent Grove Road in Spring Hill.
