Amminabah (Bonnie) Thomas, 52, of Ozark died Friday, July 12, 2002, in a boating accident on Lake Eufaula. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Rose Missionary Baptist Church in Skipperville, Ala., with the Rev. Jerry Bennett officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Trawick Funeral Home officiating.

Jean McGriff Blackwell, 67, of Linden, Ala., passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2002, at her home. Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. today at Linden Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Harris officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Columbia City Cemetery in Columbia. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Linden with O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Linden directing. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to M.D. Anderson Medical Center Thoracic Research, Dr. Frank Fossella, 1515 Holcomb Blvd., Box 432, Houston, Texas , 77030, or Palmer Home for Children, Box 746, Columbus, Miss., 39703-9983.

Perry E. (Bud) Smith, 50, of Black died Tuesday, July 16, 2002, at his home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today at Christian Home FWB Church with the Rev. James Lolley and the Rev. Tracy Hobbs officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home of Hartford directing. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

William L. Johnson, 73, of 342 S. Saint Andrews St., Apt 504, died at his residence following a brief illness. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today at Cherry Street A.M.E. Church with the Rev. Dennis Terry officiating. Burial will follow in the city cemetery with Hammond Funeral Home directing. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the funeral for viewing.

Mr. Ralph Glenn Harlin Sr., 58, of 37 Verna Circle, Daleville died Tuesday, July 16, 2002, in Flowers Hospital after a brief illness. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. today from the Patterson-Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Duhaime officiating. Burial with graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday from the Criswell Cemetery in Estaboga, Ala., near Anniston, with the Rev. W.W. Williams officiating and Patterson-Sorrells Funeral Home directing.

Bill B. McEachern, 79, of Pensacola, Fla., formerly of Geneva, died Wednesday, July 17, 2002, in Pensacola. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Chapel of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home of Geneva. Burial will follow in Pleasant Home FWB Church Cemetery with Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home of Geneva directing. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Isaac Godwin, 89, of Greenwood died Aug. 21, 2002 in the Jackson Hospital. The funeral will be held Tuesday, Aug. 28, at 2 p.m. at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. L.V. Farmer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery, Vann Funeral Home directing. The body will lie at the church one hour prior to the funeral.

Wayne A. Gibson Sr., 87, of Grand Ridge died Friday, Aug. 23, 2002, at his residence. The funeral service will be held today, Sunday, Aug. 25 at 3 p.m. in the El Bethel Assembly of God Church with pastors Jack Howell and William Walker officiating. Burial will be in the Dykes Cemetery, Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing. The family received friends Saturday evening, Aug. 24, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the El Bethel Assembly of God Church. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the El Bethel Assembly of God Church Building Fund.

Nellie Myrl Jarmon, 73, of Marianna died Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2002, at her residence. The funeral will be held Friday, Nov. 29, at 10 a.m. in the Marianna Church of God with Revs. Anthony Glover and Ronnie Wright officiating. Burial will be in Rocky Grove Cemetery in Malone with Marianna Chapel directing. The family will receive friends tonight, Thursday, Nov. 28, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.

Julie Sue Woolever, 43, of Dunedin died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2002, at her residence. Arrangements will be announced by Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.

Edward Lee Christmas, 79, of Cottondale died Wednesday, July 31, 2002, at his residence. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the First Assembly of God Church in Marianna with Revs. Mrs. Frances Dudley and Carlton Baggett officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery with Lord Funeral Home of Marianna directing.Thursday evening at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Brother E. Hartsfield was born to the late John and Bessie Hartsfield on July 1, 1920. The funeral service will be Saturday, August 17, 2002 at 2 p.m. at Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church, Greenwood, FL. The body will lie at the church for one hour prior to service.

Richard Alfred “Dick” Hastings, 81, of Malone died Wednesday, August 14, 2002, at his residence. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 17, at the Malone First Baptist Church with Revs. John Smith, John Boss and Mr. John Ford officiating. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memory Gardens with Lord Funeral Home of Marianna directing. The family will recieve friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a contribution to Hospice of the Emerald Coast, P.O. Box 637, Marianna, Fl 32447.

Francis Stone, 92, of Altha, died Friday morning in Marianna. The funeral will be held 2 p.m. CST today, Sunday, Dec. 1, at the Altha Church of God. Burial will be in the Mt. Olive Cemetery. The family received friends 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday evening at the Adams Funeral Home in Altha. Adams Funeral Home in Altha is in charge of the arrangements.

Rosa Lee Bellamy Ephriam, 88, of Marianna died Friday, Nov. 29, 2002, at the Jackson Hospital. The funeral will be held Tuesday, Dec. 3, at noon at the Jerusalem African Methodist Episcopal Church with Revs. Gloria Long, Isiah Morgan, Frances Menchion, and David Rhone officiating. Burial will be in Orange Hill Cemetery. The body will lie at the church one hour prior to the funeral. The family will receive friends Monday, Dec. 2, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Vann Funeral Home. Vann Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Jane Allison, 80, of Marianna died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2002, at the Chipola Nursing Pavilion. Arrangements will be announced by Lord Funeral Home of Marianna.

Roberta Ellis Pressley, affectionately known as “Love”, of 4214 Clay Street, Marianna, died Tuesday, July 9, 2002, in Jackson Hospital following an extended illness. The funeral was held at noon on Saturday, July 13, at Saint James AME Church in Marianna with Rev. Nathan Mugala, Elder Thelma Shaw-Young and Rev. James Bowles officiating. Burial was in the Orange Hill Cemetery under the directions of Christian Memorial Chapel of Graceville. The family received friends in the Peoples Funeral Home Chapel in Marianna on Friday, July 12, from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those that wish can make a contribution to the Roberta Ellis Pressley Scholarship Fund.

Dorothy Margaret Dudley, 79, of Lake City, formerly of Grand Ridge, died Thursday at Shands at Lake Shore Hospital in Lake City following an extended illness. The funeral was held Saturday, July 13, at 2 p.m. at Maddox Chapel with the Revs. Garland Key and Michael Stephens officiating. Burial was in the Shady Grove Cemetery with James and James Funeral Home, Maddox Chapel directing.

Derrek Kendall Chason, 20, of Hosford died July 10, 2002 after an extended battle with cancer. The funeral was held at 10 a.m. CST at Corinth Baptist Church in Hosford on July 13. Independent Funeral Home in Quincy was in charge of arrangements.

Dicie Bozeman Sims, 80, of Marianna died Saturday, July 13, 2002, at her residence. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 15, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Clay Rooks officiating. Burial will be in the Sink Creek Cemetery with Lord Funeral Home of Marianna directing. The will receive friends at their residence.

Lisa Lash, 32, of Perdido Key died Nov. 24, 2002 at Gulf Port Memorial Hospital in Gulf Port, Miss., after an extended illness. A private memorial service for close family and friends will be held Friday night, Nov. 29, at 7 p.m. at Reimann’s Funeral Home in Bioloxi, Miss. following cremation. Flowers may be sent to Reimann’s Funeral Home in Bioloxi, Miss.

Estelle W. Harrelson, 92, of Callaway died Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2002, in a Marianna hospital. The funeral will be held Friday, Aug. 9, at 10 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Nope officiating. Burial will be in the Callaway Cemetery, with the funeral home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Thursday.

Marvin Eugene Bennett, 69, of Marianna died Tuesday, April 6, 2002, at Marianna Convalescent Center. A memorial service is planned for a later date. Lord Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Annie Murl Norwood, 76, of Blountstown died Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2002, in Blountstown. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. (CDT) today, Aug. 8, at Maddox Chapel with Revs. Terry Estes and Wendall Rudd officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery in Chipley with James and James Funeral Home, Maddox Chapel of Marianna directing.

Dorothy Granberry, 56, of 4503 East Jackson Street, died Monday, Aug. 5, 2002, in the Marianna Convalescent Center. The funeral will be held Friday, Aug. 9, at 1 p.m. at St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. R. J. Henderson officiating. Burial will be in the Orange Hill Cemetery with Peoples Funeral Home directing. The body will lie at the church one hour prior to the funeral.

Mae Lue Blackshear, 83, of 2843 Washington St., died Sunday, Aug. 4, 2002, in the Marianna Convalescent Center. The funeral will be held Saturday, Aug. 10, at the Peoples Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Tom Blackmon officiating. Burial will be in the Bethlehem Church Cemetery with the funeral home directing. The body will lie at the chapel from 8 a.m. until funeral time.
