FARMER, Kathleen T., of Largo died October 3, 2002 at Rosewood Home ALF. She was born in Boston, Mass., lived in Panama City, Fla. for over 35 years, and moved to Largo from Marshfield, Mass., in 1997. She graduated from Boston University with a degree in Business; also from the University of West Florida with a degree in Psychology. She worked for the Department of Navy, including 22 years at the Naval Coastal Systems Center, Panama City, Fla. and retired from the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Portsmouth, N.H. as Civilian Administrative Officer, after completing 32 years of Federal civilian service. She was a volunteer at the Largo Medical Center and Largo Cultural Center; also, Meals on Wheels programs in Panama City, Fla., and Marshfield, Mass. Survivors include daughter, Donna, Braintree, Mass.; son, Gregory, Brandon, Fla.; sister, Margaret Hagen, S. Windsor, Conn.; grandson, Jason, Braintree, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 19, 2002 at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.

HAGERMAN, Geraldine P. , 77, Odessa, died October 4, 2002. Born in Oxford, Fla., she was a beauty shop owner/operator and member of Idlewild Baptist Church. Survived by sons and their wives, George and Teresa, Odessa, Terry and Lynne, Lutz; daughter and husband, Cynthia and Pete Casabonne of Marietta, Ga.; sister and husband, Mattalene and C.M. Wicker, Sanford, N.C.; grandchildren, Wesley and Michael Hagerman, Jessica Gould, Julianna and Jennifer Cassabonne. Visitation will be from 6:00 til 8:00 p.m., Monday, Oct. 7th at Swilley Funeral Home, 1602 W. Waters Ave. Interment will be in Florida National (VA) Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla. at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 8th.

HOPKINS, Eara Coffin, 80 of Zephyrhills, Florida, passed Friday, October 4, 2002 at Heartland Nursing Home. Mrs. Hopkins was a homemaker and of the Protestant faith. She moved to Zephyrhills from Tampa in 1972. She is survived by her son, George M. Coffin of Zephyrhills; two brothers, Richard Driggers of Zephyrhills, and L.C. Driggers of Lakeland; three sisters, Ruth Douglas of Starke, Louise Diamond of Dover and Flossie Lee of Zephyrhills; two grandsons, Denver G. Coffin and Brett A. Coffin of Lutz; and one granddaughter, Cindee J. Campbell of Dade City; and three great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 7, 2002 from 7:00 to 9 p.m. Services will be on Tuesday, October 8, 2002 at Kelly Funeral Home with the Rev. David Frit officiating.

SCOTT, Theresa M., nee O'Brien, of Tampa, passed away October 2, 2002 in Tampa. She was born in Philadelphia, Pa., and moved here from Washington D.C. She was a retired Legal Secretary. Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by her husbands, George W. Windsor and Lt. Melvin A. Scott; and her grandson, Gregory Steuart. Survivors include her daughter, Joan E. Windsor; granddaughter, Julie Steuart-Sanford; grandson, Christopher Triplett and wife Michele; great-grandchildren Lauracatherine, Chelsealaurel and Ryan. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday 4:00 p.m. at Bayshore Presbyterian Apartments. Burial will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.

STEPHENS, Thomas D., 74, of Dade City, Fla., a life long native of Florida, went to rest with the Lord October 4, 2002. Survivors include his wife, Jeannine; sister, Katherine; daughter, Debby; sons, Tim and Matt; daughter-in-law, Diane; grandchildren, Jennifer, Audra, Steven, Adam, Levi, Hannah and Sage; and great-grandchild, Haley. His Tampa roots led him to Tampa Electric Company, where he was faithfully employed for 45 years. He began Stephens and Sons House Movers in 1970. In his retirement he served the University of South Florida for seven years until his illness. He loved the Lord and attended Calvary Assembly Church in Dade City. Come celebrate his life with the family, one hour prior to the service. Service time will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 8, 2002 at Lowry Park Community Church, 919 W. Kirby, north of Sligh and west off of N. Boulevard. Graveside service will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. For those who knew him, watching the Florida Gators will never be the same.

TAYLOR, Linda M., 39, of Tampa, passed away October 4, 2002 at her residence. She is survived by her husband, George; son, Michael Sean; daughter, Lisa Marie; parents, George and Lorraine Bauer; and brothers, Robert and Kenneth Bauer. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2002 at 10:00 am.

WAITS, Ruth J., of Tampa, Florida entered into heavenly rest on October 4, 2002. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia June 14, 1914 and moved to Tampa in 1944. Mrs. Waits worked in the Business Division of the School District of Hillsborough County for 28 years before retiring in 1979. She also taught Bible classes for many years at the Tampa Baptist Church. She was devoted to her family, church, and friends. She enjoyed reading, traveling, and gardening. Mrs. Waits was predeceased by J. Claude Waits, her husband of 59 years; his daughters, Vivian Atkinson and Juanita Archer; and granddaughter, Linda McLeod. Survivors are daughter, Claudia Stephens and husband Kenneth; and their children, Ken Stephens, wife Kathy; and their son, Tyler; Gina Stephens Leavens and husband, Bob, all of Tampa; Mr. Waits daughter, Lucille Caldwell, Orlando; and her children, Gene, Jerry, and James Caldwell, and Cindy McAllister; and their families, children of Juanita Archer: Carl Archer, Maribeth Allen, Ruth Archer, and their families; sister, Thelma Morgan; and brother, Jim Jones, both of Rockmart, Georgia; brother, Bob Jones of Chula Vista, California; and many nieces and nephews. The family gives special thanks to caregiver, Linda Allen. Services will be held at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4207 E. Lake Avenue, Tuesday, October 8, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

WILSON, Warren A. III, 50, of Clearwater, Fla., died Friday, October 4, 2002. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia and moved to Clearwater and Palm Harbor in 1964 from Hollywood, Florida. He was an attorney and founding partner of Wilson, Wilson and Long, PA., in Palm Harbor, Fla. He was a member of the Florida Bar; Clearwater Bar; West Pasco Bar and American Bar Associations; past President Palm Harbor Rotary Club; past President Palm Harbor Chamber of Commerce; past President Canakaris Family Inns of Court; past President Florida Blue Key; was a graduate of University of Florida Law School and a `BULL GATOR`; authored `Florida Dissolution of Marriage`. Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Beth S. Wilson of Clearwater; his son, Scott W. Wilson of Clearwater; his parents, Warren A. and Blanche Wilson, Jr. of Palm Harbor, Fla.; his brother, James L. Wilson of Safety Harbor, Fla.; a niece; and three nephews. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. at Curlew Hills Funeral Home, conducted by Rabbi Gary M. Klein. Interment will follow at Curlew Hills Memory Gardens. The family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the United Cerebral Palsy.

CONATY, Patricia C., 55, of Zephyrhills, born March 25, 1947 and passed away October 5, 2002 at Pasco Regional Medical Center in Dade City. She came here 35 years ago from her native Jamestown, New York. She was a Baptist and a manager with Publix Grocery Store. Survivors include three sons, David Henson of Zephyrhills, Mark Henson of Port Richey and Scott Henson of New Port Richey; a brother, Charles Cross of Concord, N.C.; a sister, Barbara Kline of Chesapeake, Va.; and two grandchildren.

FLEMING, Gertrude, age 95, of Zephyrhills, passed away October 5, 2002 in Zephyrhills. She is survived by her husband, Glenn of Zephyrhills; daughter, Patricia Tinley, also of Zephyrhills; son, Wesley Shinkle of Rock Creek, Ohio; eight grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at the First Church of Christ in Painesville, Ohio.

KLINE, Lillian L. Dyson, 85, of New Port Richey, died Oct. 6, 2002 at Tandem Health Care, New Port Richey. Born in Nantyglo, Pa. she moved here three years age from Cleveland, Ohio. She was a homemaker, a Methodist and a member of First Methodist Church in Cleveland, Ohio. Survivors include her son, John Kline of New Port Richey; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Interment will take place in Cleveland, Ohio. Those who wish may make donations to the Alzheimer's Association.

PLICKA, Muriel A. , 82, of Port Richey, died Monday, Oct. 7, 2002 at Community Hospital of New Port Richey. She was born in Montfort, Wisconsin and moved to Port Richey from Riverview, Fla. in 1986. She was a clerk for an electric company; a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, New Port Richey; a member of Women of the Moose, New Port Richey; and a volunteer for PAWS, Port Richey. Survivors include two sons, Thomas Plicka of Garden Grove, Calif and Anthony Plicka of Milwaukee, Wis.; daughter, Anne Towers of Port Richey; and six grandchildren. Visitation is Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2002 from 6-8 p.m. at Dobies Funeral Home where funeral service will be Thursday, Oct. 10, 2002 at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Hackney Cemetery, Riverview, Fla.

ROMANN, Roger W., 53, of New Port Richey, died Sunday, Oct. 6, 2002 at North Bay Medical Center, New Port Richey. He was born in Brooklyn, New York and moved to New Port Richey from Long Island, N.Y. in 1978. He was a mechanic for UPS, New Port Richey and an Army Veteran of Vietnam Conflict. Survivors include wife, Ellen Romann of New Port Richey; two daughters, Janine Romann and Sabrina Romann, both of New Port Richey; parents, Eric and Gladys Romann of Pembroke Pines, Fla.; brother, Brian Romann of Fort Kent, Maine; and sisters, Christine Palermo of Pembroke Pines, Karen Kohlien of Port St. Lucie, Fla. and Virginia Steves of Pembroke Pines. A memorial gathering will be Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2002 from 2 p.m. until memorial service at 4 p.m. at Dobies Funeral Home.

RYAN, John T., 91, of Holiday, died Monday, Oct. 7, 2002 at Heather Hill Nursing Home, New Port Richey. He was born in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Holiday from Patchogue, N.Y. in 1972. He was a retired Sergeant of the Security Police for Northrop-Grumman in N.Y.; a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, New Port Richey; and a member, past Grand Knight and past District Deputy of Fr. Farrell Knights of Columbus Council #6476 and 4th Degree Assembly, Holiday. Survivors include daughter, Pat Pipe of Hudson; brother, Thomas Ryan of Maryland; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2002 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Dobies Funeral Home. A Mass will be held on Thursday, Oct. 10, 2002 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. SCHILLING, William J., Jr., 65, of Dade City and formerly of Sarasota, died Saturday, October 5, 2002. He was born February 11, 1937 in Canton, Ohio and moved to Sarasota in 1967. He came to Dade City in 1995. He was an Army veteran. He earned a degree in forestry from Michigan State University and worked for the State of Florida, Division of Forestry for 35 years. Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Letty; two daughters, Lori and Jody; three sons, Billy, Craig and Ross; a brother, Bob Schilling; a sister, Damaris Inderrienden; and six grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sunrise Domestic Violence Shelter, 12724 Smith Road, Dade City, FL 33525. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday October 9, 2002 from 10 a.m. until Noon. The funeral service will begin at Noon at the funeral home.

SNEAD, Jennifer Autumn `Sis`, 24, a lifelong resident of Brooksville passed away Saturday, October 5, 2002 at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg. She graduated from Central High School in 1996, worked for Hooters in Spring Hill, New Port Richey and Tampa, and was a Certified Home Health Care Assistant. She enjoyed playing volleyball, dancing, talking on the phone, spending time with family and friends, but most of all being a mother to her son, Quenton. She is predeceased by her paternal grandfather: John Snead; maternal grandfather: George G. Mott; two uncles: Fred Adgie and Raymond Snead; Great Aunt: Joan Cooper. She is survived by her son: Quenton Hammond of Brooksville, FL; her parents: John Jr. and his wife, Sharon Snead of Spring Hill, FL; Zee and her husband, Mike J. Armstrong of Abilene, TX; three brothers: John Snead III, Hunter and Austin Logan, all of Brooksville, FL; one sister: Jordan Snead of Spring Hill, FL; paternal grandmother: Alice `Meme` Snead of Brooksville, FL; maternal grandmother: LaRay `Granny Ray` Mott of Brooksville; one uncle: Graham and his wife Katrina Mott of Brooksville, FL; four aunts: Carol Adgie; Diane and her husband, Al Royal; Sue and her husband, Jim Filyaw; Debbie and her husband, John Carter, all of Brooksville; many great uncles, aunts and cousins. He was an equipment operator for the City of Stamford, Conn. and an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Hudson; member of the Elks Lodge, the Lions Club and Sons of Herman, all in Connecticut; and a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, Florida. Survivors include wife of 46 years, Dorothy Vogt of Hudson; two sons, Stephen Vogt of Hamburg, N.J. and Carl Vogt of Stamford, Conn.; brother, Walter Strohfeld of Cape Cod, Mass.; and two granddaughters. Burial will take place in Connecticut.

Rapley Armstrong officiating. Interment to follow in Garden of Memories cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.

CENTENO, Alicia Trasorras, age 87, a life long native of Tampa, passed away Monday, October 7, 2002. She was preceded in death by her husband Romulo Centeno. She is survived by her brother, Rene Trasorras; sisters, Dora Gonzalez, Olga Capez, Mirta Rosello and Edna Trasorras. She never had children of her own but was loved by all her nephews and nieces. Alicia worked many years as a cigar maker at the Corral-Wodiska Cigar Company. Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, October 9, 2002, 10 a.m. at the Centro Espanol Cemetery. Pallbearers include her nephews; Arthur, Ruben and Dr. Arthur J. Pedregal, Richard Rosello, Rene J. Trasorras and Tom Billinge. Honorary Pall Bearers include; Lenin Perez, Anibal Rosello, Jeff Thomas, George Triquero, Eddie Gonzalez, Frank Rodriquez, Damian Martinez, Daniel Abreu, Gary Rodriquez, Barry Muranti, Roberto Abreu, Joe `Cheo` Rodriguez, Frank Di Vito, and Michael Van Dyke. Family will receive friends at the Armenia Chapel of Blount Curry & Roel Funeral Homes Tuesday evening, 6 to 8 p.m.
