MCGLASSON, Ralph D., Sr., 86, of Tampa, passed away October 9, 2002 in Oldsmar. Survivors include his sons, Ralph D. Jr. and Jan C. and their families. Burial to take place in Whiteplains, N.Y.

MOHAR, Gregory J., 73, of Tampa passed away Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Margaret M. of Tampa; his son, Christopher Joseph Mohar and wife, Kandace of Tampa; his daughter, Celeste Mohar Sacks and husband, Scott of Weston, Fla.; a brother, Paul E. Mohar of Harrisburg, Pa.; four grandchildren, Christopher Joseph Mohar, Jr., and Alexandra Kristine Mohar both of Tampa, and Stephanie Casey Sacks and Noah Matthews Sacks both of Weston, Fla. A native of Harrisburg, Pa., Mr. Mohar lived in the Tampa Bay area since 1953, coming from Pa. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Mr. Mohar was a career electronics engineer working in the U.S. Space program traveling world wide. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, and member Amateur Radio Assoc., a Real Estate Broker, Certified Property Manager (CPM Lifetime Member), a charter member of the South Tampa Chamber of Commerce, active in civic affairs to include the preservation and development of Picnic Island and Kelton Health Clinic. A Funeral Mass will be conducted 10 a.m. Sat. Oct. 12, 2002 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with interment to follow at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 9:15 a.m. until service time.

PITTMAN, Elizabeth Ann, 59, passed away October 9, 2002. Mrs. Pittman is predeceased by her father, Raymond Deming and sister, Mary Carolyn Deming. Survivors include, mother, Edith Deming; sons, David, Michael and James Pittman; brother, Gary Deming; sister, Donna and husband Bob Gulledge; niece, Debbie Gulledge; nephew, Robbie Gulledge; great nephews, Dean and Ryan Gulledge and five grandchildren. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, October 12, 2002 at the Town & Country Chapel of Mark III Funeral Home. REYES, Pedro J., age 74, ofTampa, passed away October 8, 2002. A native of Santurce, Puerto Rico and resident of Tampa since 1993, Mr. Reyes was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and is survived by his beloved wife, Hortensia; sons, Pedro Reyes and wife, Iris, Jesus Reyes and wife, Astrid, Jorge Reyes and Jose Reyes and wife, Ruth; daughters, Maria Reyes, Carmen Delgado and husband, Alberto and Rosa Martinez and husband, Miguel; brothers, Victor Reyes and wife, Angelita, Manuel Reyes and wife, Olga, Luis Reyes and wife, Socorro, Heriberto Reyes and wife, Gloria and Juan Reyes and wife, Renie; 18 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be offered for the repose of his soul this morning, Friday, at 10 o'clock at St. Paul Catholic Church with interment to follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.

ROUTH, Mary C., 85, died Oct. 9, 2002. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Christ the King Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in the Italian Club Cemetery. She was a lifelong resident of Tampa, and a member of Ladies Auxiliary Knights of Santiago, the Italian Club, and Sons of Italy. She attended Christ the King Catholic Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas A. Routh in 1978; and is survived by her sister, Catherine `Katie` Coriarty; nephew, Paul J. Corso and his wife Jerrine `JJ`; great-nephew, Ryan Corso; great-niece, Lindsay Corso; cousins, Rosie Baretto and Katie Peterson; and Nurse and caregiver, Sonja Tang. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, October 11, at the MacDill Avenue Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the donor's favorite charity.

SOUERS, Nell V. , 86, of St. Petersburg, died Oct. 6, 2002. Born in Medaryville, Ind. and moved to St Petersburg from Ind. several years age. Survived by son, Bob Souers of St. Petersburg, Fla.

SUAREZ, Anthony `Manteca`, age 96, of Tampa, passed away October 9, 2002. A native of Havana, Cuba and a lifelong resident of Tampa, Mr. Suarez was a cigar manufacturer in Tampa for many years. He is survived by his son, Anthony J. Suarez, III and wife JoAnn; daughter, Aida Diaz; sisters, Leonor Corces and Carmen Coto; grandchildren, Darlene Carter, Anthony and Richard Diaz, Katrina Noto, Janine Sennott and Anthony `Sport` Suarez; cousin, Joyce Healy; and five nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to LifePath Hospice in his memory. Private funeral services were held yesterday.

VAUGHAN, Edward L. Jr., 78, of Riverview died Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2002 surrounded by his loving family. He was a native of Chattanooga, Tenn. He came to Tampa in 1947. He was the husband of the late Dora Vaughan and worked for Orange State Motor Co., International Harvester, and Sunstate International until he retired in 1986. He also served in the Navy during World War II. He is survived by son, Lon Vaughan and wife, Renee; daughter, Debby Dillard and husband, Dan; son, Robert A. Vaughan and wife, Susie; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 11, 2002 at Stowers Brandon Chapel. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

AUSMUS, Edna, age 84, of Zephyrhills, passed away October 10, 2002 in Georgia, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by four sons, Carl (Jeannie), Paul (Lucy), Roger (Mary), and Alvin; four daughters, Carolyn (Ron) Lambert, Linda (Ben) Harding, Kathy (Donnie) Boisclair and Judy Beard; and many loving grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Saturday (today) October 12 at Oakley Funeral Home in Dade City at 3:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens Cemetery in Dade City.

He was born in Manchester, Connecticut and moved to New Port Richey from Bradenton, Fla. in 1998. He was a special agent for Hartford Life Insurance with 40 years of service and of the Catholic faith. Survivors include son, John Bendall of Port Richey; daughter, Elizabeth Jenkins of Warren, R.I.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Thomas B. DILLON, Roxy Bird, 91, of New Port Richey, died October 9, 2002 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Center, New Port Richey. Born in Farmington, W.Va., she came here 26 years ago from Fairmont, W.Va. She was the Dean of Women at Fairmont State College. She was a member of First United Methodist Church , New Port Richey; American Association of University Women; League of Women Voters; founder of Meals on Wheels in Fairmont, W.Va.; and a member of Alpha Xi Delta Sorority, Morgantown, W.Va.; She is survived by her son, David C. Dillon of San Jose, Calif.; and sister, Fairy Alice Downs of Farmington, W.Va.

POLLARD, Richard T. `Richey`, 33, of Hudson, Fla., passed away Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2002 in Hudson. He was born in Somerset, N.J., and came here 20 years ago from Toms River, N.J. He was a distribution station manager for the St. Petersburg Times. He was devoted to his children and loved computer games and dogs. He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Pollard; two sons, Gregory and Christopher of Hudson; a daughter, Nichole Pollard of Hudson; father and step-mother, Edward and Shirley Pollard of Lexington, N.C.; mother, Yolanda Pollard, of New Port Richey; three brothers, Arthur and Leonard, both of New Port Richey, and Adam of Lexington, N.C.; a sister, Tara Sarber of Lexington, N.C.; paternal grandmother, Edna Pollard of Middlesex, N.J.; and companion, Mary Bowhall of Hudson. The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Michels & Lundquist Funeral Home, 5228 Trouble Creek Rd., New Port Richey, where funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11 a. m. by Pastor Patrick Jones of Beacon Community Church of Hudson. RIPP, John F., 88, of New Port Richey, died Oct. 8, 2002 at Baytree Rehab & Nursing Center in Palm Harbor. Born in Philadelphia, Pa., he came here in 1972 from Tarpon Springs. He was a Catholic, a US Army veteran of World War II and a member of the VFW in Tarpon Springs. John is survived by one sister, Margaret Cantwell of Auburn, Mass. Visitation will be held Sunday, Oct. 13, 2002 from 2-4 p.m. at North Meadowlawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, New Port Richey, Florida.

TURLEY, Bernard C., Sr., 76, of New Port Richey, died Thursday, Oct. 10, 2002 at Community Hospital of New Port Richey. He was born in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania and moved to New Port Richey from Pittsburgh, Pa. in 1983. He was a retired mechanical engineer for Alcoa Aluminum (30 years of service); an Army Veteran of World War II; of Methodist faith; a member of Maple Island Camping Association, Pittsburgh, Pa.; and a member of Pitau Sigma and Pietta Sigma Fraternities of the University of Pittsburgh, Pa. Survivors include wife, Patrice Turley of New Port Richey; seven sons, Robert D. Turley, Thomas A. Turley, Bernard C. Turley, Jr., Paul A. Turley, Kenneth J. Turley, Kevin J. Turley and Raymond P. Turley, all of Pittsburgh, Pa.; daughter, Carol Wilkinson of Palm Harbor, Fla.; brother, Charles M. Turley of Clairton, Pa.; sister, Alice Stoops of Pittsburgh, Pa.; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

AQUILINA, Raymond T., D.D.S., 52, of Lithia, Fla., died October 5, 2002 under the loving care of LifePath Hospice. He was a dentist and served in the US Air Force. Survivors include his wife, LaGretta; two daughters, Jessica Wharton and Linda Aquilina; his parents, Emma and Thomas Aquilina; and two sisters, Debbie Aquilina and Eileen Glass. Memorial Service will be 3:30 p.m. Sunday, October 13, 2002 at Kings Avenue Baptist Church, 2062 South Kings Avenue, Brandon, Florida with Reverend Charles M. Richard, Jr. officiating. BLAKLEY, Clifford John Sr., 60, of Tampa died October 10, 2002. He was born in Queens, New York and moved to the Tampa area in 1961 and is retired from the Florida Dept. of Transportation. Mr. Blakley is survived by his wife Marilyn Blakley; sons, Clifford Lee Fletcher and wife Dee, Clifford John Blakley, Jr. and wife Miranda; step-son, Kevin Andrew Rott and wife Connie all of Tampa; daughters, Ruth Irene Young of Tampa, Anita Faith Warman and husband Dennis, Deborah Leigh Jensen and husband Bruce both of Murphy, N.C. He is preceeded in death by grandson, Christian Tyler Blakley. A Graveside Service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Garden of Memories Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Cancer Society or the Hillsborough County Humane Society.

BRISKEY, Carl Louis, 77, passed away Oct. 1, 2002, in Ft. Wayne, Indiana . He resided in Riverside, Fla., formerly of Temperance, Mich. He was born Feb. 23, 1925 to Pauline Kasperzak and Vincent Briskey. He served in the US Navy during World War II. He was married to Betty Rosencrantz for 57 years. They had six children: Susan (Harold) LaFountaine, Ruth Ann Rodd (deceased), Linda (Marton) Biery, Janette (Andy) Case-Day, Paula (Dennis) Clark, and Edward (Sandy) Briskey. Survivors also include his sisters, Dorothy, Theresa, and Grace. There are eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Mr. Briskey retired from Acklin Stamping in 1987. He was a UAW Local 12 member. There will be no visitation. A Memorial Mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, 2002 at Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Temperance, Mich.

CASEY, Wayne, Sr., 80, of Lakeland, died Oct. 10, 2002. Survived by his wife; three sons; three daughters; two sisters; and six grandchildren.
