CHANDLER, Phillip E., 66, of Gibsonton, passed away October 10, 2002. He was a member of International. Independent Showmen's Association. Survivors include his son, Marc Barr of Ind.; daughters, Robin Dykes, Lauren Fairchild and Natalie Cainan, all of Gibsonton; and four granddaughters.

CRUZ, Porfiria, 85, passed away on October 10, 2002. Mrs. Cruz was born in Puerto Rico and lived in Tampa for 15 years. She was a member of Corpus Christi Church. She is survived by her daughter, Cristina Vera; two grandchildren, Norbert Valentin and Aida Valentin; two brothers; three sisters; and many nieces and nephews. Donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, Tampa Bay Chapter. A funeral mass will be held today, 12:00 p.m., at Corpus Christi Catholic Church.

FAHEY, Robert W., 56, of Brandon passed away Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Elvira R.; daughters, Michelle and Jennifer; brothers, James H. Jr. and Patrick E. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Tampa Bay Bridge Club.

HABEGGER, Imogene G., 91, of Sun City Center and Fayetteville, N.Y., passed away October 10, 2002. She was born in Blanchard, Mich. and had wintered here since 1979. She was a charter member of the United Methodist Church of Sun City Center and a 55 year member of Fayetteville United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Sun City Center North and South Golf Course and a 55 year member of the Order Of Eastern Star. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Herman E.; a son, Gary H. and his wife, Joan of Fayetteville, N.Y.; a daughter, Barbara J. Bates of Manlius, N.Y.; five granddaughters; three great-grandsons; and two great-granddaughters. Friends who wish may make memorial gifts to the United Methodist Church of Sun City Center or Fayetteville, N.Y.

Holton of Leslie, Ga.; and two sisters, Mary Alice Reeves of Zephyrhills and Lena Turner of Sylvester, Ga.

JONES, William W. `Bill`, Sr., 83, passed away in his home under the care of LifePath Hospice Thursday, October 10, 2002. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years May; son, William Jr.; daughter, Carol Courson; grandson, Ryan Gregory, great-grandchildren, Catelynn and Tucker; sister Ruth Edwards. Mr. Jones served in the U.S. Army at Pearl Harbor and was stationed at Hickam Field. He was a devoted Christian who attended Trinity Presbyterian Church. A funeral service will be held Sunday, October 13, 2002 at 3 p.m. at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 14925 N. Boulevard, interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery with military honors Tuesday, October 15, 2002 at 1 p.m. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 p.m. until service time at the church. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Trinity Presbyterian Church Building Fund, American Heart Association or American Lung Association of Gulfcoast Florida.

LONGI-SCHMALZ, Joanne, 43 of Clearwater, died Oct. 6, 2002. She is survived by husband, John Schmalz; and sister, Susan Michael. Born in New York she moved to the area several years ago.

LOWERY, Sandra, 58, of Brandon, passed away on October 10, 2002. She was a Native American Teacher of spinning and weaving and a loving wife and mother. She is survived by her husband, Eric; mother, Rhea; daughters, Jacqueline, Kristina and Donna; sister, Tanya; and four grandchildren.

NORLIN, Jean Ann, 78, of Tampa, entered into heavenly rest on October 10, 2002. She was a legal assistant for a large law firm in Detroit for over 15 years. She married Charles Norlin in Detroit on November 8, 1958. She is survived by her husband of 44 years; daughters, Betty, Judy, Luci, and Lori and her husband Mike Mondor and their two sons, Andre and Robby; sister, Grace Van Antwerp and her husband Bob and their children; brother, Albert Poole and his wife Lorraine and their children. She developed Alzheimer's in 1993 and was in an assisted living facility in Daytona Beach before moving into At Home With Friends ALF in Tampa. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Jean to LifePath Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association. Memorial services will be held Monday October 14, 2002 10 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church. LBCR2421

PLYMALE, Elton D., Jr. (Hoss), 42, of Tampa, died Oct. 8, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Linda Plymale; parents, Elton Sr. and Dorothy Plymale; brother, Mark Plymale; three nieces; and one nephew. Memorial Services will be held Monday Oct. 14 at 2 p.m. at the funeral home chapel.

REDDEL, Pauline Kunkler Keith, 78, made her transition from her earthly home to her heavenly home on October 10, 2002. Pauline was born March 26, 1924 in Normal, Ill.; and is survived by ten children, Pam McElhinney, Lutz, Fla., Cliff Keith, Redwood City, Calif., Alan Keith, Superior, Colo., Douglas Keith, Bristol, Conn., Tracy Keith, Bloomington, Ill., Joni Jennings, Carlock, Ill., Jayne Ellis , Normal, Ill., Brian Keith, Castle Rock, Colo., Peggy Keith, Tampa, Fla., and Penny Fairbanks, Tampa, Fla. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Her surviving brothers and sisters are Don Kunkler, Charlottesville, Va., Bob Kunkler, Arvada, Colo., Walt Howard, Normal, Ill., Wilma Kunkler, Sterling, Hts., Mich., Linda Fasking, Arlington Hts, Ill.; a brother, Harry Kun kler; and a sister, Mabel Hartrich, preceded her in death. Pauline was born to Grace and Harry Kunkler and was primarily reared on a large grain and black Angus beef family farm near Carlock, Ill. It was an extended family with grandmother and bachelor uncle, loving, hard-working, praying, respectable Christian people, whose lives revolved around a one-room country school, a country church, and th e Town Hall. Her father was a World War I veteran and politically active, an admirer of FDR. Pauline attended and graduated from high school in Normal, Ill. She married her high school sweetheart, Cliff Keith, Jr. They enjoyed a successful business life, a wholesale bakery and welcomed ten children to their family. Their activities centered around those of the children - music, sports, Scouting, a nd church. The wholesale bakery was their livelihood. Their first daughter was a war baby while her father served his country for 30 months in WWII, U.S. Navy, Pacific Theater, 5 major battles. The other children were welcomed after the war. Mr. Keith died suddenly and unexpectedly in December of 1968. Pauline moved to Tampa, Fla. in 1973. She married Louis Reddel in 1974, a former high school cla ssmate, a WWII veteran, U.S Army, who has been her primary caretaker, a good husband and a good stepfather. He survives. Pauline was a computer enthusiast and for several years has maintained weekly, sometimes daily contact with her children, grandchildren, siblings, cousins, and friends. Pauline continued her education in Florida and worked in Civil Service positions at the University of South Fl orida, Hillsborough County Children's Services, and Tampa Postal Service, retiring in 1988 and devoting her life to volunteerism at her church, elementary school tutoring, and serving as a Guardian Ad Litem in the juvenile Justice system. She enjoyed her various volunteer jobs at her beloved University Village. Pauline and her husband spent many vacations with her children, usually at a beach resort. She was also close to the Reddel family and loved them dearly. A reunion of the Keith family was held in July, 2002. All ten children and many grandchildren were present for a week of fellowship with each other, a joyous time. A Celebration of Life will be held at Tampa Unity Church on Sunday, October 13, 2002 at 2:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to LifePath Hospice, 3010 W. Azeele Street, Tampa, FL 33609 or Tampa Unity Church, 3302 W. Horatio, Tampa, FL 33609, are accepted. Body will be cremated by Blount, Curry & Roel Carrollwood Chapel.

RHODES, Joseph,79, of Lutz, Fl. died Oct. 4th at home under LifePath Hospice after a long illness. He was a retired Navy Veteran and he leaves behind his wife Bobbie and many relatives and friends.

ROUTH, Mary C., 85, died Oct. 9, 2002. Please note service change. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Christ the King Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in the Italian Club Cemetery. She was a lifelong resident of Tampa, and a member of Ladies Auxiliary Knights of Santiago, the Italian Club, and Sons of Italy. She attended Christ the King Catholic Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas A. Routh in 1978; and is survived by her sister, Catherine `Katie` Coriarty; nephew, Paul J. Corso and his wife Jerrine `JJ`; great-nephew, Ryan Corso; great-niece, Lindsay Corso; cousins, Rosie Baretto and Katie Peterson; and Nurse and caregiver, Sonja Tang. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Visitation was held at the MacDill Chapel on Friday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the donor's favorite charity.

SCHLEMAN, Arthur, 74 of Tampa died October 10, 2002 at this home surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife Betty; sons, Richard (Marie), Robert (Debbie) and Gary all of Tampa; brothers, Jack, Leslie and Roy all of Tampa; sisters, Betty, Claudette, Annette, Sandra; grandchildren, Marissa and Christina. His hobbies included cooking, fishing and hunting especially cooking. Arthur was a US Navy Veteran, Mason Master of the Lodge, Master Plumber, member of the Scottish Rite, York Rite and a member of Northgate Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to LifePath Hospice, 3010 W. Azeele Street, Tampa, FL 33609. Memorial Services will be held 11 a.m. Oct. 19, 2002 at the Masonic Lodge on Nebraska Ave.
