JORDA, Louis D. Jr., 83, of Tampa, formerly of St. Petersburg, passed away September 21, 2002. He was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth. Louis was born in Wilmington, Delaware. He was an Air Force Staff Sergeant for 22 years and was a Pearl Harbor Survivor. After his retirement from the Air Force, Louis worked as a Media Specialist at HCC for 15 years. Louis and Elizabeth were also volunteers for the Lupus Foundation of America for 15 years. He will be missed by his family and friends, Memorial services will be held at Bay Pines in St. Petersburg. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lupus Foundation of America are welcome.

LAGOR, Patricia Helen, was born in St. John's Newfoundland and passed away Saturday, October 12, 2002 in Tampa, Florida. Her time of loving and giving on this earth is now complete. God has called her home to rest and watch all of us from above. She is a loving wife, nurturing mother of five, `Ms. Pat` (grandmother) to thirteen and `Ms. Pat` (great-grandmother) to one. She is survived by her best friend, soul mate and husband of 49 years, Raymond; three sons, Frank and wife Jean, Bill and wife Teresa, and Ray; two daughters, Kate Thibault and husband Chuck, Tammy Orselli and husband Tim, grandchildren Bill, Kristen, Erin, Frank Jr., Stephen, Patrick, Lauren, Raymond, Autumn, Max, Alex, Keely, Timmy and great-grandchild Emma. She also leaves behind her brother Frank and sisters Joan and Marie. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday 10 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church. The family will receive friends Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

LYNADY, Garard Joseph, 83, of Sun City center, died suddenly at home on October 9, 2002. Survived by his wife, Eileen and a loving family.

MACOMBER, Frederick E., Jr., `Mac`, 73, of Largo, Died Oct. 12, 2002. Survived by one son; three daughters; two sisters; one half-sister; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

MAYNARD, Helen Moyer, 89, of Gibsonton, past away October 13, 2002. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Rae Walter; brother, William Frank and wife, Mary; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren, all of Pa. She was a member of DeSoto #201 Order of Eastern Star, the 100 Club of Gibsonton and the Riverview Moose #158. In honor of her wishes no service will be conducted.

NUNEZ, George Tierso Duval, Major, (retired CPA), 92, died October 12, 2002. Mr. Nunez was born in St. Andrews, Florida, December 23,1909. He graduated from Bay High School in Panama City and the University of Florida. After teaching accounting at UF for one year, he joined the staff of the State Auditing Department. During World War II, Mr. Nunez served in North Africa and Italy with the US A rmy. Mr. Nunez continued to serve with the State Auditing Department after the war. He was assigned to Polk and Hardee Counties. In 1948, he moved his family from Lakeland to Bartow, where he was active in the Rotary Club. In 1956, he retired from the State to begin his own accounting practice in Bartow. After forming the accounting firm of Nunez, Davis and Tedder, he moved back to Lakeland. He retired in 1972 from the firm, which is now known as the NCT Group CPA's, L.L.P. Mr. Nunez was a member of St. Davids Episcopal Church and past senior warden of Holy Trinity, Bartow. He married Helen Josephine Stringer of Lakeland in 1928. They had three children. Mrs. Nunez died in 1984. He then married Clarice Wrinkle of Sun City Center who died in 1997. Mr. Nunez is survived by his two sons, Geor ge Edmund Nunez of Winter Haven and Charles T. Nunez of Lakeland; seven grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to St. Davids Episcopal Church, Lakeland. A memorial service will be held at St. Davids Episcopal Church Thursday at 5:00 p.m.

PECCHIA, Patrick, age 78, of Deerfield Beach and formerly of Tampa, passed away on October 9, 2002.

PETTEWAY, Lettie Ellen, 85, of Tampa, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2002. She is survived by daughters, Caroline Vierengel and Roberta Catherine Hatton; granddaughter, Carol Ann Nisse; and five great-grandchildren. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and a member of the session for the elderly. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fitz Conner officiating in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

REID, JR., William, 81, of Sebring, died Oct. 13, 2002. He is survived by two step-sons; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

RINGELSPAUGH, Mary (Kate), 79, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2002, at home in Dade City under the loving care of her family and Hernando-Pasco Hospice. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Gerald, on November 2, 2001. Mary was born in Piqua, Ohio, on June 16, 1923. She was the youngest of four children of Rose and Joe Kiser. Mary came to Florida in 1951 with her husband and daughters. She was retired from Hillsborough County Schools. She was active for many years in the American Legion Auxiliary, having served as president, secretary, and the head of numerous charitable functions. She is survived by four daughters, Sharon Jones (Jay) of Dade City, Cathy Timpano (Sam) of Sanford, Linda Smith (Larry) of Dade City, and Nancy Johnson (Alan) of St. Petersburg; seventeen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; loving nieces, nephews, cousins and 94 year old brother-in-law, Kenneth Ringelspaugh of Tampa. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, Oct. 20, 2002 at 2 p.m. at Oakley Funeral Home in Dade City, Fla. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hernando-Pasco Hospice in her memory.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan Shiver and husband Clarence; son, Richard Rowden and wife Wanda; grandchildren, Cindy Colding, Robert Shiver, Jennifer Shiver, Sherri Tustison, and Michele Ellenburg; and five great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2002 at 4:00 p.m. in Myrtle Hill Memorial Park.

SCHMID, Margaret F., 97, of Lakeland, died Oct. 11, 2002. She is survived by one son, George C. Schmid, Orlando, Fla.; and two grandchildren.

STALLINGS, Maudell, 95, of Lutz passed away Friday, October 11, 2002. She was preceded in death by Royce O. Stallings Sr., her husband of 72 years. She is greatly loved by her children, Betty S. Harvey, Joy Hamilton, Royce O. Stallings Jr., Gail Smith, Catherine Manuele and Robin Andrews; eleven grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter. A native of Collins, Georgia, she moved to Tampa in 1925. She was co-owner of Jack's Letter and Mail Advertising Service from 1927 to 1975. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tampa, and later a member of Myrtle Lake Baptist Church of Lutz, Florida. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. STRICKLEN, Jack, 77, of Tarpon Springs, died Oct. 13, 2002. Survived by wife, Imojean; sons, John of New Port Richey, Scott of Ohio and Dan of Ill.; and four grandchildren.

TOLEDO, Glenn Edward, Jr., age 27, of Tampa, passed away October 13, 2002. A native and lifelong resident of Tampa, Glenn is survived by his loving parents, Glenn and Cindy Toledo; paternal grandmother, Consuelo Toledo; maternal grandparents, Marilyn Jane and Charles Richard Powers; brother, Charles Richard Toledo; sister, Tiffany Lee Toledo; aunt, Sandra Jane Crowder; cousin, Ryan Gaither Crowder; uncle, George Toledo, Jr.; and cousin, George Toledo, III. Glenn Edward, you will always be in our hearts and you will never be forgotten. A Funeral Mass will be offered for the repose of his soul Thursday morning at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church with interment to follow in a local cemetery. VILLEMAIRE, Leo, 81, of Ruskin, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2002. A native of Ruskin, he spent time in the Army Air Corps, was a family farmer, and later a chiropractor, teacher, and real estate agent. He is survived by brothers, Lucien of Sun City Center, Rev. Arthur, John Julian, and Armand of Ruskin and Alfred of Sherbrook of Canada; sisters, Therese LaRocque of Swanton, Vermont and Yvonne Kiraly of Montreal Canada; and a large extended family. Services will be held on Wednesday, October 16 at 10 a.m. at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.

WASER, Patricia L., 75, of Plant City, left us October 12, 2002. She was the loving wife of Herb Waser for the past 53 years; devoted mother of six children; and grandmother to 11 grandchildren. She was born in St. Louis, Mo. and was a resident of Florida for the past 41 years. A 9:00 a.m. Memorial Service will be celebrated Saturday, October 19, 2002 at St. Clements Catholic Church, 1104 Alexander Street. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Clement Catholic School will be appreciated.

WHITTLE, Willie `Grace`,of Plant City, died October 11, 2002 after an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Weaver; her twelve siblings and her husband, G.A. Whittle. She is survived by her grandson, Randy Weaver; her great-grandchildren, Caitlyn and Jimmy Weaver; and 35 nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Mrs. Whittle will be buried at Mt. Enon Cemetery on Tuesday, October 15, at 2 p.m.

WIDSTEEN, Elizabeth `Tinka`, 63 of New Port Richey, died October 11, 2002 at North Bay Hospital. Tinka was raised in Topeka, Kansas, then moved to Tampa where she lived and worked in many creative and giving endeavors until retiring to New Port Richey. She was a very loving and caring person who knew no strangers. She is survived by her companion of 25 years, Susan K. Heise; sister Francey Oliva; brother-in-law, Angel Oliva; two stepsisters, Nancy Combest of Kansas, Eileen Porborsky of Colorado; and a stepbrother, James Corn of California. Campbell, Ky.; two grandchildren, Shannon and Heidi. A native of Shamokin, Pa. she lived in the Brandon area since 1972 coming from Philadelphia, Pa. She was a member of Nativity Catholic Church. Funeral services will be held at Stowers Brandon Chapel Thursday, Oct. 17, 2002, 11 a.m. The family will receive friends Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2002, 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
