NEUMAIER, Alice J., 75 died October 12, 2002. Born to Lottie and Oral J. Allen on April 28, 1928 in Malcolm, Nebraska. Alice graduated from Malcolm High School in 1944 and the University of Nebraska in 1948. She taught physical education in the Rapid City School System in Rapid City, South Dakota. In October 1950 she met Richard (Dick) Neumaier, who was stationed at Elsworth Air Force Base. They were married at the First Methodist Church in Rapid City on June 30, 1951 and had been married over 51 years when she passed away. Alice is survived by her loving husband, Richard (Dick) Neumaier; daughters, Elizabeth Neumaier-Smith of Omaha, Nebraska and Laura Ryan of Broomfield, Colorado; son, Mark Neumaier of Tampa; grandchildren, Amber, Sterling, David and Mike (USN). Alice is also survived by three brothers, Ralph Allen of Santa Ana, California, Arnold Allen of Fresno, California, and Earl Allen of Lincoln, Nebraska. A memorial service will be held at the Forest Hills United Methodist Church at Linebaugh and North Boulevard on Sunday, October 20, 2002 at 2 p.m., with a reception to follow at the church fellowship hall. A family memorial service is planned later in Malcolm, Nebraska. Contributions may be made to the Forest Hills United Methodist Women or to Metropolitan Ministries in lieu of flowers.

PROCCHI, Julius C., 83, of Plant City, died October 16, 2002. He is survived by his daughters, Lillian Richter and her husband, LaRue and Karen Gamble and her husband, Jim; brother, Daniel Procchi, all of Plant City; sisters, Celia Miley of Plant City and Evelyn Davis of Lookout Mt., Tenn.; grandchildren, Joe Richter, Mark and his wife, Kelly Richter and Alan Richter; and great-granddaughter, Savannah Richter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marguerite Procchi. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 21, 2002 at 9:00 a.m. in Haught Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday between 3-5:00 p.m. with a liturgy service at 4:00 p.m. The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Florida Sheriffs Boys Ranch. REESE, Ana Valdes, 98, of Tampa, passed away Oct. 12, 2002. Survived by 10 children; and grandchildren. Service will be Oct. 19, 1 p.m. at New First Union Baptist Church.

RINGELSPAUGH, Mary (Kate), 79, passed away October 10, 2002, at home in Dade City. She is survived by four daughters; and other loving family members. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, Oct. 20, 2002 at 2 p.m. at Oakley Funeral Home in Dade City, Fla. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hernando-Pasco Hospice in her memory.

SCHLEMAN, Arthur, 74, of Tampa died Oct. 10, 2002. He is survived by his loving family. Memorial Services will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, 2002 at the Masonic Lodge, 5011 N. Nebraska Ave., Tampa.

SCIONTI, Claudette Nieves Lucia Manteiga, age 66, our beautiful wife and mother, was called by our Lord on Tuesday, October, 15, 2002, after a three and a half year battle with peritoneal cancer. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, A.J. `Tony` Scionti; her children, Cathy and Paul Messina, Lisa Vaughn, Richard and Dee Scionti, A.J. Jr. and Dawn Scionti; her ten grandchildren, Paul Michael, Amy, Anthony Joseph, Megan, Catriana, Gianna, Joshua, Richard Jr., Tessa and Anthony Joe III; her sisters, Ramona Manteiga, Sandra Scionti and Jeane Emery; her brother, Joe Scionti, Jr.; her many nieces, nephews and cousins; and her beloved friend, Jeane Espinola. Pallbearers are Joe Scionti, Jr., Patrick Manteiga, Paul Messina Sr., Paul Messina Jr., Anthony Messina, Joe Scionti III, James Scionti, and Christopher Brent. Honorary pallbearers are Michael David Scionti, Michael Joseph Scionti, Robert Scionti, Robert Emery, Jo Jo Scionti, Jay Stark, Rubin Espinola, Sam Salemi, Buster Mirabella, Frank Mirabella and Elwood North. We are comforted by the fact that she was greeted in heaven by her father and mother, Victoriano and Ophalia Manteiga; her brothers, Roland Manteiga, Mike Sciont i and James Emery; and her cousin, Harry Farris. Visitation with the family will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 4522 S. Manhattan Ave., on Friday, October 18, 2002 at 11 a.m., followed by a Mass at 12 Noon in her honor. SHAFFER, Betty J., 75, of Tampa, previously from Pennsylvania , has relocated to her new home in heaven, Oct. 13, 2002. She attended Vineyard Church, former member of Forest Hills UMC, Tampa and Glenwood UMC of Erie, Pa. She was a member of the DAV Chapter 4. She is survived by her loving husband, Clarence; children, Sandy, Jim and Tami Shaffer, Jane and Paul Vogel, Boniedee and Kent Lare, Jane Pacy, Lindy and Dana Reynolds; 15 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; a sister; a sister-in-law, a double sister-in-law; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sons, Art and Jackie Shaffer. Memorial services to be held at the Vineyard Christian Fellowship, 4327 Gunn Hwy. Tampa, FL. 33624 on Sunday, Oct. 20, 2002, 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be given to Vineyard Church or to Alzheimer's Association.

STROTJOHANN, Horst F. Jr., 36 of Tampa, passed away October 15, 2002 in Colorado Springs, Colo. in an automobile accident. Mr. Strotjohann was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Strotjohann. Survivors include his father, Horst (Fred) Strotjohann Sr. and wife Esther (Faye) of Weeki Wachee; sister, Christine Alexander and husband Mark and there two children Sydney and Alyssa of Apopka. Mr. Strotjohann graduated from West Chicago Community High School and Iowa State University. After which he went on to become a computer engineer, establishing his own contracting company. In lieu of flowers contributions to American Heart Associations, Hills Region, PO Box 4835, Tampa, FL 33677 in memory of Mr. Strotjohann would be appreciated. Memorial services will be held Sunday 2 p.m. at Blount Curry & Roel Funeral Home West Hillsborough Chapel.

TERLIZZI, Mary M., 78, of Valrico, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2002. She is survived by her loving family.

TRAPNELL, William W. Sr., 94, a resident of Plant City, passed away October 16, 2002. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Willie `Eunice` Trapnell of Plant City; his two sons, James Charles Trapnell and William W. Trapnell, Jr., both of Plant City; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 19, 2002 at 3:30 p.m. from Hopewell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Bowles officiating. Interment will follow in Hopewell Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday evening (tonight) from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Hopewell Funeral Home.

WALDEN, Blanche B., 95, of Tampa, born in Dennison, Texas , died October 16, 2002. Survived by a son, Charles Pate and his wife, Faye of Tampa; two step-daughters, Fran Wilkinson of Cummings, Ga. and Delores Walden of Georgia; a step-son, Jim Walden of Detroit, Mich.; five sisters, Mamie Skaggs, Agnes Carbone, Irene Jenkins, Maude Gowan and Ann Robinson; and a brother, Millard Bingham, all of Louisville, Ky.; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the MacDill Avenue Chapel, with Interment to follow at Garden of Memories. The family will receive friends this evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

WARDLE, William, 63, of Tampa, died Oct. 12, 2002. Survived by sisters, Mary Wallace and Joyce King; and brothers, Thomas, Herman Jr. and Robert Wardle.

WATSON, Ramon Dean `Sonny`, 52, of Port Charlotte, died Oct. 15, 2002. Survived by his wife; a daughter; a step-son; three step-daughters; two sisters; and seven grandchildren.

ZANIBONI, Fred W., 84, passed away October 16, 2002 in Tampa, Fla. Born in North Plymouth, Mass., he moved to the Tampa area in 1978. He was employed by Arturo Fuente Cigar Co. as the Director of National Sales, and a decorated World War II Army Veteran. He is predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Roberta and his brother, Henry and survived by his daughters, Marcia Zaniboni and Aleta Manugian; sister, Marjorie Borsari; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Donations can be made to Pepperell Senior Ctr., 7 Lomar Park, Pepperell, MA 01463 or Cigar Family Charitable Foundation, P.O. Box 2030, Tampa, FL 33601. Visitation will be October 18, 2002 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with services on October 19, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. both at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home. A Memorial Service and Inurnment will be held in Mass. at a later date in November.

ATWOOD, Harry Hollis, age 84, of Oldsmar, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2002. He is survived by his beloved wife, Ann. Funeral Services will be held Monday, October 21, 11:00 a.m. at Blount Curry & Roel Funeral Home, corner W. Hillsborough and Silvermill Drive, Tampa with interment to follow at the Garden of Memories Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.

BLACKWELL, Wayne H., age 90, of Plant City, died Oct. 16, 2002. Survived by loving family. Services will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, Oct. 21 at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary, Richmond, Indiana .

BRADY, Theodora E.R., 91, passed away October 15, 2002 at Fletcher Health Care Nursing Home in Tampa, where she had resided since suffering a severe stroke in August of 2001. Theo Brady was born in Tamaroa, Illinois at home in the family's iron bed on June 10, 1911. She spent her formative years in southern Illinois. Following high school and some formal training, she taught school in the area. She married Homer Sherrill Brady, also of Tamaroa, and began a life of adventure. She lived in many parts of the United States and its territories. She had moved 52 times before settling in north Tampa in 1960. Mrs. Brady taught school in many places including Alaska, Alabama and Florida. She taught at Lake Magdalene School for a number of years and is fondly remembered by her students as a tough but fair teacher. She was a graduate of the University of Alabama. Theo Brady was a long time member of Saint Clements Episcopal Church in Tampa. She also did volunteer work with the Red Cross in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and was a Cub Scout Leader there. She enjoyed artistic endeavors and was a painter, maker of jewelry and was particularly gifted with ceramics. In 1958, Mrs. Brady was predeceased by her husband and then in 1987 by her dear friend, Homer C. LeCroy. She is survived by her son, James H.R. Brady and his family of Lopez Island, Washington ; five grandchildren; her niece, Pamela Bowen; and two nephews. Her niece was a most active care surrogate and advocate during Theodora Brady's last few years. Her remains will be interred besides those of her husband in the Tamaroa Cemetery, Tamaroa , Illinois.

BROCKLEHURST, Edwin Earl, 90, passed away Monday, October 14, 2002 at St. Joseph's Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Mildred; two sons, Charles and Harold; two daughters, Betty Crawford and Marsha Stewart; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 19, 2002 at 2 p.m. at Blount, Curry & Roel Funeral Homes interment will follow in Myrtle Hill Memorial Park.

COCHRAN, James E., 47, of Brandon, Fla. passed away Thursday, Oct. 17, 2002. Survivors include, children, Tyler and Taylor Cochran; brother, Bobby Pelt, Jr.; and step-father, Robert C. Pelt.

COLE, Richard J., 83, died on October 16, 2002 surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife, Gladys and three children. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday October 23 at 10 a.m. at the Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

DUGGAN, Carolyn, 73 died on October 16, 2002 in Tampa. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Johnson and her husband Lee of Tampa; four grandchildren, Laura and Amy Johnson, Adam and Jason Duggan; and a sister, Mary Louise Foster and her husband Jack of Sun City Center. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to a charity of your choice. Memorial services will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Lake Magdalene United Methodist Church.

GRANLUND, Cathy, 48, of Miami, died Oct. 10, 2002. She is survived by one son, Richard Kitchings; three daughters, Tina White, Danyelle (Sug) Kitchings and Nicole Granlund; her parents, Bob Granlund and Janet Booffer; four brothers; and three grandchildren. `To our loving mother, you will always be in our hearts. Your children.`

HALL, Roberta Ann, 59, of Tampa, passed away October 16, 2002. She was born in Miami, Fla. and moved to Tampa from Auburn, N.Y. 6 years ago. She is survived by three daughters, Cynthia Grim, Deanna Clinger and Melinda Boggs; son, Mark E. Talbot; sister, Linda J. Turosz; six grandchildren and one grandson on the way. Memorial Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Sunday, October 20 at the Mark III Funeral Home, 7701 W. Hillsborough with Dr. Lynn Sayne officiating.
