Colleen was an Administrative Assistant with Checkpoint Security of Tampa and a Catholic. She is survived by two sons, Stephen B. Ehlers, Jr. and Ryan D. Ehlers, both of Birmingham, Mich.; one brother, Michael P. Daly of Three Bridges, N.J.; two sisters, Erin T. Cameron of Milford, N.J. and Robin M. Menapace of Flemington, N.J.; three nephews; and two nieces.

ENGDAHL, Dennis Joseph, 58, of Margate, Florida, formerly of New Port Richey, died Tuesday, October 15, 2002 at home in Margate. He was born in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Margate from New Port Richey in 1997. He was a supervisor for an import & export company and of Catholic faith. Survivors include two daughters, Dawn Shireman and Christine Day, both of Port Richey; and three granddaughters. Visitation will be Sunday, October 20, 2002 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Dobies Funeral Home where funeral service will be Monday, October 21, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. Burial following at Grace Memorial Gardens.

ENGLISH, Gertrude S., 77, of New Port Richey, died Thursday, October 17, 2002 at home in New Port Richey. She was born in St. Paul, Minnesota and moved to New Port Richey from Bordentown, N.J. in 1977. She was a homemaker and of Catholic faith. Survivors include sons, Joseph R. English of Chesterfield, Va. and Charles W. English of Columbus, N.J.; daughter, Diane M. Mannella of Hudson; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

IBANEZ, Martha V., 90, formerly of Port Richey, Florida, died Sunday, October 13, 2002, at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Born in Dunkirk, Indiana , she was an office supervisor for the State of California. She was also a member of the Alexian Village Chapel, Chattanooga, Tenn. Survived by a son, Joseph A. Ibanez, Frankfort, Illinois: a daughter, Mary Louise Ibanez, Miami, Florida; and two grandchildren. Inurnment will be held Tuesday, October 29, 2002 at 11 a.m. at Grace Memorial Gardens, Hudson, Florida.

McALEESE, Anne Veronica, 84, of Hudson, died Wednesday October 16, 2002 at home in Hudson. She was born in Tarrytown, New York and moved to Hudson from White Plains, N.Y. in 1973. Anne was Director of Nursing for several hospitals in New York, Connecticut and Florida. She served in the US Army Women's Corps in World War II, was of Catholic faith and was a volunteer for CARES. Survivors include two nephews, Jack Cochran of Santa Ana, Calif. and Kevin McAleese, Minneapolis, Minn.; and one niece, Kelly McAleese also of, Minneapolis, Minn. A memorial service will be Tuesday, October 22, 2002 at 4:00 p.m. at Dobies Funeral Home.

McCLURE, John R., 74, of Bayonet Point, died October 15, 2002 at Regional Medical Center at Bayonet Point, Hudson. Born in Washington , D.C., he came here seven years ago from Alachua County, Fla. John was a retired high school teacher with the Dade City School System and a Protestant. John is survived by his wife, Gaye A. McClure; two daughters, Deborah Ryon of Port Richey and Pamela McClure of Bayonet Point; and one grandchild.

ROUSSEAU, Ida B., 89, passed away October 16, 2002 at East Pasco Medical Center. Mrs. Rousseau was born in Portland, Maine and moved to Zephyrhills 28 years ago from Saxton River, Vermont. She was a nurse, member of St. Elizabeth Episcopal Church in Zephyrhills and a member of the Eastern Star Alpha Chapter in Vermont. Survivors include three sons, Alfred William Rousseau of Boca Raton, Florida, Jerome Waldo Rousseau of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Ralph Thomas Rousseau of Hamden, Connecticut; one daughter, Charmien Dexter of Bellows Falls, Vermont; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Hernando-Pasco Hospice in Dade City, Florida.

WILLHITE, Ruth C., 93, of Hudson, Fla., passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2002 at Tandem Healthcare Center in Hudson. Born in Clay City, Illinois, she moved to Florida 25 years ago from Waterford, Michigan. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church in Bayonet Point, Fla. She was also a member of the Gulf Highlands and the Beacon Woods East craft groups. She is survived by her son, Paul of Hudson; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

WILLIAMS, Rickey Allen, 47, of Dade City, died Wednesday, October 16, 2002. He was born in St. Petersburg, Fla. and moved here in 1982. He worked for several years in construction as a skilled mason. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Magen Williams. Survivors include his wife, Patti; his mother, Joann Sheridan of St. Petersburg; three sons, Keith, Shawn and Shane, all of Dade City; daughter, Richelle Williams of Dade City; two brothers, Larry and Kevin, both of Pinellas Park; sister, Sherry Williams of Dade City; and four grandchildren, Cody, Colton, Rickie and Chelsea Williams, all of Dade City. Family will receive friends Sunday, October 20, 2002 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, October 21, 2002 with Pastor John Chesser, at Coleman and Ferguson Funeral Home, Dade City Chapel. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens.

BLOODGOOD, John `Johnnie B`, 66, of Hudson, died Saturday, October 19, 2002 at home in Hudson. He was born in Bronx, New York and moved to Hudson from New York in 1987. He was a railroad foreman; a US Navy veteran of the Korean era; and a member of AMVETS, the American Legion, Port Richey, the VFW and the Centurian Motorcycle Club. Survivors include his wife, Carol Bloodgood of Hudson; two daughters, Helen Stapleton of Long Island, N.Y. and Nancy Tier of Hudson; brother, Bruce Bloodgood of Naples, Fla.; sister, Janice Phalan of Vermont; and seven grandchildren. Visitation is Wednesday, October 23, 2002 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Dobies Funeral Home where funeral service will be Thursday, October 24, 2002 at 10:30 a.m.

ECKROATE, Dessa Marie, 88, of Holiday, died Wednesday, October 9, 2002 at Madison Pointe Rehab & Nursing Center, New Port Richey. She was born in Spencer, West Virginia and moved to Holiday from Canton, Ohio in 1981. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Robert J. Eckroate of Holiday; daughter, Shirley Boodey of Peninsular, Ohio; and two granddaughters.

HUNT, Albert J., age 71, of Port Richey, passed away October 19, 2002 at North Bay Medical Center in New Port Richey. He was born October 16, 1931 in South Boston, Mass. and came here five years ago from Ely, Nevada. He was a retired iron construction foreman. He was Catholic and served in both the Army and Navy and was a Korean War veteran. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and VFW, both in Mass. Survivors include his wife, Joan; two sons, Robert of Lawrence, Mass. and Albert Jr. of Manchester, N.H.; two daughters, Veronica Lawton of Woburn, Mass. and Linda Drayton of Ely, Nev.; three brothers, Earl, Bobby, and John; five sisters, Virginia, Roberta, Linda, Eileen and Ellen; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

LAMB, Linwood, 71, of New Port Richey, passed away October 19, 2002 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Center in New Port Richey. He was born February 19, 1931 in Bealington, Va. and came here 28 years ago from Albany, N.Y. He was a Christian. He worked for the Suncoast Shopper and retired from the St. Petersburg Times. Survivors include his wife, Mary; a son, Linwood Jr. of Atlanta, Ga.; two step-sons, Everett Decker and John Decker, both of Hudson; two daughters, Barbara Thornton of New Port Richey and Loraine Lopez of Calif.; a step-daughter, Mary Foster of New Port Richey; two sisters, Virginia I. Clark of Hopewell, VA. and Marie Marino of Strawsburg, Va.; 18 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

PIKE, Ida L. Johnston, 91, of Dade City, died Saturday October 19, 2002 in Zephyrhills. She was born October 22, 1910 in Sumner Center, Michigan, raised in Canada and came here in 1927. She worked for many years as a food services manager and bus driver for Rodney Cox Elementary School formerly known as Dade City Grammar School and was a member of Dade City Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Audrey Flicker and a son, Everette Johnston. Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Powell of Zephyrhills; a brother, `Curley` Ray of Canada; seven grandchildren, Cheryl Shanaberger, Edward Flicker, Lori Love, Dorothy Mailer, Linda Wells, Kathy Combs and Tami Smith; and 14 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Tuesday (tonight) from 6-8 p.m. at Coleman and Ferguson Funeral Home, Dade City. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2002 at the Coleman and Ferguson Funeral Home, Dade City Chapel with David West, Bill Compton and Larry Cox officiating.

SCHUMAN, Richard A., 64, of Port Richey, died Sunday, October 20, 2002 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Center, New Port Richey. He was born in Detroit, Michigan and moved to Port Richey from Brighton, Mich. in 1986. He was a mechanic. Survivors include his son, Richard Schuman of Michigan; daughters, Deanne Cossick, Karen Ehgotz, Darlene Schuman, and Joyce Schuman, all of Michigan; brother, Ronald Schuman of Michigan; sisters, Margaret Parsons and Lucille Schuman, both of Michigan; and seven grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 22, 2002 from 12-3 p.m. at Dobies Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Michigan.

SIGETICH, Adeline A., 84, of Tampa, passed away on October 17, 2002 at Madison Pointe Nursing Center in New Port Richey. She moved to Tampa from her native Milwaukee, Wis., after retiring from Milwaukee Electric Tool. She is survived by one granddaughter, Penny Pedersen of Milwaukee; and three great-grandchildren, Monica, Nicole, and Jeremy Skinkis.

WIRTH, Lois L., 81, passed away October 20, 2002 at East Pasco Medical Center. Mrs. Wirth was born in Stockton, Iowa and moved to Zephyrhills 21 years ago from Durant, Iowa. She was a bookkeeper, a member of Chancey Road Christian Church in Zephyrhills, Order of the Eastern Star of Wilton, Iowa and Royal Neighbors Club, Sunbury, Iowa. Survivors include her husband, Sylvester Wirth of Zephyrhills; one son, Gary Wirth of Columbus, Indiana ; one daughter, Gloria Zentic of Milan, Illinois; one brother, Ralph Thoene of Durant, Iowa; one sister, Florence Hutchens of Tipton, Iowa; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2002 at Chancey Road Christian Church. Arrangements made by Kelly Memorial Funeral Home.

ALLEN, John H., 72, passed away on October 21, 2002, in Thonotosassa. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, who served his country during the Korean Conflict. He was a Christian, and was preceded in death by his son, Mike. He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Louise Allen; sons, John and James of Thonotosassa, Steve of Tampa, Mark of Polk City, and Terry Allen and his wife, Cindy of Brandon; daughters, Linda Thompson of Orlando, Cindy Phetteplace of Tampa, Sherry McCrae and husband, Pat of Seffner and Becky Mann of Riverview; 26 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on October 23, 2002 from 9-10 a.m. with services to follow at 10 a.m., both at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home. He will be loved and remembered by all. ALLEN, Willie Mae, 91, passed away at her home in Tampa on October 20, 2002. Born in Chamblee, Ga., she moved to this area in 1940. She was a homemaker and a member of the Duluth, Ga. U.M.C. She is survived by her son, H. Earl Allen; daughters, Doris Brittain, Frances Tootle and Carolyn Hagin; brother, Harry Lowe and wife, Elise; son-in-law, Lawrence Sillin; sisters-in-law, Loye Mae Lowe, Lassie Martin and Margaret Jones; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be October 23, 2002 at 3 p.m. with services to follow at 4 p.m., both at Hillsboro Memorial F.H.

BARTUSZEVIGE, Vetus P. of Ruskin, Fla. and Durand, Mich., age 81, died Wednesday, October 9, 2002 at the South Bay Hospital, Sun City, Fla. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 26, 2002 at the Streeter Funeral Home, Byron, Mich. with Rev. Fred Finzer officiating. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be at the funeral home Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial donations may be made to the Byron Community Scholarship Fund. Vetus was born in Bay City, Mich. on June 12, 1921 the son of Stanley and Tillie (DuBala) Bartuszevige. He married Velma Vivian Miller in Port Huron, Mich. on August 18, 1940. He has lived in the Durand and Byron area since 1965. Vetus served in the Merchant Marines during World War II in Europe and the South Pacific. He was a member of the Ruskin FOE Aerie #0600 and the Moose Lodge of Bradenton, Fla., Chapter #1072. Vetus was a maintenance foreman at General Motors, Parts Division, Swartz Creek, retiring in 1985 after about 30 years of service. Surviving are his wife, Velma; son, Bart and wife, Mary Bartuszevige of Cohoctah, Mich.; daughters, Shelly and husband, Harry Lee Whitehead of Ovid, Mich. and Jill and husband, Steve Landis of Spring, Texas ; and grandchildren, Anne, Stacy and Jacob Bartuszevige, Tonya and Tony Whitehead and Sam Landis.

BRINKLEY, Mary Louise, 89, of Tampa, died Oct. 19, 2002. She is survived by her sons, Michal Murphy and Richard Grahman; daughter, Phyllis Christensen; niece, Beverly Stearns, with whom she lived, and her children, Eric Haeck and Lara White; and grandchildren, Brandy, Linsey and Clancey. She is predeceased by her brother, Everett Stearns. There will be no services per her wishes.

CANDLISH, Helen Jane, born Jan. 15, 1916, died October 16, 2002. She was born in McKeesport, Penna but lived most of her life in Michigan. She retired to Sun City Center where she volunteered for many years in the SCC library. `Your task Accomplished and the long day done, rest in peace dear friend.`
