CASTILLO, Daniel, 65, of Tampa, passed away on October 25, 2002, after a long valiant fight against Diabetes. He was a lifelong resident of Tampa and was the co-owner of Castillo Printing Company and then Castillo's Cafe in Ybor City. He was preceded in death by his parents, Flores B. and Rosa M. Castillo; and his brothers Sergio F. and Gilberto Castillo. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Yara E. (Libby) Castillo; mother-in-law, Yara Rodeheaver; a son, Daniel L. Castillo; grandchildren, Andrea M., Mary Elizabeth, Selena R. , Laura V. , Sarah C., and Daniel L. Castillo, Jr.; a daughter, Yara Lisa Stokes, and her husband, Eric Stokes; grandchildren, Yara Christina, Nicholas Barber, Sherae Stokes and Sarah Stokes; J. Oscar and Helda Rodriguez, and grandchildren, Lauren, Marilyn, and Daniel; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Graveside services will be held on Monday at 11:00AM at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens in Brandon. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 509 Florida Ave. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church of Tampa.Florida Mortuary Funeral & Cremation Services(813) 237-2900

CLINTON, Russel William `Pat`, P.E., 90, Sun City Center, Florida, left his loving and loved wife of 63 years, Frances Larrair Clinton on Oct. 11, 2002. He also leaves behind three children, George M. Clinton of Richmond, Ind., LaVonne C. Cate of Carmel, Ind., and Linda L. Ach of Indianapolis, Ind.; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; sister, Margaret Butler and Ann Mock; and nieces and nephews. He graduated in 1937 from Purdue University prior to moving to Richmond, Ind., in 1946, where he founded R.W. Clinton and Assoc., Inc, an Architectural and Engineering firm. He designed the downtown Richmond Promenade, the Richmond Municipal Building and Friends Fellowship Community, among many other structures in Indiana , Michigan and Missouri before his retirement in 1978. He held memberships at Forest Hills Country Club in Richmond, Ind., for 32 years and the Columbia Club in Indianapolis, Ind. He continued memberships in the Shriner's Scottish Rite and was a 32nd degree Mason. While attending Purdue University in 1935 he played the cornet in the Gold and Black Aces band. In 1936 he assumed leadership of the 14 member band and renamed it Pat Clinton's Swing ORchestra. Later he would play the cornet in the Murat `Piz Pat Band` during his retirement, and he continued to play in bands in Naples and Sun City Center, Fla. PAt lived an exemplary life of integrity. He was the perfect husband, father, and grandfather. He was also a true friend and gentleman. All who had the privilege and pleasure of knowing Pat, will have many fond memories of him. Entombment will be at Earlham Cemetery, Richmond, Ind. His children will hold a memorial service for the immediate family and his granddaughter Jada L. Ach will provide piano music. Memorial contributions may be made to LifePath Hospice, 3010 W. Azeele St., Tampa, FL 33609, or a charity of your choosing.

DAVIDSON, R. W., 83, of Valrico passed away Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2002. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Ethel; one stepson, Ronald Breier; one stepdaughter, Verla Blue; 16 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and a niece. A native of Benton, Tenn., he was a resident of Valrico for 44 years coming from St. Louis, Mo. Funeral services will be held at Stowers Brandon Chapel Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2002 at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends Monday, October 28, 2002 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. He was a terrific grandfather who taught many values of honesty and respect.

DeVRIES, Sean Richard, 23 years of age, passed away unexpectedly on October 25, 2002 from injuries due to an automobile accident, devastating his remaining loved ones. He will always be loved and missed. He will live in our hearts and souls forever. We love you, Sean. Sean was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan and moved to Riverview, Florida in his early years. He worked for Rooms-To-Go in Lakeland, Florida as a supervisor. He had returned to Michigan days before the accident. He leaves behind his parents, Richard and Jamee DeVries; brothers, Ryan (Susan; children, Austin and Kimberly) and Cory DeVries; maternal grandparents, Thomas and Patricia Harrison; aunts, Gayle (Scott) Schroeder, Debra (Tim) Nordyke; uncles, Roger (Melanie) DeVries and Thomas Breen; cousins, Hollie, Jenny, Callena, Jessica and Katrina. He leaves behind many relatives in Michigan; including a great-grandmother, Catherine Hough. Sean's memorial service celebrating his life will be held, Friday, November 1, 2002, 10 a.m. at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, 3504 Mt. Tabor Rd., Lakeland Florida.

McNABB, Amalia G., 72, of Tampa, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 23, 2002 at St. Joseph's Hospital. She is survived by daughters, Rene Prata and Michelle Uster; sons, Danny Poole and Salvator Iozzia; and seven grandchildren. Amalia was born in Europe and came to Tampa in 1954. Survivors include her husband, Rick Moorman; children, Calvin, Wendy, Chloe and Jasmine; parents, Donald and Helen Webb; brothers, David and Drew Webb; and sister, Dawn Waller. OVERMYER, John David, 79, passed away in his home Friday, October 25, 2002. He is survived by his brother, Alvah J. Overmyer; four nieces, Sherry Lee, Cecile Shatz, Bobbie Gonzalez, and Angela Overmyer; six nephews, Larry Poff, Jeremy Graves, AJ Overmyer, Richard Copas, Jesse Overmyer, and Jason Overmyer. PALLADINO, John Daniel, 66, died Oct. 23, 2002. He was the Assistant Academic Dean and a Professor at Florida Metropolitan University. He received his Master's Degree from the University of Florida and was an avid Gator fan. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Tampa. Predeceased by his parents, Sydney Andrew and Margaret Carey Palladino; and his brother, Joseph Phillip Palladino. Survived by daughters, Christina Gannon and Alisha Palladino; grandson, Christopher Bryon Turner; granddaughter, Shayla Gannon; brother, Thomas B. Palladino; sisters, Dolores Irvine, Martha Delgado, Alice Beckwith and Michelle Tyson; and 12 nieces and nephews, Donna Wishart, Daniel Irvine, Joseph Palladino, Florence Palladino, Ruth Lukancich, Tony Delgado, Thomas Delgado, Marianne Valentine, Terry A lmaguer, Denise Muscatell, Wendy Snow and Johnny Beckwith. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick Catholic Church with visitation 6-7 p.m. Sunday with the Wake Service at 7 p.m. at the MacDill Avenue Chapel.

A native of Greenville, S.C., he was a longtime resident of the Tampa Bay area. He was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church. PRATT, Verna Harris, 95 of Riverview passed away at her homeon Friday, October 25, 2002. She was a homemaker and the wife W.S. (Bill) Pratt for 53 years until his passing on May 21, 1982. She is survived by son, Gene Pratt; and a daughter, Marian Fox Singleton; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren. They were both Florida natives and owned and operated Pratt's Dairy on Watson Rd from 1942-1959. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2002 at 11:00AM at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 28, 2002 from 7 p.m.- 8:30 p.m. at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, 6919 Providence Rd., Riverview. Burial services will follow at Providence Cemetery.
