BLACK, Mike (Robert), age 55, of Lutz, formerly of Aurora, Illinois, passed away on October 26, 2002 with his family at his side. He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Terri (Bajt); son, Joshua; a very close family friend, Kara Walters; family pet, Halas; and many family members. He was a Navy veteran and a loyal employee of Lucent Tech for 31 years. Mike was an avid golfer and a world traveler, living life to the fullest. He leaves us with many fond memories. The family extends special thanks to doctors and nursing staff of UCH, neighbors and friends for their care and support. A time of remembrance to celebrate his life will be held Wednesday evening at 7 o'clock at the chapel of Gonzalez Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Michael Rolfe Research Foundation in memory of Mr. Black.

BROWN, Jennie Cullaro, age 88, of Tampa, passed away October 27, 2002. A native and lifelong resident of Tampa, Mrs. Brown is survived by her sisters, Angelina de Gracia, Conchita Pena and Mary Cullaro; and many loving nieces and nephews. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. and Mrs. Raul Sierra for there loving care and attention. A Funeral Mass will be offered for the repose of her soul Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. at O.L.P.H. Catholic Church, 1711 11th Ave., with the Rev. Father Thomas Stokes, S.M., Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Pallbearers include her loving nephews. The family will receive friends this evening, Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the chapel.

BUNCH, Anne B., of Statesville, N.C., passed away Oct. 25, 2002. She is the mother of John M. Bunch, Jr. and wife Kathy of Tampa. Graveside services were Monday in Statesville. CARDWELL John W., age 82, of Lakeland, died Oct. 27, 2002. Survived by wife, Annie; one daughter; one step-son; one sister; and several grandchildren.

CHAVEZ, Eufemio Armando, `Johnny`, 72, died of Leukemia on October 25, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Jill Chavez; son, John E. Chavez; daughter, Pamela S. Chavez; step-son, Mark A. Holifer and wife, Lori; step-daughter, Shelley L. Tellinghuisen and husband, Calvin; and grandchildren, Dustin A. Holifer (14), Kelsey D. Tellinghuisen (9) and Ty N. Tellinghuisen (7). A former baker at Holsum Bakery, he was also known for his love of dancing by many couples in the Tampa area. This irreplaceable man will be deeply missed by family and friends, but he has gone to a better place in heaven. An informal graveside service will be held at Orange Hill Cemetery, Thursday, October 31, 2002 at 11:00 a.m., Swilley Funeral Home.

DONNELLY, Ann, 89, of Brandon, passed away on October 26, 2002. She was a waitress, a Catholic and a loving sister, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her sisters, Dorothy Pagliughi and Wilhelmina Hainkley; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 30, 2002, from 1-2 p.m., with services to follow at 2 p.m., both at Hillsboro Memorial F.H. Interment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens.

FOSTER, Miriam T., 86, passed away Friday, October 25, 2002 in Largo. She is survived by grandchildren, William Foster, Jr. of Bushnell and Mary Brackeen of Tampa; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and daughter-in-law, Donna Foster of Largo.

GARCIA, Oscar, 76, of Plant City, died Oct. 27, 2002. Survived by his loving family. Visitation will be held on Oct. 29 from 4-8 p.m. with services Oct. 30 at 11 a.m., both at Wells Memorial Funeral Chapel.

GRANT, Jack H., Dr., 91, died Oct. 25, 2002. He was a former resident of Largo. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn W. Grant.

JEWTUSHENKO, Wasyl, 76, of Lithia, Fla. passed away Thursday, Oct. 24, 2002. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Raissa; a son, Anatoly and wife Mary; a daughter, Ludmyla and husband Keith Staddon; and two grandchildren. Services will be held at Stowers Brandon Chapel Tuesday, (today) Oct. 29, 2002 at 7 p.m. The family will receive friends two hours prior to services at the funeral home. MALDONADO, Rudolfo, 69, of Largo and former resident of Tampa, died Sunday, Oct. 27, 2002. Survivors include his loving wife, Beti Camacho Maldonado; sons, Carlos P. Maldonado of Tampa, Abelard S. Maldonado of Crystal River, Fla., and Raymond R. Maldonado of Tampa; a sister, Rose Maldonado of Tampa; brother-in-law, Carlo Camacho of Tampa; three grandchildren, Amanda, Alex and Anthony; three great-grandchildren; and his good friend Ed Maley. Mr. Maldonado was retired from Maas Brothers and attended the School Of Industrial Arts in N.Y. and Hillsborough Community College. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, B.P.O. Elks Lodge #708. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2002 at Blount, Curry & Roel Funeral Home, MacDill Avenue Chapel, 605 S. MacDill Ave. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday.

MCNENNEY, Adelfa, age 92, of Tampa passed away Friday, October 25, 2002. She was born in Key West, Florida in 1910 and moved to Tampa as a young girl. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward F. McNenney and grandson Michael L. Rodriguez. She was a past Worthy Matron for the Eastern Star Universal Lodge No. 269. Adelfa was a diligent and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her selfless acts of charity and her endless love for her family will continue to fill the hearts of those left behind. She leaves behind her loving daughter Edna L. Rodriguez, son in law Louis Rodriguez, granddaughter Michele R. Adams and husband Michael J. Adams, her grandson's widow Lina Rodriguez, great grandchildren Rachel L. Rodriguez, Natalie M. Thompson, Philip J. Thompson and Rebecca L. Rodriguez. She expired peacefully in the companionship of her family and friends. Special thanks to the loving couple who took such good care of her through the last weeks of her life, Ada Flores and Carlos Serafin. Graveside Services will be held today, October 29, 11:00 a.m. at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. Pall Bearers include; Rachel L. Rodriguez, Philip J. Thompson, Bill McDowell, Louis Rodriguez, Ralph Weichmann and Philip Licata. Honorary Pall Bearers include; Michael J. Adams, Efrin Vega, Brian Reese, Jimmy Browlee, Eddie McNenney, Donald Tillman and Art Thompson. Family requests contributions be made to Shriners Children's Hospitals, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33629, in her memory.

MORGAN, Theodore Lawton, Jr., 84, of Land O' Lakes, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2002. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Theodore Lawton, Sr. and Lottie Florence; sisters, Estelle Nonemacher and Florence Morgan. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Barbara Denson Morgan; a son, David Lewis Morgan and his wife, Cheri Robert Morgan; grandsons, Jason Jolly and Cody Lawton Morgan; a daughter, Elizabeth Morgan Hagman; granddaughter, Karen Ann Hagman; and grandson, Jeff Michael Hagman. He was born and raised in Rome, Ga., enlisted in the Navy in 1936 and served in three wars: World War II, the Korean Conflict, and Vietnam. In 1941 he joined Motor Torpedo Squadron 3, commanded by Lt. John Bulkeley of `They Were Expendable.` He was assigned to the 31 boat, under the command of Lt. Edward G. DeLong. In 1942 Commander Morgan joined the Third Battalion, Fourth Marines on Corregidor, where he was taken prisoner. He was held by the Japanese in the Philippine Islands for six months, then transported to Japan where he remained a prisoner of war until the wars' end. He was awarded the Bronze Star for his performance of duty on the harbor defenses in Cor regidor. Among his many duty assignments with the U.S. Navy, he served as commanding officer of the destroyer USS Stoddard, based in Coronado, California, and completed his 32 year career as executive officer of the Naval Ammunition Depot at Bangor, Washington , when he retired in 1968 to Land O' Lakes. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 30, from 9-11:00 a.m. at the chapel of Loyless Funeral Home, 5310 Land O' Lakes Blvd., in Land O' Lakes. Interment will follow at the Florida National Cemetery, in Bushnell, at 2:00 p.m. Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Center in Dade City, 37300 Royal Oak Lane, 33525.
LOYLESS FUNERAL HOME

NIEMI, Peter, 67, of Tampa, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2002 at home. He is survived by wife, Lena; daughters, Teri (Bill) Linderman, Dona Peters, Michele (Albert) Mata; son, Michael (Laurie) Niemi; 11 grandchildren; and loving caregiver, Judy Mitchell. He is loved and missed. Memorial Service at his home Friday at 6 p.m.

OWEN-FRITZSCHE, Mrs. Laurie Ann, age 41, a resident of Lutz, Florida passed away Friday, October 25, 2002 in Brandon, Florida. Mrs. Fritzsche was born on July 16, 1961 in Buffalo, New York. She was a regional director in the nursing home industry. Mrs. Fritzsche moved to Lutz in 2002 from Tampa. She is a graduate of UCF and attended the Tampa Unity Church in Tampa, Florida. Survivors include her husband, R. Wayne Fritzsche of Lutz; her father, Robert Owen of Winter Haven, Florida; one step-son, Benjamin Robert Fritzsche of Tampa; three step-daughters, Heather Leigh Friends of Morrisville, Pennsylvania , Allison Anne Fritzsche of Far Hills, Pennsylvania , and Kelsey Marie Fritzsche of Tampa; two brothers, Robert H. Owen of Miami, Florida, and Ronald J. Owen of Winter Haven; two sisters, Karen Marie Jeffords of Winter Haven, Florida, and Janet Ellen Daley of Plant City, Florida; five nephews, Clifford Jeffords, Ronald Owen Jr., Neil Owen, Jason Fritzsche, Johnathon Fritzsche; and two nieces, Amy Jeffords, and Stacey Daley. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Chrysalis House, 5904 South Switzer Street, Tampa, FL 33611. PITTARD, Clifford `Cliff` T., 58, of Riverview passed away Saturday, Oct. 26, 2002. Survivors include three daughters, Kellie Pittard-Levy, Kimberly Baxter and Kasey Nazare; brother, Steve; sister, Christian `Tina` Spain; and seven grandchildren.

ROADERICK, Emma Aileen , 91, of Ocala, Florida, passed away Sunday, October 27, 2002. A native of Winkler, Manitoba, Canada, she resided in Tampa and Ocala, Florida for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight H. Roaderick; and 11 brothers and sisters. Mrs. Roaderick is survived by her sons, Duane C. Roaderick of Winter Springs, Fla., Brent P. Roaderick and Brian J. Roaderick, both of Ocala, Fla.; her daughter, Marcia A. Roaderick of Fall Brook, Calif.; a sister, Lydia Enns of Winkler, Manitoba; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 29, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Collison's Howell Branch Funeral Home with Rev. Stanley Coon officiating. SMITH, Stanley R., 89, of Lutz, Fla., passed away October 27, 2002. He is survived by his granddaughter, Michele Bowman; and great-grandson, Ashton Andersch.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ann M.; a daughter, Rosemarie and her husband, Tom Hope of Valrico, Fla.; two brothers, Edward Tortoriello of Amarillo, Texas and Vito Tortorello of Kennelworth, N.J.; four sisters, Adele Palmieri of Margate, Fla., Josie Kately of Middletown, N.J., Gracie Scapicchio and Ann Boffa, both of Roselle Park, N.J.; and a grandchild, Michelle Hope. A native of Newark, N.J., he moved to the area in 1994 coming from New Jersey. Anthony was an Army veteran where he received the Purple Heart. He was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church and the D.A.V. No. 52.

WARE, Stanley M., 89, of Valrico passed away Saturday, Oct. 26, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Lula; son, Fred E. Ware and his wife, Judy of Lakeland; two daughters, Ruthanne Connell and her husband, Leroy of Lithia and Noreen Hall of Valrico; sister, Barbara Duncan of South Otselic, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A native of Baldwinville, N.Y., he has resided in the Tampa area since 1959 coming from Smyrna, N.Y. He was a stationary engineer with the City of Tampa and was of the Protestant faith. Graveside services will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2002 at New Hope Cemetery with Dr. Herstel Carter officiating.

GREENLEE, Wallace G., 78, of New Port Richey, passed away October 28, 2002 at his home. He was born May 27, 1923 in Youngstown, Ohio and came here 13 years ago from Conneaut, Ohio. He was employed by ESAB Manufacturing as a quality control inspector. He was a member of Cranesville First Methodist Church in Cranesville, Pa.; the American Legion in Conneaut; the Conneaut Boat Club; and the Moose Lodge in New Port Richey. He was a Korean War veteran having served in the Army Air Corps. Survivors include his wife, Caroline; two sons, David and Daniel, both of New Port Richey; a daughter, Dana Williams of Beaver Center, Pa.; a brother, Daniel of Newberry Springs, Calif.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. No services are planned.

Sylvia was born in Florence and moved here in 1976 from Syracuse, N.Y. She was a Elementary School Teacher in the Canastoia and Syracuse School Systems. She was a Methodist and is survived by her daughter, Eleanor Krimerman, M.D. of New Orleans, La.

LAGINESS, Maurice J., 81, passed away October 27, 2002 in Ridge Manor. He is survived by his wife, Betty Jean Laginess of Ridge Manor; step-daughter, Norma Scott of Ridge Manor; five sons, Robert Roe of Kentucky, Charles Roe, Nelson Roe, Lorne Roe and Maurice Roe all of Michigan; daughter, Marlene Roe Law of Highpoint, Fla.; and three step-sons, Robert Freeman and Thomas Freeman both of Missouri, and James Holmes of Ohio; and nine grandchildren. He was born April 22, 1921 in Montreal, Canada. Mr. Laginess, was a veteran, a Methodist, and a winter resident of 20 years from Fort Gratiot Township, Michigan.
