McCLEMENTS, Donald Robert, 85, of Dade City, died October 28, 2002. Donald was born in Detroit, Michigan, September 25, 1917. He moved to this area 20 years ago from Brooklyn, Michigan. He is survived by a daughter, Janice (Victor) Solorzano of Davis, California; son, Robert (Cheryl) McClements of Atlanta, Georgia; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 31, at 2 p.m. Friends may call prior to the service from 12-2 p.m. for visitation. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens.

STANHOUSE, Mary E., 85, of Clearwater, passed away on October 26, 2002 at Mease Countryside Hospital. Born in Oneonta, N.Y., she moved to Florida 15 years ago from Valley Forge, Pa. She was a homemaker, a member of the Heritage Methodist Church in Countryside, and a member of the Tampa Bay Miniature Enthusiasts. She is survived by two daughters, Dorene Stanhouse of Key West, Fla. and Janet Mooney of New Port Richey; and a sister, Jean Verhay of Largo. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2002 at Heritage Methodist Church Chapel in Countryside. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Southeastern Guide Dogs, Inc., 4210 77th Street East, Palmetto, FL 34221. National Cremation Society, New Port Richey, Fla.

WRIGHT, Carl Wayne, 69, of New Port Richey, passed away Monday, October, 28, 2002 at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point. He came here 18 years ago from his native, Charlotte, Michigan. He served in the US Army, Korean War and was an Auto Mechanic. His memberships include The Donald C. Michaek, VFW Post #6180, Hudson and two time Past Commander of American Legion Post #335, Hudson. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Alice A. Wright; a son, Douglas Wright of Spring Hill; two daughters, Mary Alice Wright of New Port Richey and Susan Ratajczak of Holiday; and three grandsons, Mark, James and Trevor. He was preceded in death by two sons, Mark W. and Gary A. Wright.

ALSPACH, Howard Earl, 93, of Tampa, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2002 at Bon Securs Maria Manor. A native of Delphos, Ohio, he is survived by his five sons, H. Earl Jr. and his wife, Elaine, Loren, Bryan T. and his wife, Tish, Neil A. and John L. Alspach; a sister, Ruth Brickner; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Mr. Alspach was a member of Hyde Park Presbyterian Church. He was a member of the Aberdeen Angus Association and served on the board of directors of the Equity Dairy. The family will receive friends at the Mark III Funeral Home South Tampa Chapel tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. and a funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2002 at 4 p.m. at the Hyde Park Presbyterian Church with Rev. Kenneth Schick officiating.

AYERS, Grace J., 82, of Tampa passed away on Monday, October 28, 2002 at Grand Court. A native of White Stone, Va., she is survived by her sons, Edward and his wife Rebecca of Raleigh, N.C., and Steven and his wife Kathleen of Brandon, Fla.; daughters, Candy Ayers of Tampa and Patricia Dunlap and her husband Harry of Brandon, Fla.; a brother, Wilbur Jenkins and his wife Beulah of Silver Springs, Md.; sisters-in-law, Cornelia Jenkins of Tampa and Betty Jenkins of Maryland; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Ayers was predeceased by her husband, Edward Charles Ayers. She was a member of the Ballast Point Baptist Church and Bayshore Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the Mark III Funeral Home South Tampa Chapel on Saturday, November 2, 2002 from 6 to 8 p.m. She will be buried with her husband in Arlington National Cemetery November 12, 2002 at 2 p.m.

BROWN, James R., 54, of Tampa, died Oct. 28, 2002. Survived by his companion; his mother; one son; two daughters; one brother; three sisters; and four grandchildren.

CHAVEZ, Eufemio Armando, `Johnny`, 72, died of Leukemia on October 25, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Jill Chavez; son, John E. Chavez; daughter, Pamela S. Chavez; step-son, Mark A. Holifer and wife, Lori; step-daughter, Shelley L. Tellinghuisen and husband, Calvin; and grandchildren, Dustin A. Holifer (14), Kelsey D. Tellinghuisen (9) and Ty N. Tellinghuisen (7). A former baker at Holsum Bakery, he was also known for his love of dancing by many couples in the Tampa area. This irreplaceable man will be deeply missed by family and friends, but he has gone to a better place in heaven. An informal graveside service will be held at Orange Hill Cemetery, Thursday, October 31, 2002 at 11:00 a.m., Swilley Funeral Home.

DUBOIS, Walter J., 67, longtime resident of Tampa, passed away Sunday, October 27, 2002 at University Community Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife, Jacinta; four sons, George Joseph, Walter Jeremiah Jr., William Robert, and Michael Roland; three daughters, Jeanne-Claire, Ruth Ann, and Jessica Lee; seven grandchildren, George Jr., Cory, Carla, William Jr., William, Danielle, and Jackson; and one brother, George Ferdinand Jr. He was on the Board of Advisors at Jesus of Nazareth Cathedral. Mr. Du Bois was a veteran of the US Army and served during the Korean Conflict. A memorial service will be held Sunday, November 3, 2002 at 11 a.m. at Jesus of Nazareth Cathedral, 14322 North Boulevard, Tampa.

GRAINGER, James Riley, 67, of Ruskin, Fla., formerly of Naples, Fla., went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 28, 2002. He worked as a farm supervisor for A. Duda and Sons of Oviedo, Fla., and as a farm manager for Sandland Farms of LaBelle, Fla. He served in the United States Army as a Staff Sergeant and attended Manatee Community College. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Ruskin, Fla., as his health permitted. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Barbara Ann Grainger; children, James R. Grainger, II (Debe) of Bradenton, Fla., Mary Ann Millar (George) of Miami, Fla., Robert E. Grainger (Barb) of Bradenton, Fla., John L. Grainger (Kimberly) of Pensacola, Fla., and Mitch Grainger (Stephanie) of Bradenton, Fla.; two sisters, Betty Lou Brown of Georgia and Mary C. Grainger of Belle Glade, Fla.; a brother, Cecil Jack Grainger of Naples, Fla.; and 13 grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at the First Baptist Church of Ruskin, 820 College Avenue West, Ruskin, Fla., at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 30, 2002 with Rev Barry Rumsey and Rev David See officiating. Burial will follow in Ruskin Memorial Park in Ruskin, Fla. HANES, Deborah Kay, 53, of Tampa, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2002 at her home. Survivors include her mother, Hazel Hanes of Toledo, Ohio; her brother, Kenneth J. Hanes and his wife, Betty of Toledo, Ohio; her sister, Judith A. Hanes of Ottawa Lake, Mich.; and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind an extended family and many friends by whom she will be lovingly remembered. Deborah touched the lives of all who knew her. She was a valued member of the advertising business community for many years. The family will receive friends from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, October 31, 2002 at Blount, Curry & Roel Funeral Home, 605 S. MacDill Ave., with a celebration of life service beginning at 7:30 p.m.

She is survived by her sons, Larry Hancock, San Jose, Calif., and Benjamin Johns, Riverview; four brothers, Gene Simpson, Riverview, Edgar Simpson, Orlando, Allen Simpson, Lakeland and Robert Simpson, Bay Minette, Ala.; five sisters, Jackie Wilson, Brandon, Delores Lee, Bay Minette, Ala., Jenell Ryals, Orlando, Mary Lou McGuffee, Winter Gardens and Betty Jo Combs, Houston, Texas . MENGEL, Dorothy Bolt, of Lakeland, died October 26, 2002 at the age of 77. She is survived by two sons; one daughter; two sisters; and two grandchildren.

MUSICK, Josephine T., 55, passed away Monday, October 28, 2002 at University Community Hospital. Born in Bridgeport, Conn., she moved to Tampa in 1977. She is survived by her loving husband of 15 years, Donald R. Musick Sr.; six children, Ernie Bouchard and wife, Nicole, Jennifer Bahloul, Clint Musick and wife, Kim, Clay Musick, Cari Musick, and Donald R. Musick Jr.; and seven grandchildren, Mark A. Bouchard, Katelyn V. Bouchard, Y. Alexander Bahloul, Gabriella F. Bahloul, Alexandria C. Musick, Justin M. Musick and Madison R. Musick. Mrs. Musick was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 30, 2002 at 8 p.m. at Blount, Curry and Roel Funeral Homes, 3702 W. Bearss Ave. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 p.m. until service time.

OSBORN, Lorna Maney Davison, 75, of Brandon, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2002. A native of Cohoes, N.Y., she is survived by her daughters, Melissa A. Davison and Deborah D. Niezgoda and her husband, David W. Niezgoda; granddaughter, Heather Jane Niezgoda; brother, Gerald M. Maney and his wife, Deloras; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held in New York State at a later date.

PARDO, Frank Jr., 68, of Lutz, passed away Sunday, October, 27, 2002. He was the founder of A.P. Quality Produce of Tampa. He was a native of Tampa. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Angie; his four children, Tom and his wife Peggy, Frank and his fiancee Mildred, Troy, Bethann and her husband Al; his grandchildren, Austin, Lindsay, Jesse, Bryanna and A. J. He is also survived by his brother and sisters, Jimmy, Francis, Ann and Theresa and all other family members. Per his request, the family would prefer all contributions to be made to Hospice of North Tampa.

PENUEL, Kenneth M., 87, went to join the Lord on Saturday, October 26, 2002 at Morton Plant Hospital. Born in Christina, Tenn., he has lived in Florida since the 1930's. He was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for 36 years and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Willie Mae Penuel; a daughter, Robin L. Trammell of Ft. Worth, Texas ; two grandchildren, Christine L. and Benjamin L. Trammell III; a son, Larry A. Penuel of Tampa; a niece by marriage, Ardeth Arnold of Clearwater; and two nephews, Cameron Warner and Kent Warner of Jacksonville, Fla. He is being laid to rest at Bay Pines National Cemetery. Family memorial service at Highland Terrace Retirement Center, Clearwater.

PEREZ, Alberto, 88, of Tampa passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2002. He is survived by a son, Stevie Perez; nieces, Anicia Lofton, Rena Kopp and Louise Bolliger; and great-niece, Carolyn Payne.

POTENZA, Myriam, 52, of Tarpon Springs, died Oct. 26, 2002. Survived by mother, Bertilda Manjarres; brothers, Leonard and Alberto; sister, Graciela; and five nephews.
