SHIFLETT, Richard `Dick`, Jr., 54, of Plant City, died October 28, 2002. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Ann; son, Christopher and wife, Angela of Dover; daughter, Angela of Plant City; mother and step-father, Inez and Don Pritchard of Plant City; brother, Daryl and wife, Belinda of Plant City; step-brother, Jerry and wife, Margo Pritchard of Maryland; sisters, Donna and husband, Don Livingood of Plant City and Debbie and husband, David Crosby of Plant City; step-sister, Delores and husband, Dave Howard of Maryland; and grandchildren, Tayler Nicole, Madison Michele, and Mikenzie Ann. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard G. Shiflett Sr. Dick was the General Manager and announcer for WTWB Radio owned by Carpenter Home Church, Sportscaster for the Auburndale Football Team where he was known as `The Voice of the Bloodhounds`, and a member of the Plant City Civitan Club. He started his career in radio at WPLA while he was in high school and employed there for 24 years where he did play by play for the Plant City Raiders Basketball and football teams. Dick was well known in Gospel Music. He was awarded the 2000 Orange Blossom Country Music Association Gospel Music DJ of the Year award, and the 2002 Gospel Post DJ of the year award. He served on the board that formed the Dolphins Football League and the Little Lads Basketball Program. He was past president of P.C. Raiders Booster program, member of East Hillsborough Historical Society and announcer for Pioneer Days for several years. He also announced several events at the Florida Strawberry Festival through the years. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church of Plant City. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. Haught Funeral Home, 717-9300.

TOLEDO, Faustino, age 89, of Lakeland, died Oct. 28, 2002. Survived by one daughter; one brother; one sister; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

TUZZOLINO, Joseph (Joe), 88, of Wesley Chapel, passed away October 28, 2002 in Tampa. Survivors include his sisters, Lily Ferlita and Diana Shorey; two step-children; Dennis Perez and Judy Reys; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Mr. Tuzzolino was a native and lifelong resident of Florida. He was a World War II veteran and worked at St. Joseph Hospital. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Habana Health Care Center and LifePath Hospice of Tampa. In lieu of flowers contributions to LifePath Hospice, 3010 W. Azeele St., Tampa, FL 33609 in memory of Mr. Tuzzolino would be appreciated. Pallbearers include Vicent Ferlita, John Ferlita, Stan Shorey, Dennis Perez, Sam Ficarrotta and James Spencer. Funeral services will be held Thursday 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Entombment will follow at Garden of Memory Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral chapel.

VASQUEZ, Arnold Victoria, 81, of Lakeland, formerly of Tampa, died Oct. 27, 2002. Survived by her husband, Antonio; two daughters; two sisters; four grandchildren.

VICK, David M., 55, of Lutz died Sunday, Oct. 27, 2002. Survived by his wife, Linda; daughter, Bridgette; son, Maynard; parents, A. M. and Oveida Vick; and brother, Johnny Vick. He was a member of Bethel Tabernacle.

WEISE, Frank Earl, Jr., 83, of Vero Beach, died October 26, 2002 at Palm Garden of Vero Beach after a prolonged illness. He was born June 25, 1919 in Bridgeville, Pa., and moved to Vero Beach four years ago, from Belleair, Fla. Mr. Weise graduated from Lehigh University with a degree in Metallurgical Engineering. His business career spanned almost 50 years in the engineering and steel industry. From 1941-1943 he was with Bethleham Steel Co. in Williamsport, Pa.; from 1949-1963, Mr. Weise was Vice President of Operations for Detroit Steel Corp. in Portsmouth, Ohio.; from 1963-1969, he was Vice President of Engineering and Construction for Koppers Co. in Pittsburgh, Pa.; and from 1969-1988, Mr. Weise was with Florida Steel, Tampa, Fla. where he remained until his retirement in 1988 as President and Chief Operating Officer. He was a Director of Florida Steel Corp., Ameritust and Bricmont and Associates. Mr. Weise was a member of Phi Delta Theta, past president of the Portsmouth Jaycees and past Vice President of the Ohio Jaycees. He was both a York Rite and Scottish Rite Mason, past Illustrious Master and Priest of the York Rite. Mr. Weise spent many years as a volunteer for the B oy Scouts. He was also active in the United Way, Kiwanis and Rotary. He was a member of the Belleview Biltmore Country Club in Belleair, Fla. , a member of the Innsbrooke Resort and Golf Club and the Oak Harbor Club in Vero Beach. Mr. Weise was a member of the Community Church-United Church of Christ, Vero Beach, Fla. Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Marian Hagerman Weise of Vero Beach; son, Frank E. Weise, III of Vero Beach and Haverford, Pa.; daughters, Pamela Weise Hinds of Washington , D.C. and Kathryn Weise Mason of Edmonds, Wash.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A memorial celebration will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 27, 2002 at Sommerset House in Oak Harbor, Vero Beach, Fla. Friends may make contributions to VNA Hospice of Indian River County, 1111 36th St., Vero Beach, FL 32960 in memory of Mr. Weise. Arrangements are under the direction of Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach.

WHITAKER, Janice `Jan` H., 65, passed away Monday, October 28, 2002 at home. Born in Cincinnati, she moved here 28 years ago. She was Executive Director of the Temple Terrace Chamber of Commerce where she received the Lifetime Achievement Award. She is survived by four daughters, Julie Mauch of Atlanta, Jackie Ward and Kathy Whitaker both of Tampa, and Donna Washington of Cleveland; three sons, Tom of Greensboro, N.C., David and Chris both of Tampa; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Oct. 30, from 5-8 p.m. at C.E. Prevatt Funeral Home in Temple Terrace. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Corpus Christi Catholic Church on Thursday, October 31, at 10 a.m. with Father Tom Glackin and Father Waters, celebrants. WILLIAMS, Jefferson, Jr., 80, of Turkey Creek, went home to be with his Lord, October 28, 2002. Born in Georgia, he was a life long resident of Hillsborough County. He was a Christian and a member of the First Baptist Church of Turkey Creek. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, Mr. Williams served his country during World War II. He retired from the Seaboard Coastline Railroad after 42 years. He was active in the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and served in the positions of Local Chairman and Chief Engineer for a number of years. Mr. Williams is preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia William-Herring. He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Ohnie Williams; a daughter, Debra William Dambly of Plant City; his sister, Doris Leary of Sanibel, Fla.; grandchildren, Danice Talbert, Eddie Herring, Jeff and Lindsey Dambly; and great-grandchildren, Daniel and Allison Talbert. Visitation will be October 31, 2002 at 1 p.m. with services following at 2 p.m. at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home.

ARRINGTON, Jodi Rae, 40, of Wesley Chapel, passed away October 26, 2002 in Wesley Chapel. Survived by her husband, Mike Arrington; and three sons, Zack Arrington, Joshua Arrington and Kenneth Arrington, all of Wesley Chapel. Born August 20, 1962 in Whitman, Massachusetts. She was a Baptist and came to the Wesley Chapel area in 1995 from St. Petersburg.

AUGELLO, Thomas Michael, 87, of Zephyrhills, passed away October 28, 2002 in Zephyrhills. He is survived by his wife, Natalie Augello of Zephyrhills; a son, Gary D. Logan of Dade City; a daughter, Diane A. Reimer of Toledo, Ohio; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and a sister, Sally Augello. He is predeceased by three brothers, Joe Augello, James Augello and Michael Augello. Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, November 2, 2002 at the Shepherd Of The Hills Lutheran Church, with Rev. Gary Logan officiating. Mr. Augello was born May 7, 1915 in Buffalo, N.Y. He was a member of Local 9 of the Buffalo, N.Y. Carpenters Union, and a Professional Musician. He played in many bands of the `Big Band Era`, and he was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church. He came to the Zephryhills area one and a half years ago from Tavares, Fla. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hernando-Pasco Hospice or to the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church.

BOOTH, Clifford T., 85, of New Port Richey, died Tuesday, October 29, 2002 at home in New Port Richey. He was born in West Clarksville, New York and moved here from Cuba, N.Y. in 1978. He retired as an accountant. He was a member of the United Church of Christ, Mason, Scottish Rites, Shriner and former member of Tarpon Springs Power Squadron. Survivors include companion, Jean Haskins of New Port Richey; two sons, W. Thomas Booth of Mulberry and Stephen Booth of New Port Richey; daughter, Kay B. Wright of Port Richey; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

ELLOR, Richard, 87, of Zephyrhills, died Wednesday, October 30, 2002 at Pasco Regional Medical Center in Dade City. A native of New Jersey, he moved to Florida in 1971 and to Zephyrhills in 1995 from Lehigh Acres, Fla. He was a retired Transportation Superintendent for Sun Oil Company and was a member of the Dade City Assembly of God Church. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Earlene; and three step-children, Charles Sprague of Good Hope, Alabama, Donald Sprague of Atlantic City, New Jersey and Joan Cabot of Zephyrhills.

He is survived by his parents, Ronald P. and Debbie Gervasi; a sister, Brittany; paternal grandfather, Donald Gervasi of Holiday; paternal grandmother, Lorraine Craiglow of West Seneca, N.Y.; maternal grandparents, Charles W. and Shirley L. Roberts of Melbourne, Fla.; paternal great-grandmother, Irene Stallone of Tarpon Springs; paternal great-grandparents, Robert and Rita Wisniewski of West Seneca, N.Y.; maternal great-grandmother, Rose A. Roberts of Coral Springs, Fla.; maternal great-grandparents, Austin A. and Mary J. Straight of Palm Harbor, Fla. GRAY, John , 81, of Holiday, died Wednesday, October 30, 2002 in New Port Richey. He was born in West Milford, New Jersey and moved here from West Paterson, N.J. in 1981. He retired as the Front-end Manager/Cashier for the Path Mark Grocery Stores in Parsippany, N.J. after 20 plus years of service. He was a US Army veteran of World War II, of Lutheran faith and a 60 year member and past Commander of American Legion Post #97 in Wood Ridge, N.J. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Lorraine M. Gray of Holiday, Fla.

HOOD, William H., 72, of Zephyrhills died Saturday, October 26, 2002 at East Pasco Medical Center. Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, he moved to this area five years ago from Virginia. He was an auto worker in the automotive manufacturing industry, a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, a Mason in Lafayette Lodge #111 in Baltimore, Md., a member of the Moose in Zephyrhills, Fla., a member of the Eagles Post #3752 in Zephyrhills and a member of AM Vets Post #550 in Zephyrhills. He is survived by a brother, Morris Hood of Matthews, N.C.; and one sister, Gloria Marsh of Charlotte, N.C.

O'NEIL, Earl George, 86, a resident of Zephyrhills passed away Monday, October 28, 2002 at his residence. Mr. O'Neil was a native of Huron County, Michigan and has been a resident of Zephyrhills since 1978, coming here from Naples, Florida. He was a retired machine operator, and a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church where he was a usher and Eucharistic Minister. Mr. O'Neil was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of Knights of Columbus, and a member of the VFW. Mr. O'Neil was predeceased by his wife Mabel Pratt O'Neil and daughter Rose Anderson; and sisters, Loretta Force, Rita Uhlman, Mary Jean Maurer, and Mildred Trombley. Survivors include three daughters, Ruth Ann O'Neil of Marlette, Michigan, Margaret Fritz and husband Richard of Naples, and Linda Truax of Zephyrhills; two brothers, Harold O'Neil and Tim O'Neil of Michigan; three sisters, Dorothy Beith, Kay Langford and Irene Stein, all of Michigan; 17 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. (Today) October 31, 2002 with Father John Hays officiating.

She retired in December of 1992 as a reservation agent for Delta Airlines working in Detroit, Mich. and Tampa for 30 years. She had previously worked for Eastern Airlines for seven years. Mary is survived by her husband of 25 years, H. Pete Ormanian of Holiday; two step-sons, Hershell Ormanian of St. Petersburg and Art Ormanian of Sulphur Springs, Texas ; two brothers, Mark DelRincon of Sacramento, Calif. and Ronald Johnson of Canton, Mich.; four step-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.

She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Holiday and a member of the Beacon Square Civic Association. She is survived by two daughters, Rita Scrivner of Chandler, Ariz. and Janet Swiertz of Holiday; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

WOODWORTH, Victor C., 74, of New Port Richey, died Tuesday, October 29, 2002 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Center, New Port Richey. He was born in Boston, Mass. and moved here from Miami in 1991. He was an electrical engineer and a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, Mass. with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, of the Baptist faith and a longtime member of the amateur radio community (AB4MW), having spent several years working with local amateurs as a volunteer examiner. Victor is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lucille Woodworth of New Port Richey; three sons, Marc Woodworth of Augusta, Ga., Richard Woodworth of LaPlata, Md. and Paul Woodworth of Duluth, Ga.; two daughters, Denise Johnson of Los Angeles, Calif. and Elaine Rowe of Panama City Beach, Fla.; and five grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In. lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made in Mr. Woodworth's memory to Hernando-Pasco Hospice, 12107 Majestic Blvd., Hudson, FL 34667.

Dodson of St. Petersburg; a nephew, Douglas Thayer of Kissimmee; two nieces, Susan Thayer of Bradenton and Jennifer Campbell of Fairfax, Va.; and a sister-in-law; Jeanette Thayer of Sarasota. A Memorial Service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, November 2, 2002 at the Zephyr Christian Church, with Pastor Doug Campbell officiating. Helen was a World War II Army Veteran serving in the South Pacific, and a case worker for the state of New York.
