MEROLA, Michael, 82, of New Port Richey, Florida, passed away November 8, 2002 while under the care of Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Center. A native of Philadelphia, Pa., he came here 27 years ago from Philadelphia. He was a retired machinist for Steel Heddle. Mr. Merola was of the Catholic Faith. Survivors include his wife Edna; two sisters, Ann Carson of Hudson, Florida and Betty Francesangeli of Oreland, Pa. MOORE, John A., 89, of New Port Richey, died Saturday, November 9, 2002 at the Hernando Pasco Hospice Care Center, in New Port Richey. Born in Bayonne, N.J., he moved here from Teaneck, N.J. in 1973. He was a stage carpenter for the NBC television network, and worked on shows such as Sid Caesar's Show of Shows. He was a member of Union Local#1I AT SE. His wife of 62 years, Theresa; two daughters, Jean Jackson-Ruby of Daytona Beach and Joan Moore of Tampa; and his grandson, Michael McCaffrey of Tampa, survives him.

BOERSMA, Frances M., 75, lifelong resident of Tampa, Fla., passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2002.. She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, John. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Johnston and husband Michael; three sons, Ron Lazo, and his wife Cindy, John, and Thomas Boersma; several grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter, Alisen Frances. Born in Manhattan, New York, he moved here in 1978 from Rockland County, New York and was a retired Chief Engineer for the Veterans Administration. He was a member of the Catholic faith and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was also a member of the County Commander of Rockland VFW from 1975-1976 and County Adjutant in 1972. He was also a member of the Pearl of the West Masonic Lodge #146 in New Port Richey. Mr. Famulari was a recipient of the Purple Heart.
