CARR, Loulia F., 88 of Tampa, Florida passed away on November 12, 2002. Mrs. Carr is survived by her son, Edwin J. Carr Jr. and his wife Nathalia; daughter, Joy L. Powell; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held on Friday November 15, 2002, 1 p.m at the Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the graveside service at Blount Curry and Roel Funeral Homes, Garden of Memories Chapel, 4207 E. Lake Avenue.

EDGAR, Mary Mae, age 72, of Lakeland, died Nov. 9, 2002. Survived by one daughter; one son; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

EVERHART, Charles, `Chuck`, passed away on November 12, 2002 at South Bay Hospital. A native of Madison, Wisconsin, he and Sally, his wife of 53 years, have lived in Sun City Center since 1995. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin in chemistry, he worked in the chemical industry his entire career. An honored veteran of World War II, Charles flew more than 30 bombing missions over Europe. He was a radio operator and gunner on the B-17 Flying Fortress of the 390th Bomber Group. He held the Air Medal with 4 Oak Leaf clusters for courage and achievement in action. He was honorably discharged in 1945. Charles married Sally Pezl on May 28, 1949. He was an avid golfer and cribbage player. He is survived by a loving family including his wife, Sally; one sister and two brothers in Madison, Wisconsin; one son, David Everhart of Peoria, Illinois; four daughters, Helen (Jeff) Everhart of Fort Collins, Colorado, Nancy (Terry) Crimmins of Denver, Colorado, Jane (Michael) Everhart of Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Janet (Paul) Migaki of Portland, Oregon; and eight grandchildren. Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday from 12 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be Thursday, Nov. 14, 2002 at 2 p.m. with Dr. Larry Lewis officiating. His resting place will be in Phillips, Wisconsin.

FORBES, Shirley P., 48, of Plant City, died November 12, 2002. Beloved wife of Leon `Buddy` Forbes, she has joined Pop, Granny, Janet, Demp and other family and friends who preceded her in death. She is survived by two sons, Dennis Wayne Bartlett and Stephen Leon Forbes; mother, Selma; mother-in-law, Melba Jean Forbes; sister-in-law, Dixie Forbes-Gorby and husband, John R. Homey; and pet, Bullet. A memorial service will be held in Haught Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 16, 2002.

FRAZIER, Bobbie Rae Baldwin passed away on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2002 to join her son, Ruben Reese Richards and her parents, Haskell and Zelma Peavey Baldwin. She was born in Port Tampa City, Florida, Dec. 15, 1932. She was a member of Dover First United Methodist Church and worked for the Buick Company for over 20 years in Fort Myers and Tampa, Florida. She is survived by her husband, James Frazier; sons, Ronald R. R ichards and James Frazier Jr.; daughter, Helen Frazier; sister, Billie Jo Simmons Boyer; brother, James D. Baldwin; grandchildren, Raquel Richards Green, Jason Green, Ryan Richards and Randy Richards; and two great-grandchildren, Mackenzie and Colton Green. Bobbie's hands were never idle, she loved to paint whether it was beautiful pictures or decorating the interior of her home. She also did need le work of all kinds and enjoyed gardening. She was loved by her family and friends and will be missed, but remembered always as a lady whose faith in God gave the courage to stand tall against many obstacles and never lost faith in the beauty of life. A memorial service will be held Nov. 16, 2002 at 12 p.m. at Dover First United Methodist Church, 3419 Wheeler St., Dover, Fla. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to LifePath Hospice or Dover First United Methodist Church.

HORTON, Ruth Bessie, of Lakeland, died Nov. 10, 2002 at the age of 93. She is survived by one sister, Elizabeth Jones of Lakeland, Fla.

HUDGINS, Jean, passed from this life November 8, 2002 at her daughter's home in San Antonio, Texas , after an extended illness. Jean was born in Staunton, Ill., on October 8, 1926. She has been a Florida resident since 1960 and recently resided in Plant City, Fla. She is survived by daughter, Debbie McCullough and son Terry Weiss. She is also survived by three stepchildren; five grandchildren and step grandchildren. Burial will take place in Staunton, Ill. A memorial service will take place November 21, 2002 at 11 a.m. at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Plant City, Fla. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to LifePath Hospice, 3010 W. Azeele St., Tampa, FL 33610.

JONES, Roseann, 45 of Tampa, Florida passed away on November 11, 2002. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Fretto and her parents, Dominick and Edna Fretto. She is survived by her companion of many years, Onelio Alfonso; aunts, Josephine Guarisko Annie Ferlita who is also her Godmother, Vi Cacciatore, Rose Dixon, and Josephine Marchese; uncles, Tony Marchese, and Joe Marchese Jr.; niece, Hope Fretto and many cousins. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, 1 p.m. at Blount Curry & Roel Funeral Home, Garden of Memories Chapel, 4207 E. Lake Avenue. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. at the Garden of Memories Cemetery.

LANDRY, David M., 70, of Sun City Center died November 3, 2002. He retired as Director of Personnel for Combustion Engine Company in Windsor, Connecticut. He was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church and served in the U.S. Coast Guard during the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, Elsie; two daughters, Deborah McEdward and Valerie Forti; a son, David E.; a brother, Donald E.; and five grandchildren. A reception in honor of David will be held in the West Social Room of the Kings Point Club House on Sunday, November 17, 2002 from 2 to 4 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. The family has requested memorials in David's name be made to the Samaritans Alzheimer Auxiliary, 916 North Pebble Beach Boulevard, Sun City Center, FL 33573. LONGARZO, Edith Roeder, 58, of Tampa, Fla., died November 13, 2002 at home. She was the wife of Victor Longarzo. They had been married for 18 years. Born in Attleboro, Mass., the daughter of the late Viola (Lincoln) Roeder Thibault and step-daughter of the late Leo Thibault. She had lived in both Norton and Rehoboth, Mass. for many years before moving to Florida 22 years ago. Mrs. Longarzo had worked for the Tampa law firm of TSK, 20 years, as an accounting manager before retiring due to illness. She was previously employed as accounts receivable supervisor at Texas Instruments, Attleboro, Mass. for 12 years. Besides her husband, she leaves her beloved aunt, Mildred Koch of Horsham, Pa.; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends today at C. E. Prevatt Funeral Home, 988-7371, from 12-2 p.m. and from 6-8 p.m. Burial will take place in Norton, Mass.

MASSE, Marcel J., 83, of Tampa, died Nov. 7, 2002. He served in the US Navy during World War II. He is survived by his companion, Diane Brooks; and his brother, Joseph Masse. Service with military honors will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Florida National Cemetery.

MAYHUGH, Margaret H., 71, of Tampa, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2002 at Tampa General Hospital. She is survived by her son, Hal Mayhugh and his wife, Margie of Tampa; a sister, Mary Ann Mitchell of Jackson, Tenn.; grandchildren, Jon and Lauren Mayhugh of Tampa; a niece, Kathy Wood; and a nephew, Tommy Mitchell, both of Jackson, Tenn. Mrs. Mayhugh was predeceased by her husband, Boice Mayhugh in 1982. She was a member of the First Christian Church. Friends may visit at the Mark III Funeral Home South Tampa Chapel on Friday, November 15, 2002 from 6 to 8 p.m.. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 11 a.m. and interment will take place in Jackson, Tenn. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to the American Diabetes Association, 5011 W. Hillsborough Ave., Tampa, FL 33634.

MESSER, Geneva M., 80, of Tampa, died Nov. 9, 2002. Survived by son, Jimmie; daughter, Lexie; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

MICHAEL, Melvin Rodney, 81, of Gainesville, Fla., died Tuesday, November 12, 2002, at Shands at AGH Hospital, in Gainesville, Fla., following a brief illness. He was born on March 14, 1921, a Monday, in Mount Solon, Va., and was a son of the late Raymond Michael and Fleta Elsie (Horn) Michael. He lived in Toledo, Ohio where he was a union steward for the Teamsters and a truck driver for Dallas & Mavis Fwd. Co. Following his retirement he moved to Tampa, where he worked for the Florida State Fair Authority which he retired from in 1985, and moved to Gainesville in 1996. He leaves behind his dear wife of fifty years, Mary A. Bell Michael, of Gainesville. He is survived by his three children, Patricia Lincoln of Bronson, Fla., Randall A. Michael of Lakeland, Fla., and Ronald J. Michael of Gainesville. Two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive. Close family friends include David Thomas, Sewell J. Speed, III, and Rev. Michael D. Pittman all of Gainesville. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery, Mt. Solon, Va. Johnson Funeral Service, Inc., Bridgewater, Va. is in charge of arrangements.

RICHARDSON, Lucy Baker, 83, of Dayton, Va., died Tuesday, November 12, 2002, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg, Va. She was born on Saturday, October 11, 1919 in Wilson, N.C. and was the daughter of the late, Walton Chamberlain Baker and Frances Lenox (Jenkins) Baker. Mrs. Richardson had lived in North Carolina and Florida before moving to Dayton in 1994. She was a member of the Dayton United Methodist Church. On September 2, 1939 she was united in marriage to John MacLaren Richardson who died on June 23, 1991. She is survived by three children, John M. `Jack` Richardson, Jr. of Bridgewater, George B. Richardson of Palo Alto, California and Lois R. (Richardson) Strauss of Norway, Maine. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Dayton United Methodist Church on Friday, November 15, at 2:30 p.m. with Dr. James L. Mahaffey officiating. At Mrs. Richardson's request the body has been cremated. The family will receive friends following the memorial service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Bridgewater Fire Department, 304 North Main Street, Bridgewater or Bridgewater Rescue Squad, PO Box 285, Bridgewater, VA 22812.

RIEDEL, Roy L., 81, of Tampa, passed away on Nov. 2, 2002. A memorial service will be held at Bayside Community Church, 3333 Bayshore Blvd., Tampa, FL 33629, on Saturday, November 16, 2002, at 5:30 p.m. The family will receive friends following the service. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Bayside Community Church or the American Parkinson Disease Assn., Inc., 1250 Hylan Blvd., Suite 4-B, Staten Island, NY 10305.

RISK, Jr., Lloyd, age 73, of Lithia went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 12, 2002. Mr. Risk was retired from Conserv Chemical Company, a member of Westside Baptist Church, an Army veteran of World War II, and a member of Riverview Moose Lodge #2158. Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Risk of Lithia; seven sons, Robert Risk of Madison, Ind., Charles Michael Risk and Brian D. Risk both of Hanover, Ind., Jack Beavers, Joe Beavers and Jerry Beavers all of Plant City, and James Beavers of Lexington, Ind.; two daughters, Virginia Risk and Janice Gaffney both of Lithia; 19 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Memorial Services will be on Saturday, November 16, 2002, 10 a.m. at Westside Baptist Church, with Reverends Jeff Smith and Danny Rayburn officiating.

Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church of Brandon. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
