Randall Hendry Bishop, 47, of Grand Ridge died Monday, Feb. 24, 2003, at his residence. Arrangements will be announced by James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel of Marianna.

Tammy Jean Yager, 41, of Marianna died Sunday, Feb. 23, 2003, in Marianna. A graveside funeral will be held at 10 a.m. today, Tuesday, Feb. 25, at Riverside Cemetery with Phillip May officiating and James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.

Reverend Donald Earl Price, 61, of Marianna died Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2003 in the Gulf Coast Community Hospital in Panama City. The funeral will be held Saturday, Feb. 22, at 10 a.m. at the A/G Campground with Rev. Charles Crabtree, Assistant General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God, Rev. Glyn Lowery, Assistant District Superintendent, Rev. Mark Jakelsky, District Secretary/ Treasurer, Rev. Bobby Thompson, District Executive Presbyter, and Rev. Fred Rogers, District Executive Presbyter officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Panama City with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing. Active pallbearers are the District Presbytery and former district officials. Honorary pallbearers will be all ministers and spouses as well as local officials. The family will receive friends Friday, Feb. 21, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the A/G Campgrounds, 4792 Highway 90 W. Marianna. Flowers will be accepted by the family and should be sent to the West Florida District Assemblies of God Campground. Memorial contributions may also be made to the Donald E. Price memorial fund to be used for the new activity center, which is now under construction on the district campgrounds. Checks should be made payable to the West Florida District Assemblies of God. Marianna Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Eunice Culverhouse Thomas Snell, 78, of Marianna died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2003, in Marianna. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, at Maddox Chapel with Rev. Roland Rabon officiating. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Friday, Feb. 21, at the funeral home.

Hattie L. Shield, 93, of Marianna died Thursday, Feb. 20, 2003, in the Courtyard at the Millpond. Services will be memorialization by cremation.

George W. Harkins, 80, of Bainbridge, Ga. died Sunday, Feb. 16, 2003 in Bainbridge. The funeral will be held Thursday, Feb. 20, at 10 a.m. CST at Maddox Chapel with Father Paul White officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Methodist Cemetery with full military graveside honors given by the American Legion Sneads Post 241. James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel of Marianna will direct. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel in Marianna.

Albert Lee Rhodes, 84, of Compass Lake died Sunday, Feb. 16, 2003, at Bay Medical Center in Panama City. The funeral will be held Thursday, Feb. 20, at 2 p.m. CST at Maddox Chapel in Marianna. Burial will be in Alford Cemetery with full military honors given by American Legion Sneads Post 241. James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel of Marianna will direct. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Wednesday, Feb. 19, at James and Sikes, Maddox Chapel.

Ulysess "Red Bone" Porter of Campbellton, 74, died Sunday, April 6, at his residence.

He was a native of Jackson County and retired from Rex Lumber Company in Graceville.

He is survived by his wife, Hazel Porter of Atlanta, Ga.; three daughters, Dorothy Godwin and her husband, Willie, of Newark, N.J., Sarah Brown and her husband, Jimmy, of Dothan, Ala., and Vanessa Hampton and her husband, Robert, of Atlanta, Ga.; six sons, William Porter and his wife, Helen, of Newark, N.J., Charles J. Porter and his wife, Gwen, of Irvington, N.J., Michael Daniels and his wife, Linda, and Cleveland Porter and his wife, Bridgette, all of Dothan, Ala., Bobby Porter and his wife, Lanea of Virginia Beach, Va., and Roderick Porter of Atlanta, Ga.; one sister, Martha Russell and her husband, Raymond, of Panama City; one brother, Willie C. Baldwin, and his wife, Brenda, of Jacob City; 27 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Saturday, April 12, at 2 p.m. at St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church in Jacob City with Rev. G.E. Bowers officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Christian Memorial Chapel of Graceville.

The family will receive friends at the Rodney D. Pittman Memorial Chapel in Graceville today, Friday, April 11, from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Lillie Margie Cook, 80, of Marianna died Wednesday, April 9, 2003, at Jackson Hospital.

She retired from GTE Telephone and was a door greeter at Wal-Mart for the past 12 years. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert K. Cook.

She is survived by: her daughter, Barbara A. Powell and her husband, Bill, of Marianna; three grandchildren, Billy Powell and his wife, Karen, of Enterprise, Ala., Sherri Godwin and her husband, Jeff, of Marianna, and Angie Bunting and her husband, Phillip, of Marianna; five great-grandchildren, Kailey Powell of Enterprise, Ala., Christopher Godwin and Brianna Godwin of Marianna, and Alexandra Bunting and Ashley Bunting of Marianna; and her very good friends, Dick and Doris Schoenian of Marianna.

The funeral will be held Saturday, April 12, at 10 a.m. at Lord Funeral Home with Revs. Roland Gilliland and Roland Rabon officiating. The family will receive friends today, Friday, April 11, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Daisy Mae Brinson Hearns, 86 of Sneads, died Saturday April 5, 2003, at Jackson Hospital.

She was a member of the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held Saturday April 12, at 1 p.m. at the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, with Rev. O.Z. Waddell, Rev. Walter McCalister and Rev. Rollie Murry officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Vann Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The body will lie at the church from noon until time for the funeral.

Survivors are: sisters, Ruth Smith and Evelyn Smith, both of Miami, Mary Jane Lewis of Carson, Calif., and Eva Paramore of Panama City; and a brother, Isiah Brinson, Boynton Beach.

Mrs. Annie "Sane" Baker, 106, of Marianna's Holy Neck community and a lifelong resident of Jackson County, died Monday, April 7, in the Jackson County Convalescent Center in Graceville following a brief illness.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 12, at Holyneck Missionary Baptist Church in Campbellton with the Revs. Richard Peterson and James Youmas officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with McKinnie Funeral Home of Campbellton directing. The body will lie at the church one hour prior to the service.

The family will receive friends today from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Survivors include: one god-son, Robert Mount, and his wife, Maggie, of Rockwell, Texas , and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

James Floyd Bush, 76, of San Diego, Calif. died Thursday, April 3, 2003.

He was born April 24, 1926 in Cottondale. He was retired from the United States Navy where he served in World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of the Cottondale Masonic Lodge #206 for 55 years where he held a 32nd degree and also a member of the VFW #6894.

He is survived by three daughters, June Kriss West of Lemon Grove, Calif., Barbara A. Bush of San Diego, Calif. and Elizabeth Betsy Smith of San Diego, Calif.; one brother, Lindy Bush of Navare; two grandsons and one granddaughter; and his favorite cat, Geighie, and fish, Lucky #2.

A graveside service will be held Friday, April 11, at 10 a.m. in the Kynesville Cemetery in Kynesville with the Rev. Cloys Joyner officiating. Brown Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Rosalie Davis Page, 79, of Marianna died Sunday, April 6, 2003, at her residence.

She was born in Madison, lived in Marianna, graduated from Marianna High School and worked at Graham Air Base during World War II. She then moved to Jacksonville and lived there until 1962 at which time she moved to Atlanta and began a career with the Federal Government as an auditor until her retirement in 1985. She then moved back to Marianna and became a homemaker and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Page Jr. in 1992.

She is survived by one son, James H. Page III, of Fort Lauderdale; one daughter, Rebecca Page Strykowski of Fort McCoy; and two grandchildren, Sarah and Katie Page.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. CDT, Friday, April 11, at Bascom United Methodist Church with Rev. Fred Zeigler officiating. James and Sikes Funeral Home, Maddox Chapel directing. No visitation is planned.

Kathryn Elizabeth Brown, 76, of Marianna died Wednesday, April 9, 2003, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.

She was a native of Ellenton and lived in Marianna for more than 64 years. She graduated from Marianna High School and Florida State University. She retired from the Jackson County School Board after 38 years of service at Grand Ridge High School where she taught business and English. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church for more than 60 years.

She is survived by a brother, Charles Brown Jr., and his wife, Peggy, of Marianna; one niece, Amber Brown, of Tampa; two first cousin's Jim Stockton of Brinson, Ga. and Earl Stockton of Fort Walton Beach.

The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. CDT, Friday, April 11, at the First United Methodist Church in Marianna with Rev. Fred Zeigler officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery with James and Sikes Funeral Home, Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Flowers will be accepted or those wishing may make memorial contributions to the First United Methodist Church building fund, 2901 Caledonia St., Marianna, FL. 32446

Alta D. Morris, 87, of Kynesville died Sunday, April 13, 2003, at Jackson Hospital. The funeral will be held Tuesday, April 15, at 2 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Revs. Harry Powell and Charles Collins officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.

Danny Harold Durbin, 48, of Malone died Monday, April 13, 2003, in Bristol.

He was a lifetime resident of Malone. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

He is survived by his father, Harold Durbin, of Leavinworth, Kansas; his mother, Mattie Hall, of Malone; two daughters, Candace Garvin and Jennifer Durbin of Chipley; two sisters, Teresa Baxley and Cindy Hare of Marianna; and three grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Thursday, April 17, at 10 a.m. at Lord Funeral Home with Rev. John Boss officiating. Burial will be at Pinecrest Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends today, Wednesday, April 16, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Lord Funeral Home.

Lord Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Queen Esther Gray Bass, 52, of Marianna died Friday, April 19, 2003, in Dothan, Ala.

She is survived by her husband, Ulysses D. Bass; daughter, Aucilla Bass; son, Anthony Gray Ulysses Bass Jr.; stepson, Antonio L. Bass; father, Ben Gray; three sisters, Shirley Gray, Gloria Johnson, and Pamela Olds; and brother, Richard Blount.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. CST Friday, April 25, at Bethel Star MB Church in Marianna. Burial will be at Greensboro Community Cemetery in Greensboro.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral at Bethel Star MB Church.

Iola Hatcher Alford, 74, of Grand Ridge died Tuesday, April 22, 2003, at her residence.

Arrangements will be announced by James and Sikes Funeral Home, Maddox Chapel of Marianna.

A celebration of life for Iola H. Alford will be held today, Friday, April 25, 2003, at 3 p.m. CDT at Cypress Grove Assembly of God Church conducted by Revs. Charles Jackson, Ray Johnson and Shelton Kindig. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel of Marianna directing.

The family is at the Alford's home on Cypress Grove Road.

lola Alford, born February 14, 1929, a member of the DelIwood community, died at home on Tuesday, April 22, 2003 after an extended illness.

She had survived a major stroke and ovarian cancer for five years. Her faith and hope in God sustained her always.

lola's greatest passion was people. She spent a lifetime loving a large circle of family and friends. The most fortunate were her husband of nearly 60 years, Luther; and children, Shirley Alford Hamilton and son-in-law, Samuel Hamilton, of Seattle, Wash., Henry Elton Alford and daughter-in-law, Bernice Hamilton, Alford of Grand Ridge, Dale Alford Lockamy and son-in-law, George Lockamy, of Spartanburg, S. C., Connie Alford Steele and son-in-law, Steve Steele, of Tallahassee.

Her grandchildren are Christopher (Chris) Hamilton and wife, Carrie Hamilton, of Cumming, Ga.; Chad and wife, Leigh Hamilton, of San Antonio, Texas ; Elton and wife, Juanita Alford, of Grand Ridge; Georgiana Lockamy Hand and husband, Roger, of Sneads; Kelly Lockamy Edwards and husband, Buddy, of Marianna; Adam Lockamy and Anna Lockamy of Spartanburg, S.C.; Kara Steele and David Steele of Tallahassee.

Great-grandchildren are Lydia Ann Hamilton of San Antonio, Texas ; Sid and Amy Hand of Sneads; Kyle and Brandon Edwards, of Marianna.

Four exceptional people in her life, who gave her special care, were Mary Ann May, Norma Burch, Carol Alford, and June Mays. Their love and compassion were immeasurable.

Service to others and love for her Savior and church was the highlight of her life. She spent her time and her energy helping in the church and community. lola and Luther were lifelong and founding members of Cypress Grove Assembly of God Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Green and Clara Margieanne (Tiny) Hatcher and five brothers and sisters. One sister-in-law, Evelyn Hatcher, also of the Dellwood community survives her.

A celebration of her life will be held Friday, April 25, at 3 p.m. CDT at Cypress Grove Assembly of God Church conducted by Revs. Charles Johnson, Ray Johnson and Shelton Kindig. Burial will be in the church cemetery with James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel of Marianna directing.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. CDT at Cypress Grove Assembly of God Church on Thursday, April 24. The family is at the Alford's home on Cypress Road.
