O'REILLY, Mr. Edward J., 83, of Sun City Center died March 19, 2003 at his residence. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. he moved to this area in 1991 from Long Island. Mr. O'Reilly was retired from the building industry in New York after 50 years, He was a chief estimator. A member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus, he was also a World War II U.S. Navy veteran serving in the Sea Bee's. Mr. O'Reilly served as a volunteer fireman for 35 years in Plandome, L.I., N.Y., and affiliated associations. He was active in the Kings Point Amateur Radio Club, the A.R.R.L. and the Q.C.W.A. Chapter #195. Mr. O'Reilly is survived by his wife, Eileen; sons, Edward Peter O'Reilly of Manchester, N.H. and John Joseph O'Reilly of Port Washington , N.Y.; daughters, Ms. Eileen Eberhardt of Burbank, Calif. and Mrs. Mary Lee Schroeter of Miller Place, Long Island, N.Y. and 10 grandchildren. A visitation for family and friends will be held at the funeral home on Sunday March 23, 2003 from 3 to 5 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday March 24, 2003 at 11 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Monsignor Harold Bumpus officiating. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to LifePath Hospice 1647 Sun City Center Plaza, Sun City Center, FL 33573.

PROBST, Edith, 95,passed away Thursday, March 20, 2003 at Carrollwood Care Center. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years John, Sr. Survivors include two sons, John, Jr. and William; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Services will be held in Massachusetts.

TOOLE, Mary Frances, 77, a resident of Plant City, passed away March 19, 2003. She is survived by two sons, Jerry W. Toole and his wife Faye, and Joseph D. Toole and his wife Leslie; two daughters, Mary Ann Holmes and her husband Russell, and Sherry Kay Crews and her husband Rick; one brother, Lester Love; three sisters, Naomi McDonald, Cindy Chancey and Lucy Drawdy; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Mrs. Toole was a native of Georgia and a resident of Plant City since 1955 and a member of Pleasant Grove Assembly of God. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 24, 2003 at 2 p.m. from Pleasant Grove Assembly of God with Rev. Almer Harris and Rev. Larry Powell officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday afternoon from 3-5 p.m. at the funeral home.

WHITLEY, Roger, 72 of Tampa, Florida, died March 20, 2003. Born in West Virginia, he moved to Florida 1960. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lillian Whitley; his sons Richard Whitley and his wife Sheryl; Michael Whitley and his wife Deborah; Timothy Whitley and his wife Kaye; his niece Jackie Wise; his brother Buddy and his wife Kathy; brother Billy and his wife Norma; his granddaughter Brandi and her husband Eli; his grandsons Christopher and Bryan and great-granddaughter Madyson. He was the founder of Roger Whitley Chevrolet on January 13, 1971. He was the past President of the Tampa New Auto Dealers Association, past President of the Greater Tampa Bay Auto Dealers Association and the recipient of the Time Quality Dealer Award. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 23, 2003 from 3-6 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in Roger Whitley's name.

WOOD, Alfred, 62, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2003. He is preceded in death by his son; Richard Eugene Wood. Survivors include two sons, Alfred Page Wood of Springfield, Minn. and Michael Anthony Wood of Greencastle, Pa.; two daughters; Lisa Marie Wood and Samatha Lee Wood both of Thonotosassa, Fla.; one brother; Wayne Lee Wood of Luray, Va. four grandchildren; Daneile Marie Wood, Ryan Michael Wood, Kelsey Marie McVicker and Johnny Page Cannon. A native of Rileyville, Va. he moved to the Tampa Bay area in 1979 coming from Luray, Va. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, March 24, 2003 at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 23, 2003 at the Stowers Brandon Chapel.

WRAIGHT, Richard H.,78, of Tampa passed away March 15, 2003 at West Bay Rehab & Nursing Center in Oldsmar. He was born Sept. 6, 1924 in Rahway, N.J. and came here 26 years ago from Naples. He was a member of Idlewild Baptist Church in Tampa, and a World War II Navy veteran. He had been employed by American Life Ins. Co. and Gulf Life Ins. and later a security guard with Nations Bank. Survivors include his wife, Lula Virginia; a step-son, Fred Baldwin of Indianapolis Ind.; two daughters, Nancy Wraight of Coco Beach, Fla. and Tech Sgt Robin Wraight- O'Bannon, Pope Air Force Base, Fayetteville, N.C.; six step daughters, Queen Esther Cueller, Gwendolyn Fay Baldwin, and Jacqueline Baldwin-Davis all of Chicago, Ill., Yvonne Baldwin, Marie `Tony` Alexander, and Cheryl Alexander all of Atlanta, Ga. There are three grandchildren, 25 step grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Tuesday March 25, 2003 at 10 a.m. at Idlewild Baptist Church in Tampa. Burial at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.

BARTOW, Wilbert H., 73, of Holiday died Friday, March 21, 2003 at his home. He was born in Brooklyn, New York and came here 25 years ago from North Lindenhurst, Long Island, New York. He was an operations manager for Zayre Corp., and a veteran of the US Army/Air Force. He was a Methodist. He is survived by his wife, Brenda C.; son, Richard Bartow of New Port Richey; daughter, Lori Bartow of Holiday; brother, Charles of Hicksville, New York; two grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 25, from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., where a chapel service will follow at 12:30 p.m. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, following the service.

BURNSED, William Kenneth, 72, a mechanical engineer, died Thursday, March 20, 2003 at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida. Mr. Burnsed has lived in Lake City, Florida since 2001 and was previously from Lakeland, Florida. He is survived by his wife, Helen Leola Burnsed of Lake City; son, Dennis Burnsed of Duluth, Ga.; daughter, Deborah Rotuno of Tampa; stepson, Roger Dale Hayes of Stark, Fla.; stepdaughter, Pamela Stevens of Port Charlotte; brother, Eldridge `Jim` Burnsed of Dade City; and sister, Veda Lankford of Ocala, Fla. He is preceded in death by his previous wife, Joyce Burnsed. He was born March 5, 1931 in Lacoochee, Florida, the son of Leon and Bessie (Coleman) Burnsed. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict having attained the rank of Sgt. 1st Class. Visitation will be held at Lanier Funeral Home on Sunday from 3 - 5 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 105 Ameson Ave., Auburndale, FL 33823; Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 5415 Mt. Olive Road, Polk City, FL 33868; or the American Cancer Society, 809 S. Florida Ave., Lakeland, FL 33801. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia; two sons, Joe Castillo of Brooksville, FL, David Castillo of Land O' Lakes, FL; one daughter, Nora Castillo Carter of Land O' Lakes, FL; two sisters, Jenny Alvarez of Tampa, FL., Grace Olivera of Tampa, FL, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at Loyless Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m.

COBB, Vera McMullen, 91, of Dade City, died Wednesday, March 19, 2003 at Pasco Regional Medical Center. A member of the Pioneer McMullen family, she was born in Pinellas County in 1911 to John and Alice McMullen. She moved to Orlando in 1939 after her marriage to Vance Cobb and moved back to Pinellas County in the early 1970's. In 1980, she moved to Dade City and was active in the Literacy Program and was a volunteer for both the Chamber of Commerce and the Dade City Hospital. She was a member of the Seminole United Methodist Church. Her passions were music and the outdoors and she was an avid piano player and gardener. She obtained her AA degree from St. Petersburg Junior College in 1985 at the age of 74. Survivors include a son, Judge Wayne Cobb of Dade City; a daughter, Jane Gergley of Winter Park, Florida; three brothers, Robert McMullen and Webster McMullen, both of Largo and Carl McMullen of New Port Richey; a sister, Betty Jean Johnson of Largo; six grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Vance Cobb; a son, Gordon Cobb; and a granddaughter, Terri Sue Cobb. Funeral services will be held at Seminole United Methodist Church at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 with Pastor John E. Denmark officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Monday, March 24, 2003.

GAVENAS, Robert A., 71, of Lutz, passed on Wednesday, March 19, 2003, at his residence. He was born in Newark, NJ and moved to Lutz from Sterling, VA in 1991. He was a retired professional photographer and former owner of Robert Charles Studio. He was a Catholic. He was preceded in death by his brother, Albert and his sister, Elaine Francisco. He is survived by his wife, Mary; two step-daughters, Beth Hammer of Amissville, VA, Jodi Parresol of Rockingham, NC; one brother, James Gavenas of Allamuchy, NJ; five grandchildren, Kendra and Alex Hammer, Kursten, Missa and Laura Parresol, six nieces and four nephews.

HENLEY, Ada Revecca, 88, of Hudson, formerly of Tampa died Thursday March 20, 2003 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice in New Port Richey. Born in Atlanta, she moved to Tampa in 1951 from Rico, Ga., then in 1981 moved to Hudson. She was a retired clerk for Richard's Drugs, Tampa; and a member of Beacon Baptist Church. Survivors include two son, Lee, Hudson, and William G., Acworth, Ga.; daughter, Frances Cohorst, Lake City; 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren. Wellwood/Grace Funeral Home & Cemetery, Hudson.

ARGYROU, Nicos, 73, died March 21, 2003. Survived by loving family. Services; Monday, 10:15 a.m., St. George Greek Orthodox Church, NPR; Visitation, Sunday 2 - 4 p.m. and 6 - 8 p.m. at Dobies F.H.

BOLESTA, James Wesley `Bo`, of Bushnell, passed away at his residence on March 21, 2003. He is survived by his wife, Zora Bolesta; sister, Thelma Clark; and nieces, Susan Ballard and Barbara Womack. Graveside services will be held in the Garden of Memories Cemetery on Monday, March 24, 2003, at 11:00 a.m.

BULLARD, Patricia M., age 57, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2003 at Baptist Medical Center of Jacksonville Beach, Fla. Mrs. Bullard was a native of Jacksonville, Fla., but lived in Tampa, Fla. for the last six years and had recently returned to Jacksonville. Mrs Bullard was a member of The River at Tampa Bay and was a graduate of the Charter Class of The River Bible Institute. She was a devoted mother and homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Mike Bullard; two daughters, Michelle Gilliam (husband Josh) of Jacksonville, Fla. and Kathy Bullard of Tampa, Fla.; one son, Jason Bullard of Jacksonville, Fla.; one nephew, Charles Ware of Jacksonville, Fla. and two grandchildren, Rebecca Bullard and Christopher Alexander. COHEN, Lisa Claire, 44, longtime resident of Davis Island and business woman in the Greater Tampa area passed away March 19, 2003. She is survived by her mother, Joan Karlsson of Cape May Point, N.J.; two sisters Cynthia Behrman of Manhattan and Laura Cohen of Redway, Calif.; one brother, Christopher Cohen of Cape May, N.J.; and many loving family members and friends. CONE, Jean Ann Ramsdell, was reared in Plant City, moving to Tampa in 1951 when she married Douglas Poe Cone. She passed away March 20, 2003. She was a Member of Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church which she served as Elder and President of Presbyterian Women. She was a Republican and a member of the Junior League of Tampa, serving as President and Sustainer of the Year, 1984. As a Tri Delta, she was President of the Tampa Alumna Chapter and outstanding member of the year, 1970. A Trustee Emerita of Berkeley Preparatory School, she had been President of the Ladies of Berkeley and President of the Berkeley Blazers, and also was Chairman of the Capital Campaign which built the present campus. A graduate of UNC - Chapel Hill, she was a past member of the National Alumni Association Board of Directors. She also served a term on the Tampa Sports Authority and was a member of the Bulldog Club of America, finishing two Champion Bulldogs. She was past director of the Board of the United Way and Tampa Museum of Art. She is survived by her husband, Douglas; daughter, Julianne Cone McKeel, her husband, Graham, and their two daughters, Marica and Genna; son, Douglas Jr. and wife Debbie, and the ir three children, Sadie, Douglas III and Charles William II; son, Rammy and wife, Linda, and their four children, Ashley, Carlee, Julian, and Chelsea. A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 23, 2003 at Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church. Dr. John DeBevoise officiating. Following the ceremony, the family invites friends to celebrate her life at Palma Ceia Golf and Country Club. Jean Ann requested no flowers but memorial contributions may be sent to the Jean Ann Cone Library, Berkeley Preparatory School, 4811 Kelley Rd., Tampa, FL 33615.

Custer, she is survived by her loving daughters, Jan Swain, Donna Parker; and sons, Greg Custer of Brandon and Mark Snyder of Cincinnati, Ohio: five grandchildren, Zak, Brittany, Katy, Mark and Jessica; two sisters, Evelyn Hudson of Alexandria, Va., and Bertie Rubright of Philadelphia, Pa.; and brother, Elwood Luther Eugene Swain of Hagerstown, Md. Known and loved by hundreds of children throughout Brandon and Hollywood Fla. as `Grama Bess` Funeral services will be conducted 4:30 p.m. Monday, March 24, 2003 at Stowers Brandon Chapel, 401 W.
