WILLIAMS, Mary `Aunt Leo`, age 87, of Plant City passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2003. Mrs. Williams was a retail clerk at McCrory's for 29 years and a member of Northside Baptist Church. She is predeceased by her husband Parker Williams. Survivors include her brother, Johnny Johnson of Crystal River; four sisters, Evelyn Morgan of Plant City, Betty Hinson of Turkey Creek, Geraldine Biebricher of Alabama, and Thelma Aycock of Brandon; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, 6 to 8 p.m. and services will be on Thursday at 2 p.m. at Wells Memorial Chapel, with Reverend Wayne Roberts officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Enon Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband William Winkley; son, Martin Winkley, Tampa, Fla.; daughter, Vivian Slaughter and husband Brad, Tampa, Fla.; grandson, Michael Winkley; sister, Flora Mae Morgan and husband Willis, Tampa, Fla. She was a loving mother, wife, sister, grandmother and friend.

ALIFF, Norval Ray, 68, Spring Hill, Fla., formerly of Huntington, W.Va., passed away Monday, March 24, 2003. He was preceded in death by Mary Ann Aliff, his wife of 44 years. He is survived by his only child, Debra Ann Aliff; grandson, James Ray Grande; one sister, Diana and many close friends. He moved his wife and child from West Virginia to Tampa, Fla. in 1962 and worked at the Anheuser Busch plant in Tampa until December 1995, when he retired after 25 years of dedicated service. He was a member of the Teamsters Local 388. Ray was an avid hunter and sportsman, as well as a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He will be missed by many. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in Ray's memory on Thursday, March 27, 2003, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Loyless Funeral Home Chapel, 5310 Land O' Lakes Blvd, also known as U.S. Highway 41, Land O' Lakes, FL. The family will receive friends during the service and immediately following the service at Ray's former residence located at 12249 Shady Hills Road. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Pepin Heart & Vascular Institute in care of the UCH Foundation, 3100 East Fletcher Ave., Tampa, FL, 33613.

She was born July 22, 1927 in Indianapolis, Ind., and came here 14 years ago from Vevay, Ind. She was Baptist. She was homemaker and a member of the Rhodius Park Mother's Club, aud the School 49 PTA in Indianapolis. Survivors include two sons, Jay and Jim, and a daughter Jeanne Walter all of Indianapolis; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

EDGELL, Shirley Ann, 72, of Tampa died Sunday March 23, 2003 at Oakwood Park Su Casa Nursing Home in Tampa. Born in Bridgman, Michigan she moved to this area three years ago from Zephyrhills, Florida. Mrs. Edgell was a housewife. She is survived by a daughter, Shelley Miller of Tampa, Fla.; two sons, Thomas William Trux of Hartford, Michigan and Mark Monroe Trux of Zephyrhills, Florida; two step-sons, George Edgell of South Bend, Indiana and Craig Edgell of Arizona; one step-daughter, Kathy Edgell of Illinois; one sister, Willeta Williams of Clermont, Florida; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

GORDON, Charles `Charlie`, 63, of St. Joseph, died Sunday evening, March 23, 2003. A native of Brooker, Fla., he had been a lifelong resident of this area. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a law enforcement officer for 34 years. He began as a Deputy for the Pasco County Sheriff's Office. He then served as Chief of Police at Saint Leo and finished his career as a Captain for the Dade City Police Dept. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and held the 3rd and 4th degree in the Knights of Columbus in San Antonio, Fla. He is survived by his wife, Virginia; three sons, Alan Gordon, Ricky Gordon and Ben Gordon, all of St. Joseph; two daughters, Carla Gordon and Rita McDougal, both of St. Joseph; three brothers, Bill Gordon and Johnny Gordon, both of Havana, Fla. and Danny Gordon of Clearwater, Fla.; four sisters, Juanita Peery of Seville, Ohio, Frances Herring of Panama City Beach, Fla., and Allene Coggins and Estelle Patterson, both of Dunedin, FL; and 11 grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to be made to the Pasco County Fair Association, the San Antonio Boy's Village, Sacred Heart Early Childhood Center or to the Dade City Fire Resc ue Explorer Post No. 355, or to Arts in Motion Community Youth Theatre. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday at the Sacred Heart Church with Rev. John Hays and Rev. Patrick Rebel as co-celebrants. Burial will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call at Sacred Heart Catholic Church where a Rosary service will be held at 7:30 p.m.

HALL, Bryant, age 65, of Tampa, passed away March 24, 2003. He is survived by sons, Calvin and Andrew; daughter, Mary and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Hood; and one grandson, Michael `BooBoo` Hood II. She was born December 6, 1931 in Rockford, Ala., and moved to this area in 1957. She was a Citrus Grader, having worked at the Lykes Pasco Packing Co. for over 25 years, and was a Methodist. He is survived by a step-daughter, Diane Lavene of Zephyrhills; a brother, Edward Johnson of Zephyrhills; a sister, Irene Pyscher of Cementon, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will take place at Wetzel & Son Funeral Home in Philadelphia, Pa. Interment will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Philadelphia, Pa. Mr. Johnson was a Veteran of the Navy serving in World War II at Pearl Harbor and the Korean Conflict. He was also the Commanding Officer at the Kansas City Reserve Center. Born August 3, 1909 in Cementon, New York to Leo Pavlovich and Josephine Johnson, he came to Zephyrhills in 1978 from Willow Grove, Pa. and he was Catholic.

He is a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in New Port Richey. He served in the US Army during World War II. Merle is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Doris Lilley; two sons, Jeff Lilley of New Port Richey, and Ron Lilley of Millinton, Tenn.; one daughter, Judy Joine of Akron, Ohio; sister, Blanche Krannich of Akron, Ohio; and four grandchildren.

Predeceased by her husband, Nelson Lincoln; she is survived by her son, George E. Floto; daughters, Mary Jane Tall and Ruth Ann Worsham, all of New Port Richey; 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. He was a retired superintendent for Fairchild Aircraft, Hagerstown, Md. after 41 years of service, an Army Veteran of World War II, of the Lutheran faith, a member American Legion Post #211, Funkstown, Md., and a member American Ex-Prisoners of War Florida State Chapter #1. SNYDER, Norma, 63, of Zephryhills, passed away March 24, 2003. She was preceded in death by her daughters, Karen Sue Hudson and Rhonda Gaye Estes. She is survived by her husband, Delbert Snyder; children, Becky Gail Simmons, Vickie Breier, Debbie Jean Coulter, Charles Eugene Snyder, Ricky Lee Snyder, Jimmy Snyder, Delbert Wayne Snyder, Phyllis Kaye Krueger, Joyce Faye Estes, Cathy Maye Snyder, Janice Lee Estes, and Sheila Faye Carter; brother, Carl Sparks; sister, Lillian Sparks; 36 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was a loving mother and wife who worked hard all her life for her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Frances R.; two sons, Lanny of New York, and Larry of Crete, Ill.; three daughters, Marlene Dishler of Garden Grove, Calif., Lynn Cohen of Miami, Fla., and Jacqueline Schroeder of Highland, Ind.; two sisters, Cecelia Gordon of Wheeling, Ill., and Shirley Marks of Monterey Park, Calif.; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 26, from 10-11 a.m. at Michels & Lundquist Funeral Home, during which a small service will be held by Rabbi Cutler. She has lived in the Tampa Bay area since 1958 coming from Indianapolis, Ind. She was of the Methodist faith, and a member of the Mothers Club at Academy of the Holy Names and Jesuit High School. Memorial services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2003 at the Marsicano Chapel, 4040 Henderson Blvd. Interment will be in the family plot in Winterville, Ga.
