She is survived by her husband, Rogelio; daughter, Ninon Bello; son, Frank Gonzalvez and wife, Denise of Queens, N.Y.; brother, Frank Jimenez of N.Y.; grandchildren, Keisha Alicea, Adolfo Castillo, Lazaro, Elsie, Liza and David Gonzalvez; three great-grandchildren; nephew, Tamarquis Luna; and neice, Dolores Jimenez. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, May 26, 10 a.m. at St. Peter Clavier Catholic Church, 1203 N. Nebraska Ave. with Rev. Fr. Paul Kochu Celebrant. Interment to follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery. Family will receive friends Sunday, 3-5 p.m. with Catholic Wake Rite Service 4:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

MICHAELS, Mary Ann, 53, of Ruskin, Fla., passed away May 21, 2003 at LifePath Hospice House of Sun City Center. Born in Johnstown, Pa., she graduated from Johnstown Central High School. She moved to Ruskin in 1990 from Johnstown. She was a member of Visitation Blessed Virgin Mary, Johnstown, Pa. Ms. Michaels is survived by her father and mother, Everett and Rose Marie Michaels; brothers Timothy, William, David, and Joseph Michaels; and one sister Phyllis Ferenchik. Visitation will be held Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lewers Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be at St. Anne Catholic Church, Ruskin, Fla., on Monday at 8 a.m. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown, Pa.

She is survived by her son, Louis Travieso, U.S. Army, Schoefield Barracks, Hawaii; daughter, Arlina Travieso of Valrico, Fla.; mother, Aida Santini of New Haven, Conn.; brother, Samuel Ortiz of New Haven, Conn. A native of Vineland, N.J., she has resided in Tampa area since 1995 coming from New Haven, Conn. Migdalia was a patient service representative for H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and a member of Nativity Catholic Church. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. (today) Saturday, May 24, 2003 at Stowers Brandon Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

WALLACE, Polly S. 81 of Tampa passed away May 21, 2003. She was daughter of the late Clarence E and Emily McCall Saunders of Gallipolis, Ohio. She is survived by her husband Donald Dennis; aunt, Hazel Gerrard of Port Orange, FL; nieces Babette and Ashley Roush of Columbus, Ohio. Polly and Donald were married Nov. 5, 1943 and moved to Florida in 1953 where they have resided. A sister Bette Jean Preceeded her in death. Burial will be in Mound Hill Cemetery, Gallipolis, Ohio.

BUCKINGHAM, Richard M. `Dick`, 79, of Ridge Manor, passed away May 23, 2003 at Brooksville Regional Hospital. He grew up in Washington D.C., where he later retired from NASA in 1970. He moved his family to Hernando County in 1972 and enjoyed retirement by actively participating in community activities for the betterment of Ridge Manor and Hernando County. Performing as he said, `His Civic Duty`, he served on the Board of Directors of Withlacoochee Rural Electric Cooperative for over 20 years and retired after 25 years of service with the Florida Highway Patrol Auxiliary. He served on many various committees and boards, the earliest was on the Hernando County Bicentennial Committee, recently he served on the Hernando Community Blood Bank; Hernando County Sheriffs Junior Deputy League; Pasco-Hernando Jobs and Education Partnership; Ridge Manor Community Center; Ridge Manor News; Ridge Manor Area Crime Watch, Inc. He was a past member of the Board of Directors of the Brooksville Regional Hospital; Hernando County Chamber of Commerce; Hernando County Fair and Hernando County Parks and Recreation. He was Catholic by faith and a World War II Army Air Corp Veteran. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Kathryn. He has five children, Michael Buckingham of Dunkirk, Md.; Mary Dunn, of Dunedin, Patrick Buckingham of Ridge Manor; Anne Buckingham of Ridge Manor; and Genie Toner of Spring Hill; he also has six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Friends will be received on Tuesday, May 27, 2003 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at the Brooksville Chapel of Brewer & Sons Funeral Homes, 1190 Broad St. A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at the Brooksville Chapel. COX, Betty W., 73, of Dade City, died Friday, May 23, 2003 in Tallahassee. A native of Tompkinsville, Ky., she moved to Dade City in 1954 from Somerset, Ky.. She was retired from the Pasco County School System having taught Home Economics and Elementary Education from 1954 until 1978 at Lacoochee Elementary, Pasco Elementary and Moore Mickens Education Center. She was the Director for Headstart for Pasco County from 1978 until 1992. Mrs. Cox was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Dade City. Survivors include three sons, Steven B. Cox, and his wife, Mary E. Cefalio-Cox of Dade City, James A. Cox and his wife, Kate of Tallahassee and David L. Cox and his wife, Yvonne of Tallahassee; a brother, William Howard Webb of St. Louis, Mo.; a sister, Judy Webb Turner of Tompkinsville, KY; and six grandchildren, Elicia Cefalio-Cox, Marisa Cefalio-Cox and Andrea Cefalio-Cox, all of Dade City and Patrick Neismith-Cox, Marcie Cox and Camille Cox, all of Tallahassee. She was predeceased by her husband, Rodney B. Cox in March of 1973. Funeral services will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Dade City at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2003 with Rev. Randall Belcher officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service, from 12 until 2:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will follow at Floral Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name are requested to be made to the Pasco Education Foundation, PO Box 1248, Land O' Lakes, FL 34639.

He was the owner and CPA of D & L Accounting & Tax Services, Cabot, Ark. He was also an Army Veteran of World War II, and of Protestant faith. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Clara of Holiday; sons, Ralph L. of Hudson, and Gregory W. of Land O' Lakes; brothers, Edward of Hoyt, Kan., and Harold of Topeka, Kan.; sister, Frances Banks of Tecumseh, Kan; two grandsons, and two great-grandsons.

AZCANO, Gilbert O., age 92, of Temple Terrace passed away Thursday, May 22, 2003. He was a member of Universal Lodge No. 178 F.& A.M., past Grand Patron of Eastern Star Harmony Chapter. He was a multi Gold Medal Recipient in the Senior Olympics in 2000 through 2002. He was preceded in death by his brother Pedro Celestino Ascano. He is survived by his beloved wife of 70 years, Theresa; daughter, Norma Albano and husband Peter; sister, Zoraida Alonso; brother, Andy Osorio; brother-in-law, Ernest Platas; sister-in-law, Ofelia Alvarez and Zoraida Platas; grandchildren, Terry Milis and husband George, Robin Griffin and husband Duane, Lori Morel and husband Steve, Dru Albano; great-grandchildren, Stephen and Eric Milis, Krista and Richard Griffin, Peter Nicholas Gilberto Albano and Stephanie Morel; one niece, and several nephews. Funeral Services will be held Monday, May 26, 2 p.m. at Boza Roel Funeral Home, 4730 N. Armenia Ave., with interment to follow at Centro Asturiano Memorial Park. Pall bearers include George, Stephen and Eric Milis, Duane and Richard Griffin, Stephen Morel. Family will receive friends Monday, 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Family wishes to thank LifePath Hospice of Hillsborough County, Blue Team for their Care and Love they gave him during his illness. BETTIS, Richard W., Col. USAF Ret., passed away May 18, 2003 at his home in Green Valley, Arizona, under the care of Hospice. He is survived by his wife, Deannie; one daughter, three sons, seven grand children; and a sister, Mrs. Vivian Gaither of Lutz, Fla. He was born and raised in Tampa, graduated from Hillsborough High School and the University of Florida where he was a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity. He served in World War II and due to a medical disability retired from the Air Force in 1965. A memorial service will be held at the Valley Presbyterian Church, May 27, in Green Valley, Arizona.

BISHOP, Dianne, 64, of Largo, died May 23, 2003. Survived by daughter, Susan (Mike) Wagner; father, Everett Dahlvik; three brothers, one sister, and two granddaughters.
