DOLCIMASCOLO, Sam, 78, peacefully passed away July 26, 2003. His death was preceded by his son, Dominick Jason Dolcimascolo; his mother, Isabel Guastella; his father, Vitale Dolcimascolo; and his brother, Joseph Dolcimascolo. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 55 1/2 years, Reva M. Dolcimascolo; his daughter, Kym Dolcimascolo (his pride and joy); and many dear cousins and friends. Sam graduated from Hillsborough HS in 1943 and attended the University of Florida. He served in the US Navy from 1943-1946. He worked for the US Postal Service and upon retirement owned several clubs and restaurant in Tampa. He moved from Tampa to Indian Rocks Beach in 1990 where he enjoyed his leisure time being on the beach, fishing and laughing with friends and neighbors. Sam loved life and enjoyed it to the fullest. Sam was of Presbyterian faith and served as an elder at the Forest Hills Presbyterian Church in Tampa. He obtained 50 year memberships in many organizations. He was the Past President of the National Association of Letter Carriers, Branch #599, a member of the Universal Lodge #178 F.& A.M., a member of the Scottish Rites, Past Monarch of the Zendah Grotto, Past Worthy P artron of Trinity Chapter #240, Past President of the Tampa Chapter of the United Celebral Palsy and a member of the American Legion. Sam expressed his desire to be creamated with no funeral or memorial services and his wife and daughter are honoring his wishes. His laughter and love will be missed but never forgotten.

Mr. Garcia is survived by his parent, Filadelfo Garcia and Maria Petrona Echevarria; son, Himer Omar Garcia; companion, Glinys Garcia; and many loving family members.

HILTON, Madge Nuckolls, 80, of Tampa, died Friday, July 25, 2003. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rowe `Hack` Hilton and three brothers, and is survived by her sisters, Nancy Nuckolls and Ann Nuckolls, of Bluefield, Virginia. Mrs. Hilton was a member of Bayshore Presbyterian Church. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday (today), July 29, 2003 at the graveside in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

HUGHES, Jean, 68, of Brandon, Fla. passed away Friday, July 25, 2003. She is survived by one son; two daughters; one sister and eight grandchildren.

HULETT, Hazel, 80, of Brandon, passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2003. She was preceded in death by her son, Ellis Wallace and is survived by her daughter, Betty Crumpton, Brandon; five grandchildren, Ben Crumpton, Joni Colver, Gina Figueroa, Ellis Howard Wallace and Ashley Wallace and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 A.M. today (Tuesday) at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, 6919 Providence Rd. with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park.

LANE, Sharon Jane, age 38, of Tampa died July 25, 2003. Sharon was born November 18, 1964 in Gainesville, Fla. to Nancie H. and Walter W. Lane M.D. Sharon attended King High School and graduated from Plant High School. Sharon was a cheerleader at both schools. Sharon attended Florida State University and was a member of the Flying High Circus performing trapeze acts as a Flying Seminole. A graduate of the University of Tampa with a B.A. in English Literature and gained a certificate in secondary education. She was a dedicated teacher at East Bay High School where she was the school cheerleading coordinator and currently a YMCA gymnastics coach. She was a lady in waiting of the Krewe of Venus Royal Court. She was a member of the Palma Ceia United Methodist Church. Her passion was working with children and she had a strong loving role nurturing her sisters in childhood. She helped abused and neglected children and those who didn't have a voice to help themselves. Her contributions made the world a better place and her legacy will continue through the many lives she has touched. Sharon is survived by her fiance, Ray Margarit, of Tampa, Fla.; parents Walter and Jane Lane of Tampa, Fla.; sisters, Pamela Lane Ketchey of Tampa, Fla., Melissa Lane Lamb of Charlotte, N.C., and Stacie Lane Wheelis of Tampa, Fla. Other family members include namesakes Aunt Sharon Uhl of Satsuma, Fla.; Aunt Betti Jane Keenan of Durham, N.C.; and Aunt Patti Lane, five cousins, three nieces and three nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother Nancie H. Lane; grandparents, Verna and Ceidel Hoopin garner, Geraldine and Walter Lane Sr.; cousins: Craig B. Uhl (USAF), and David Keenan. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home where the family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Blount-Curry Funeral Home, Carrollwood Chapel 3207 W. LEWIS, Jeanie, 50, of Ruskin, passed away July 27, 2003 in Sun City Center. Born in Harvey, Ill., Ms. Lewis came to Ruskin in 2000 from Burbank, Calif. She was a member of the Methodist Faith. She enjoyed gardening, reading, sewing and taking her boys camping during Summer vacations. She is survived by her mother and father, John and Florence Garrett of Sun City Center; sons, Christopher and Joseph Lewis of Burbank, Calif.; brother, John Garrett of Gibsonton; and sister, Florie Brown of Avon Park. A Memorial Service will be offered on Wednesday, July 30, 2003 at Lewers Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at a later date. LOCKAMY, Elizabeth M., 90, born on September 18, 1912 in Columbia, S.C., passed away Thursday, July 10, 2003 in Tampa, Fla. She and her husband James moved to Tampa in 1949 from South Carolina. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, James E. Lockamy, (deceased June 30th, 1998). She is survived by her only sister Grace Shaner of Fairfax Station, Va.; her sister-in-law, Ruth Mayer of Salisbu ry, S.C.; her son and daughter-in-law, Kent and Janice Lockamy of Brandon; her daughter and son-in-law Joyce and Malcom Gibson of Lawrence, Kansas; grandchildren, Jennifer Price of Tewksbury, Mass., Amy (Jake) Roche, Lori Lockamy of Tampa, Ian Gibson of Tsuyama, Japan, Thomas Clark and Travis Lockamy of Brandon; great-grandchildren, Adam Price of Tewksbury, Mass., Logan, Jason and Hannah Roche of Tampa. While she and James lived in Tampa, they were members of St. Paul Lutheran Church. A Memorial Service is planned for 7 p.m. Tuesday (tonight), July 29, 2003 at Stowers Brandon Chapel. Entombment will follow at a later date in Hendersonville, N.C.

MONTELEONE, Rose `Rosie`, 65, lifelong Tampa resident, passed away July 26, 2003 in Tampa. She was preceded in death by her mother and father Mary and Roy Del Valle, Sr. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Carmelo Monteleone, Sr.; loving sons, Anthony Monteleone D.V.M. and wife Sara Monteleone D.V.M., and Carmelo Monteleone, Jr.; brother, Roy Del Valle, Jr. and wife Linda; sister, Mary Hill and husband Woody; brother-in-law, Jimmie Monteleone and wife Helen; grandchildren, Justin and Michael Monteleone and Samantha Collins; several loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Rosie was a pioneer, being the first to have open heart surgery, where her heart was stopped for one hour at Tampa General Hospital 40 years ago. She was 25 at the time. Rosie was a loving mother, grandmother and devoted wife who gave of herself and never asked for anything in return. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. She loved animals and especially doted on her grandchildren. Nana was always there for them. Mrs. Monteleone graduated from Jefferson High School in 1956 with her husband of 45 years. She participated in many clubs with her husband including the Northwest Tampa O ptimist Club and the Town & Country Optimist Club helping the youth of our community and La Nuova Sicilia Unita Lodge 1251 Order Sons of Italy In America. She was active with the Hillsborough County Schools and worked as a school bus driver. The family wishes to express their thanks to all the doctors and nurses who helped and treated her medical problems. Flowers will be accepted or contribution may be made to either the Northwest Tampa Optimist Club or the Town & Country Optimist Club at 12808 Holloway Rd., Tampa, FL 33625 in her memory. Pallbearers include: Anthony Monteleone D.V.M., Carmelo Monteleone, Jr., Peter Monteleone, Jr., Jimmie Monteleone, Dave Marchetta, Michael Monteleone and Justin Monteleone. Catholic funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 31, 2003 a t the Boza & Roel Funeral Home, 4730 N. Armenia Ave. with Msgr. Laurence Higgins officiating. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family will gather on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. with recitation of the Catholic Wake Rite at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home chapel.

MOORER, Sr., Sherman D., Officer, of Tampa, Fla., passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital on Thursday, July 24, 2003. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 31 at 11:00 a.m. at Highland Avenue Church of Christ, 2800 N. Highland Ave., Evangelist Orum L. Trone, Jr., pastor with brother, Ronnie L. Moorer, officiating. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4207 E. Lake Ave. He leaves to mourn his son, Sherman D. Moorer, Jr.; daughter and son-in-law, Kisha A. Moorer Bobbio and George Bobbio; daughter, Leticia R. Moorer; four grandchildren, Ariel, Sebastian, Ruben, and Lavender; ex-wife, Cecile Moorer; mother and step father, Annie and James Fowler; brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie L. and Gloria Moorer and children, Ronnie, Jr., Amy and Vanessa; sister, Adrienne Jacobs and daughter, Nikki Jackson; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, friends and co-workers. Final respects will be held at Highland Avenue Church of Christ on Wednesday, July 30 from 1:00 to 5:30 p.m. Flowers can be sent to Aikens Funeral Home or donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory. The funeral cortege will arrange from 6804 N. 30th Street.

O'BRIEN, Joseph Eugene, III, 51, of Louisville, Ky., died Sunday, July 27, 2003 at University of Louisville Hospital. Joey was killed tragically on the 8000 block of Dixie Hwy. early Sunday morning. He was born on December 28, 1951. He was a native of Louisville, an independent concessionaire, member of St. Clement Catholic Church. He is survived by his three children, David, Dee Anna and Jody ; a step daughter, Michelle; father, Gene O'Brien and his wife SanDee; brothers, Tim, Todd and Dean; sisters, Debbie, Gina, Dena and Erin; and many other family members. He was a carefree, fun-loving, goodhearted man and will be missed by all. `He was known as `Joey O`, once the best there was. The concessions will never be the same.` His funeral will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday at family-owned Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Rd., Louisville, Ky., with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday.

PHARR, Mary Ogletree, 87, of Plant City passed away quietly at her home on Sunday July 27, 2003. She is survived by her husband, George W Pharr; four sons, Woody, Timothy, Roy, and David; fourteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one brother, Charlie Joe Ogletree. Mrs. Pharr was a school teacher and media specialist with the Hillsborough County School System. A memorial service will be held Wednesday evening, July 30, at 7 p.m. from Springhead United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to, LifePath Hospice, 3010 W. Azeele Street, Tampa, FL 33609.

ROGERS, Ivan R., age 59 of Dover, passed away on July 26, 2003. Mr. Rogers was born in Cadiz, Ohio and moved here in 1963. He was of the Baptist faith and in the United States Air Force from 1962 to 1966. Survivors include his wife, Jane Rogers of Dover; two sons, Ross Rogers of Tampa and Richard Rogers of Dover; four brothers, Clark, Jerry, and Harry Rogers all of Ohio and John Rogers of Missouri; and three grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. and services will be on Thursday, July 31 at 10 a.m. at Stowers Funeral Home. Private interment will be at Florida National Cemetery.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Garden of Memories. Everyone is to meet at the cemetery for the graveside services. Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Karen Valdez; children, Lisa Saba, Mark Valdez, Kristi Aiken and their spouses; five grandchildren; sister, Linda Salles; and brothers, Roy Fifield and Steve Valdez. Rudy will be missed by all of his family members and many loving friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 11 o'clock at Lake Carroll Baptist Church, 12012 N. Born in Germany, she came here from Clifton Sherman Air Force Base in Oklahoma in 1969. She is survived by her beloved husband of 41 years, Josh A. Buchanan; daughter, Renate Witt of Ellern/Hunsbruck of Germany; sisters, Irma Gail and Margot Sponheimer, both from Germany; and a grandchild. BURNSIDE, Isabel `Izzie` S., 77, of Zephyrhills, passed away July 26, 2003, in Zephyrhills. She is survived by her husband, Andrew `Roy` Burnside of Zephyrhills; a daughter and son-in-law, Carole and Tom Foster of Wellington, Fla.; and three grandchildren, Thomas W. Foster of Wellington, Benjamin A. Foster of Denver, Colo. and Laura C. Foster of West Palm Beach, Fla. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 2, 2003 at the First United Methodist Church in Zephyrhills with Rev. Craig Ford officiating. Mrs. Burnside was born November 7, 1925 in Pasco Station, Florida to Kenneth and Isabel (Helveston) Stewart and was a life long resident of this area. She graduated from Dade City High School and worked for Bank of Pasco and later the City of Zephyrhills. She was a Christian and a member of the First United Methodist Church. Her life long ambition was helping the less fortunate. She worked with her husband as members of the Methodist NOMADS in volunteer construction, traveling the country rebuilding and helping in disaster areas. Her great-grandparents were pioneers of Pasco County. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hernando Pasco Hospice, 7066 Fort King Road, Zephyrhills, FL 33541 or to the Zephyrhills Volunteer Five Rescue, 38410 6th Ave., Zephyrhills, FL 33540.
