He was a supervisor of maintenance with the Boston Housing Authority for 32 years, an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Disabled American Veterans Chapter 13 in St. Pete Beach, the board of directors of the St. Vincent DePaul Holy Name Society's Bethlehem Center, Knights of Columbus Largo Council 4892 and St. Jerome Catholic Church, where he was also an usher. He is survived by his wife, Margaret; two sons, Dennis of Quincy and Carl of Largo; a daughter, Gail Chieco of Oceanside, Calif.; a sister, Claire Johnson of Stoneham, Mass.; and four grandchildren.
