EUARDA A. SCURLOCK, 89, of Ruskin died Thursday in Sun City Center. A native of Monroe County, Ind., she moved to the area 21 years ago from Palmetto. She was a homemaker. MARTIN STEPHEN SMALEC, 63, of Tampa died Friday at home. A native of Chester, Pa., he moved to Tampa in 1963. He was a master building painter, an Army veteran of the Korean War, member of American Legion, Masons and International Brotherhood of Painters. He is survived by his wife, Grace; three daughters, Sandra Crisel of Anchorage, Alaska, Mary Clark of Tampa and Christina Hamlin of Irving, Texas ; four brothers; two sisters; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. LESTER SUTO, 87, of Largo died Wednesday at Arbors of Tampa. A native of Hungary, he moved to this area in 1972 from New York City. He was a retired yardman for Ironworkers Union in Long Island City, N.Y., and a member of Orange Lakes Village Interdenominational Church. BRENDA L. TUCKER, 39, of Riverview died Thursday at home while under the care of Hospice of Hillsborough. A lifelong resident of the area, she was Baptist. JAMES C. WATERS, 84, of Sun City Center died Wednesday at Columbia South Bay Hospital. A native of Braintree, Mass., he moved to the area in 1980 from Pensacola. MARY ANNE BARRY, 72, of Bayonet Point died Saturday. A native of New York City, she moved here 17 years ago from Nanuet, N.J. She was saleswoman for Beall's and a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church. EVA MAE GASKIN, 92, of Dade City died Friday at Royal Oak Nursing Center in Dade City. A native of Wesley Chapel, she was a lifelong area resident. She was a retired nurse, working at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Dade City. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Dade City and the Methodist Women's Association. She is survived by two sons, Schuyler Meadows Jr. of Dade City and James N. of Satellite Beach; a sister, Elenor Hill of Zephyrhills; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great- great-grandchildren. CLIFTON LEROY HOLT, 79, of Zephyrhills died Thursday at East Pasco Medical Center, A native of Kintyre, N.D., he moved to the area 20 years ago from Dearborn Heights, Mich. VINCENT A. MAYER, 68, of Port Richey died Friday at North Bay Medical Center. He moved here six years ago from his native New York City.
