BELL STALVEY, 95, of Plant City died Monday at South Florida Baptist Hospital. A native of Broxton, Ga., she moved to the area in 1918. She was a homemaker and Baptist. She is survived by her husband, Robert E.; two sons, Bobby of Plant City and Benny of Lakeland; two daughters, Belva Lamb of Lakeland and Betty Ann Williams of Lithia; 13 grandchildren; 27 great- grandchildren; and six great-great- grandchildren. RICHARD C. STASTNY, 70, of Haines City died Tuesday at home. A native of Lorain, Ohio, he moved to Haines City from Mansfield, Ohio, last year. He was an orthopedic surgeon, retired chief of staff of Peoples Hospital in Mansfield and a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was a member of First Congregational Church in Mansfield, Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity, Alpha Kappa Kappa medical society, American and Richland County (Ohio) medical associations and the California Qualified Medical Examiners Board. He is survived by his wife, Martha Bell; three sons, Robert of Haines City, Randall of Cincinnati and Rodney of Bay Village, Ohio; a daughter, Cynthia Abbruzzi of Dublin, Ohio; a brother, Robert of Mineola, Texas ; and two grandchildren. VIVIAN R. VAN WINKLE, 75, of Lakeland died Tuesday. A native of Columbiana County, Ohio, she came to this area from Newton Falls, Ohio, 44 years ago. Westcott of Bradenton; two sons, Robert H. and Ronald E., both of Lakeland; two brothers, Floyd and Orville Binsley, both of Hanoverton, Ohio; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. HILDA ROSE BATES, 68, of New Port Richey died Monday at Helen Ellis Memorial Hospital in Tarpon Springs. A native of Detroit, she moved to this area 15 years ago from Mount Clemens, Mich. She was a retired travel agent for the Michigan Auto Club in Grosse Point, Mich. She is survived by a son, Martin Schroeder of Villajo, Calif.; a daughter, Carol Rodeback of Garden Grove, Calif.; two brothers, Paul Pingree of Tampa and William Mastroianni of Port Richey; and two grandsons.
