ZENA M. HURT, 88, of Largo died Friday at home. A native of Chicago, she moved to this area in 1973 from Westchester, Ill. She was a bookkeeper and a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Clearwater. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Sirovatka of Homosassa Springs; a brother, John Venecek of Wheaton, Ill.; a sister, Helen Peterka of St. Petersburg; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. RICHARD F. JAMES, 43, of Clearwater died Friday at home. A native of Sumter, S.C., he moved to this area in 1970. He was an accountant in the window and shutter manufacturing industry. DELBERT E. RAY, 98, of Dunedin died Thursday at Harborside Health Care in Clearwater. A native of Bedford, Canada, he moved to this area in 1958 from Hudson, N.H. JOHN MARTIN RENCKEN JR., 90, of Palm Harbor died Thursday at Mease Hospital Countryside in Safety Harbor. A native of Union City, N.J., he moved to this area 29 years ago from Brookfield, Wis. He was a retired manager of the Royal Globe Insurance Co.'s Wisconsin office, and also had worked in the company's Tampa office. He was a member of East Bay Country Club and Highland Lakes Golf Club. He is survived by his wife, Anne M.; a daughter, Doris R. Bibler of Pewaukee, Wis.; a sister, Eleanor Parmly of Dover, Del.; and two grandchildren. Curlew Hills Funeral Home, Palm Harbor.

WILLIAM FRANKLYN TOD JR., 39, of St. Petersburg died Tuesday at home. A native of Ottawa, he moved to this area in 1990 from St. Catharines, Ontario. He was a program director for a radio station. EDWARD J. ALBATYS, 74, of Port Richey died Friday at National Health Care. A native of Great Barrington, Mass., he moved the area 20 years ago from Brooksville. He was a retired manager for Pan American Airlines and a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, the Aripeka Elks, the Pan American Retiree's Association and the Timber Oaks Homeowner's Association. He was a veteran of the Merchant Marines and a World War II veteran of the Navy and Army Air Corps. He is survived by his wife, Lorena; a son, Joseph of Boca Raton; a daughter, Pat Bowman of Menasha, Wis.; a brother, Zigmond of Louisville, KY.; and one grandchild. Bell Funeral Home, Bayonet Point.

DELLA H. CURRIE, 88, of Zephyrhills died Thursday at home. A native of Lowell, Maine, she moved to this area 24 years ago from West Enfield, Maine. She was a retired teacher. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, the St. Joseph's Catholic Church Women's Club, the Mary Help of Christian Schools, the Tourist Club, the Retired Senior Volunteer Program and worked as a reporter for the Zephyrhills News and a volunteer in the Humana Hospital Pasco Auxiliary. She is survived by her son, Reginald of Lowell; three daughters, Agnes Kays of Zephyrhills, Lois Sprague of Camden, Maine, and Barbara LaPointe of Dover, N.H.; sister, Hazel Dudley of Passadumkeag, Maine; a brother, Clyde Hatch of Zephyrhills; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. JOHNNIE ELDRIDGE JR., 66, of Port Richey died Saturday at Northbay Medical Center, New Port Richey. A native of Ashland, Ky., he moved to this area five years ago from Fairborn, Ohio. He was a retired carpenter and an Army veteran of the Korean conflict. EDWARD SAVAGE LEWIS, 92, of Dade City died Wednesday Columbia Dade City Hospital. A native of Linden, he was a longtime resident of this area. He was a retired owner of a landscape and lawn care company. He is survived by two sons, Edward M. of Hudson and Freddie L. of El Nora, Calif.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. MABEL STILLINGS, 78, of Thonotosassa died Thursday at Crystal Springs Nursing Home. A native of New York City, she moved to the area 15 years ago from Catskill, N.Y. She was a homemaker. DOROTHY DODD, "Dolly", 80, longtime resident and civic activist died Friday. She was a native of Georgia and moved to Tampa in 1919. She was employed as an executive secretary. In 1969, Dodd was named Florida's Beta Sigma Phi Girl of the Year. She was currently serving as president of the sorority's Lambda Master Chapter. In addition, she was active in the Tampa Woman's Club, League of Women Voters, Florida Area Agency on Aging, Florida State Association of Parliamentarians, Tampa Bay Toastmistresses and the American Red Cross. She served as past president of both the Florida Silver-Haired Legislature and International Training in Communication. She began club work through her church and became active in more clubs when her children started school and she joined PTA. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Tampa. She is survived by a son, Robert A. of Rowayton, Conn.; and a grandchild. Curry & Son Funeral Home, Tampa.
