GERTRUDE MARY HOOK, 79, of Hudson died Dec. 2 at Columbia Regional Medical Center at Bayonet Point. A native of Beaver Dam, Wis., she moved to this area 25 years ago from Martin Grove, Ill. She was a retired press operator, and a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Hudson. She is survived by a daughter, Carol Womer of Crystal Lake, Ill.; a brother, Jerry Brown of Genoa City, Wis.; four sisters, Jane Coconate of West Chicago, Ill., Gerry Body of Hanover Park, Ill., Janet Brown of Melrose Park, Ill., and Shirley Shrader of Des Moines, Iowa; and two grandchildren. EDWARD F. MANGELSDORFF, 80, of Zephyrhills died Sunday at home. He moved to the area 25 years ago from Chicago. He was a retired milk route driver and an Army veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Janet; two daughters, Karen Gottschalk and Carol Ann Zygowicz, both of Chicago; five sisters, Louise Hrymkow of Skokie, Ill., Ruth Janek of Boynton Beach, Bernice Stachurski of Norridge, Ill., Lorraine Kreuger of Wheeling, Ill., and Dorothy Clark of Elmwood Park, Ill.; and three grandchildren. HERSHAL R. MATHIS, 59, of Holiday died Sunday at home. A native of Chicago, he moved to this area 10 1/2 years ago from Northlake, Ill. He was a retired firefighter, and member of West Pasco Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Betty; three sons, Edward of Melrose Park, Ill., Raymond of Algonquin, Ill., and Joseph of Holiday; a daughter, Catherine Russell of Boonville, Ind.; his parents, Edward and Abigail; a sister, Gwen Stone of Culver, Ind.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. MARGARET "PEGGY" B. PERDUE, 83, of New Port Richey died Friday at North Bay Medical Center. A native of Redwing, Minn., she moved to this area 26 years ago from Hopkins, Minn. She was a retired realtor, Lutheran, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by a son, James Nelson of Ocala; two daughters, Gwen Ferrazzano of Lutz, and Jane Mayer of Wayzata, Minn.; two sisters, Virginia Ide of Redwing, and Charlotte Buckner of Elsworth, Wis.; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was a milkman for Thompson's Dairy in Washington , D.C., a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army, and a member of Alexandria- Washington Masonic Lodge 22 in Alexandria, Va., and Zion Baptist Church in Chancellorsville, Va.
