NICHOLAS ADAMS, 22, of Tallahassee died Monday at home. A native of Fort Meade, Md., he was a former resident of Brandon. He was a student and Protestant. He is survived by his parents, Steve and Connie of Cleburne, Texas ; a sister, Stephanie of Brandon; and his paternal grandparents, Leonard and Barbara of Zephyrhills. Stowers Funeral Home, Brandon.

MIKE LEONARD BARBER, 77, of Dade City died Friday in Zephyrhills. A native of Colquitt, Ga., he moved to this area 39 years ago from Donaldsonville, Ga. He was a laborer in the citrus industry and a deacon at St. John Missionary Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Cleola; two sons, Jackie of Cocoa and Mike of Zephyrhills; three daughters, Judy Thompson of Tampa, Lillie of Dallas and Pamela Harmon of Germany; and nine grandchildren. STUART E. COLEMAN, 52, of Satsuma died Monday at home. A native of Alameda, Calif., he moved to this area 42 years ago from Eastman, Ga. He was a retired maintenance supervisor. He is survived by his wife, Shirylene Mace; three sons, Cam of Orange Park, Scott of Virginia Beach, Va., and Donnie DeVenny of St. Augustine; a daughter, Sheila Hunter of Port Orange; his parents, W.E. RUBY CONRAD, 85, of Dunedin died Saturday at Dunedin Care Center. A native of Shepherdsville, Ky., she moved to this area in 1981 from Indianapolis. PEARL Y. CRANDALL, 100, of Holiday died Tuesday at Sunshine State Christian Home in Holiday. A native of New York, she moved to this area 49 years ago from Chicago. JOHN "PAUL" CROFT, 47, of Hudson died Monday at Columbia Regional Medical Center at Bayonet Point. A native of Providence, R.I., he moved to this area 10 years ago from North Stonington, Conn. He was a former bridge painter for Local Union 122 in New London, Conn., a Navy veteran of the Vietname War, Catholic and member of American Legion Post 173 in Holiday. He is survived by his wife, Jean; a son, Brian Hahn of Lexington, N.C.; two daughters, Jill Wilson Hensley and Sara Harrison, both of Hudson; his mother, Joan Richmond of Connecticut; his father, John A. of Plainfield, Conn.; a brother, Bob of Olean, N.Y.; a sister, Susan of North Stonington; and a granddaughter. LOCA LELAND HARTMAN, 93, of Holiday died Monday at Integrated Health Services in Tarpon Springs. A native of Clarksburg, W.Va., he moved to this area 30 years ago from Washington , D.C. He was a retired machinist for the U.S. government, Methodist and member of the Masonic Lodge in Gas City, Ind. He is survived by his wife, Margaret; a niece; and two nephews. GEORGE T. KISSOCK, 91, of Port Richey died Tuesday at Hospice House in New Port Richey. A native of Pittsburgh, he moved to this area 25 years ago. He was a retired budget and production supply coordinator for Atlantic Richfield and a member of Brentwood Presbyterian Church in Brentwood, Pa. FRANCES M. KLOHR, 72, of Holiday died Tuesday at Helen Ellis Memorial Hospital in Tarpon Springs. A native of Long Acre, W.Va., she moved to this area 22 years ago from Seaforth, Del. She was a retired secretary to the superintendent of the C & O Railroad in Newport News, Va., and a member of First United Methodist Church in Holiday. FREDA B. LYON, 90, of Port Richey died Wednesday at Columbia Regional Medical Center at Bayonet Point. A native of Rye, N.Y., she moved to this area 10 years ago from Armonk, N.Y. She was a retired teacher for the Knitting Needle in Armonk, member of Port Chester Presbyterian Church in Port Chester, N.Y., and taught knitting for the Lighthouse for the Visually Impaired and Blind in Hudson. IRENE EVELYN MALARA, 71, of New Port Richey died Tuesday at Columbia Regional Medical Center at Bayonet Point. A native of Youngstown, Ohio, she moved to this area 18 years ago from Niles, Ohio. HERBERT CLAXTON, 74, of Largo died Tuesday at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater. A native of Lakewood, N.J., he moved to this area in 1988 from Toms River, N.J. He owned and operated a truck and was a self- employed diesel mechanic. He was a Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, and a recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal with five Oak Leaf Clusters. He was a member of American Legion Post 129 in Toms River and the Teamsters Pioneer Club. He is survived by his wife, Ruth; two sons, Richard of Smithville, N.J., and Walter of Toms River; a daughter, Carole Pakula of Largo; two brothers, William of Lakehurst, N.J., and Harold of Womelsdorf, Pa.; a sister, Alice Hamilton of Salem, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
