ROY CLIFTON WHITEHURST JR.
Tsgt. Roy Clifton Whitehurst Jr., Retired U.S. Air Force, age 67, of 5012 Hagin Drive, Callaway, Fla., passed away Sunday, Nov. 7, 1999, at a local hospital. Mr. Whitehurst has been a resident of Bay County since 1973. He was a building maintenance supervisor for Bay County, served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam era, member of the Parkway Presbyterian Church, is a commissioner of the City of Callaway, director of Bay County Fairgrounds and a member of the VFW. Mr. Whitehurst is survived by his wife: Mrs. Ruth Ellen Whitehurst of Callaway, Fla.; two daughters: Mary Elizabeth Bailey and husband Joseph Dale of Nashville, Tenn., and Susan Dillon and husband Roy Alan of Panama City, Fla.; a son: James Roy Whitehurst of Callaway, Fla.; three grandchildren: Joshua Luke Whitehurst, Whitley Dillon and Caitlin Dillon; a brother: John Edward Whitehurst of Windsor, N.C.; sister: Mary Frances Thigpen of Virginia Beach, Va.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10 at the Parkway Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Reid Cameron officiating. Interment will follow at the Evergreen Memorial Garden Cemetery with full military honors conducted by the Tyndall Air Force Base Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9 at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkway Presbyterian Church Organ Fund.

MAMIE LEE WILLIAMS
Funeral services for Mrs. Mamie Lee Williams, age 90, of 3611 Transmitter Rd., Panama City, Fla., who passed away Friday, Nov. 5, 1999, at a local nursing home, will be held at 10 a.m. today, Nov. 8 at the First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Phil Edwards officiating, with interment following at the Evergreen Memorial Garden Cemetery. Asked to serve as active pallbearers are: Mr. David Williams, Mr. Steve Williams, Mr. Phil Williams, Mr. Chris Williams, Mr. Jackie Galloway and Mr. Willard Galloway.

MELVIN D. CAMPBELL
Melvin D. Campbell, of Panama City Beach, Fla., died at his home on Nov.6, 1999. He was born in Lynchburg, Va., on April 17, 1933. Melvin was a member of the 89th Airborne Division of the U.S. Army. He was employed by Trailways and Greyhound Bus companies until his retirement. He had been a resident of Panama City Beach for the past 10 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Hazel Campbell. He is survived by his wife, Margaret, whom he enjoyed 45 years of marriage with. He is also survived by four sons, Ralph Campbell, Glenn Campbell, John Campbell, Gary Campbell; daughter, Theresa Ridgeway; brother, Dale Campbell; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held today at 11 a.m. in Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gregory George officiating. Those desiring to may make a contribution to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905 in memory of Melvin Campbell.

MILLARD SIDNEY BRICKERD SR.
Mr. Millard Sidney Brickerd Sr., age 89, of 1518 Chandlee Ave., Panama City, Fla., passed away Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1999 in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 15, 1910 in Glenn Dale, Md., to Garretson and Elizabeth Middleton Brickerd. He retired to Panama City in May 1975 from Manchester, Md., after a lifetime of laboring as a farmer and as a welder and truck-body builder. He was a member of the Central Assembly of God Church of Panama City. He was preceded in death by two wives, Mary Fields Brickerd and Gertrude Whitney Rill Brickerd; as well as two sons, Earl Garretson Brickerd and Robert Dennis Brickerd Sr. He is survived by a son, Millard Sidney Brickerd Jr.; daughter, Dorothy Lee Brickerd Snow, both of Panama City; two daughters-in-law, Dorothy Brickerd, of Glen Burnie, Md., and Alice Brickerd, of Tallahassee, Fla.; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m., Nov. 12, 1999 in Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Donald W. Shoots officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening.

DOROTHY MARIE DUNN
Mrs. Dorothy Marie Dunn, 75, of 1510 Chandlee Ave., Panama City, Fla., died Monday, Nov. 8, 1999 at her home. Born in Milton, Fla., on Dec. 2, 1923 she had been a resident of Panama City since 1957. She was the former co-owner of Country Girls' Conoco in St. Andrews. Mrs. Dunn is survived by her daughters, Sarah Jolene Johnson and husband Tommy of Panama City, Davine Marie Hall of Wewahitchka; a son, Norman Rudder Dunn Jr. and wife Doris of San Diego, Calif.; two sisters, Geraldine Suggs and Gwendolyn Duffer both of Pensacola; grandchildren: Dawn Michelle, Dottie Marie, Florida Rose, Norman Rudder III, Joseph Roy, Jack David and Jonathan Roy; and her very special canine, "Reno". Memorilization will be by cremation. A memorial service will be conducted on Thursday, Nov. 11, at 2 p.m. in Southerland Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Steve Southerland II officiating.

LORENE HILL HOLLEY
Lorene Hill Holley, 76, of Panama City, died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1999 in a local hospital. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, W.H. "Punch" Holley of Panama City; daughter, Carolyn Holley Harris of Niceville, Fla.; son, Willis Holley and his wife Pat of Panama City; grandson, Rob Harris; and granddaughters, Lin Byrd and Lori Holley. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Vicki Harris Haupt. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time.

MARY REAUME PARDY
Mrs. Mary Reaume Pardy, 76, of Panama City, Fla., died Monday evening, Nov. 8, 1999 in a local nursing home. Born in Detroit, Mich., she moved here in 1963 and was a bookkeeping secretary and Catholic by faith. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Pardy and a granddaughter, Amy Pardy. She is survived by two sons, Michael Pardy and wife Joan of Birmingham, Ala., and Ken Pardy of Oceanside, Calif.; two grandchildren, Jennifer Pardy and Andrew Pardy. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m. in Southerland Funeral Home Chapel with Father Peter Zalewski officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 6 to 8 p.m.

Mrs. Bulah "Boots" Marie Abbott, age 83, of 10821 Las Vegas St., Youngstown, Fla., died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1999 at a local hospital. She had been a resident of the area since Jan. 1, 1954, coming here from Montgomery, Ala. Mrs. Abbott was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Callaway. She is survived by her husband, Howard C. Abbott of Youngstown, Fla.; daughters, Jewell A. Hance of Youngstown, Fla., and Barbara A. Brown of Valdosta, Ga.; sons, H. A. "Sonny" Abbott of Panama City Beach, Fla., and Larry N. Abbott of Lake Merrill, Fla.; sisters, Bess Baker of Dodge City, Fla., and Jean Cole of Springhill, Kan.; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12, at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Pickerill officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today, Nov. 11, from 6 to 8 p.m.
