Mr. Coot Hill, age 78, of 6813 N. U.S. 231, Bayou George, Fla., went to be with the Lord, Monday, Dec. 6, 1999. He had been a resident of Bay County for 65 years, coming here from Sampson, Ala., and was self-employed by Laird Timber Company as a pulp wooder. Mr. Hill is survived by his wife of 47 years, Doris Hill of Bayou George, Fla.; two sons, Leon Hill and his wife Cindy and Danny Hill, all of Bayou George; one daughter, Elva Kiser and her husband David of Bayou George, Fla.; one brother, Joe Frank Hill of Panama City, Fla.; seven grandchildren: Curtis Hill and his wife Jamie , Ricky Hill, Josh Hill, Shawna Hill, Chris Hill, Kim Kiser , and Jennifer Kiser, all of Bayou George; and three great-grandchildren: Hank, Clint, and Robert Hill, all of Bayou George, Fla. Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Nettie Hill; two brothers: Stance and Johnnie; and four sisters: Cora Lee, Etter, Attie, and Mattie. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today, Dec. 8, at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Albert Hodge officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Asked to serve as active pallbearers are: Edward Hill, Ricky Hill, Curtis Hill, Bobby Hill, Billy Shirah, and Ronnie Parker.

RONALD L. HOLSENBACK
Mr. Ronald L. Holsenback, age 60, of 1032 W. 12th Ct., Panama City, Fla., died Sunday, Dec. 5, 1999 at a local hospital. He was the owner/operator of the Book warehouse and was a member of the Living Word Fellowship. Mr. Holsenback is survived by his wife,Mary Ann Holsenback of Panama City, Fla.; a son, Ronald G. Holsenback and his wife Dawn of Panama City; daughters: Barbara Holsenback of Atlanta, Ga., Elizabeth Holsenback and Leigh Ann Holsenback, both of Panama City; a sister, Martha Holsenback of Tallahassee, Fla.; and grandchildren: Ashley Holsenback, Houston Holsenback, and Natalie Holsenback. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. today, Dec. 8 at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Hayward Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

ARTHUR W. McFADDEN
Mr. Arthur W. McFadden, 85, of Panama City died Monday, Dec. 6, 1999, at his home. He was a life member of Retired Officers Association and the Association of Former Intelligence Officers. Mr. McFadden is survived by his wife, Marcella K. McFadden; and one daughter, Marcella M. Durr and husband, John Stephen, all of Panama City. Memorialization will be by cremation. Interment will be held in Arlington National Cemetery. No local service will be held.

RAYMOND 'SHORTY' PARISH
Mr. Raymond "Shorty" Parish, 78, of Whitfield Hill, passed away Monday morning, Dec. 6, 1999, in Panama City. A native of Liberty County, he had been a resident here for the past 47 years and was retired from A & N Railroad. He was of the Baptist faith and was a good man. Survivors include his brother, Edwin "Punk" Parish and wife Catherine of Bristol; two stepsons, Ronny Adams and wife Ethel of Pearland, Texas , and Bobby Adams Sr. of Whitfield Hill; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. EDT Thursday at White City Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Nick Davis and the Rev. Charles Pettis. Interment will follow in the family plot in Cypress Creek Cemetery. He will lie in state at Comforter Funeral Home from 3 to 7 p.m., and at the church for an hour prior to the funeral.

JOHN FRANK WAGNER SR.
John Frank Wagner Sr., 75, of Panama City Beach, died Monday, Dec. 6, 1999, in a local hospital. He was a retired owner and operator of a refrigeration company. He had been a resident of Panama City Beach for the past 20 years moving here from Iowa. He was preceded in death by his wife, Artha-Ann Wagner. He is survived by a daughter, Sherry Wyant and her husband, Mark, of Gainesville, Fla.; son, John Frank Wagner Jr. of Panama City Beach; two granddaughters, JoAnn Wyant Smith and her husband, Jerry, Wendy Wyant Koford and her husband, Keith, both of Gainesville. There will be no services held locally and burial will be in the Olney Cemetery in Pendleton, Ore.

STEVEN ANDREW WINTERS
Mr. Steven Andrew Winters, 36, of Panama City Beach, died Sunday, Dec. 5, 1999, at his residence. Born in Atlanta, Ga., he had been a resident of Bay County for the past 10 years moving here from Conley, Ga. Mr. Winters was employed by Treasure Island Marina as a fork lift operator and was Baptist by faith. He is survived by his parents, Howard G. and Marie Winters of Panama City Beach; three brothers: Patrick Wayne Upchurch of Panama City Beach, Michael Anthony Upchurch and wife Jane of Panama City Beach, and Robert Bruce Winters of Thomaston, Ga.; two sisters, Vickie Lee Winters of Thomaston, Ga. and Tamara Suzanne Winters of Thomaston and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this afternoon from 3 to 5 p.m.

Mrs. Clio Emanuel Yarbrough, 83, of 2085 N. Sherman Ave., Panama City, Fla., died Monday, Dec. 6, 1999, in a local hospital. She was a lifelong resident of this area, was a homemaker and was Assembly of God. Mrs. Yarbrough lived for her family that she loved very much and they were her life. Her family includes: one daughter, Doris Holmes of Panama City; two grandchildren, Cecelia Blanks and husband Butch of Panama City; Buck Holmes and wife Sharon of Chipley; three great-grandchildren: Jason Blanks, Justin Blanks and Cooper Holmes; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, Dec. 10 at 2:30 p.m. in Southerland Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Lynn Haven Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at their home, 2084 N. Sherman Ave., Panama City, on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.

Donnie Jean Zedaker, 62, of 3653 Kingswood Court, Clermont, died Monday, Dec. 6, 1999. Born in Wewahitchka, Fla., she was a lifelong resident of Florida. Funeral services will be held today, Dec. 8 at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Clermont. Kurfiss Funeral Chapel, 1019 West Ave., Clermont is in charge of the arrangements.

Funeral services for Edwin Earle Boltin, 48, of 7784 Betty Louise Drive, Callaway, who died Monday, December 6, 1999 as a result of an automobile accident, will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. in Carlisle Baptist Church with the Rev. Randy Kuhn officiating. Graveside services will be held Thursday at 1:15 p.m. in Fort Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, with military honors conducted at the graveside.

EDNA ROSE BRISTOW
Edna Rose Bristow, 95, of Panama City, died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 1999 in a Panama City nursing home. She had been a resident of Panama City since 1984, moving here from Topeka, Kan. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Bristow. She is survived by three daughters: Velma Mills and her husband, Walter of Panama City, Dorothy Grace of San Antonio, Texas , Darlene Schreiner and her husband, William of Ft. Worth, Texas ; son, James E. Bristow and his wife, Gloria of Arlington, Texas ,;11 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, Topeka, Kan. Interment will follow in Scranton Cemetery, Scranton, Kansas. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. Those desiring to may make a contribution to Hospice of Bay Medical Center, 615 N. Bonita Ave., Panama City, FL 32401 in memory of Edna Bristow.

BARBARA JANETTE KENDRICK BUSBY
Barbara Janette Kendrick Busby, 56, died on Tuesday at her home in Lynn Haven, following an 18 year battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her husband, F. Howard Busby, and her parents, Seth and Ladye Kendrick. She is survived by her nephew, Christopher Sherouse of Pensacola; her aunt, Mrs. John Barnes, of Ocean Springs, Miss.; her step-nephew and wife, Ronnie and Adrienne Armstrong of Pensacola; her godson, Charles Finch Robertson of Baton Rouge, La.; and her sister, Ladye Constance Armstrong of Pace. Barbara was born on June 22, 1943, in Tampa and moved to Panama City at a young age. She graduated from Bay County High School in 1961 and from Gulf Coast Community College in 1963. Barbara's career included various secretarial and administrative positions for General Electric (Atlanta, Ga.), Pacific Coast Stock Exchange (San Francisco), and Texaco (Atlanta and Houston). Barbara and Howard retired from Texaco in 1982, and returned home to Panama City that same year. Barbara was active in the Gulf Coast Women's Club, where she was a member of both the Arts and Public Affairs Departments. Barbara loved to travel, particularly on Windjammer cruises, and did extensive sailing in the Caribbean. Her travels also included several tours of Europe and numerous trips throughout the U.S. Barbara appreciated the love and support of her many friends, especially Mary Finch, Dianne Lacey, Ruth Olson, Carroll Howell, Susan Hurst and Buddy Martin. A memorial service for Barbara will be held at Wilson Funeral Home in Panama City at 2 p.m. on Saturday. Honorary pallbearers will be Bay High School Class of 1961 Reunion Committee, Ladies Wednesday morning breakfast group, Mr. Austin Haulman, Carroll Howell, Buddy Martin, Gary Marsh, and Wayne Spillers. Barbara's ashes will be scattered at sunset from a Windjammer ship into the Caribbean near the island of Grenada, accompanied by the raising of the sails, the playing of "Amazing Grace", and the firing of a cannon. Memorial contributions may be made to MD Anderson Cancer Center, 1515 Holcombe Blvd, Houston, TX 77030, or to the charity of your choice.
