Funeral services for Vashti Carter Peterson, 85, of Panama City, who died Dec. 26, 1999, in a St. Petersburg, Fla., hospital, will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery in Washington County, Fla. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 5 to 7 p.m. and on Thursday from 12 to 1 p.m.

JOHN BLAINE RADFORD JR.
Mr. John Blanie Radford Jr., age 58, of 8501 Surf Drive, Panama City Beach, Fla., passed away Monday, Dec. 27, 1999, at his home. He had been a resident of Bay County for a year coming from Gadsden, Ala. Mr. Radford Jr. was a boilermaker and was Baptist by faith. Mr. Radford Jr is survived by a son, Mr. James Radford of Panama City Beach, Fla.; and a daughter, Mrs. Sandra Gardener of Ozark, Ala., and four grandchildren.

CONSTANCE 'CONNIE' RAYNOR
Mrs. Constance "Connie" Raynor, 56, of Fond du Lac, Wis., died at her home in Florida on Monday, Dec. 27, 1999. She was a loving wife and mother. Visitation will be held locally this afternoon at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. Mrs. Raynor will be taken back to her home in Wisconsin for funeral services and burial.

Mrs. Marion L. Bergheim, of Panama City Beach, died Wednesday morning, Dec. 29, 1999 in a local hospital. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, Dec. 31, 1999 at 10 a.m. in the Southerland Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Lydick officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9 to 10 a.m. before the service.

DORIS ANN CAMERON
Ms. Doris Ann Cameron, age 59, of 700 Transmitter Road, Panama City, Fla., died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 1999 at her home. She had been a resident of the area for 18 years, coming here from El Paso, Texas . Ms. Cameron was a homemaker and a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church. She is survived by her daughters: Kathy A. Stubbs and her husband Lyadell, Linda M. Huffman and her husband John E., and Melissa Cameron, all of Panama City, Fla.; sons: Edmund J. Mitchell and his wife Dorene L. of Milton, N.H., and Marion J. Mitchell and his wife Cindy L. of Valdosta. Ga.; sisters: Anita M. Starwn of El Paso, Texas and Clarie E. Woods of Dallas, Texas ; a brother, Roger R. Gauthier of North Vassalboro, Maine; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 31, 1999 at St. Dominic Catholic Church with the Rev. Peter Zalewski officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories. The family will receive friends at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home today, Dec. 30, 1999 from 6 until 7:30 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 7 p.m.

JOHNNY LEE CLARK
Mr. Johnny Lee Clark, 46, of Panama City, died Sunday Dec. 26, 1999 at his home. He was a lifelong resident of Panama City where he worked in the print room at the News Herald. He was a Baptist by faith. Mr. Clark is survived by his mother, Adell Clark; his wife, Kay Clark; one son, Johnny Lee Clark, Jr.; one daughter, Heather Clark; three brothers: Tommy, Jesse and Daniel Clark, all of Panama City; seven sisters: Mary Woods, Dorothy Callahan, Brenda Henderson, all of Panama City, Linda Gail Lutz of Pennsylvania , Dianne Petterson of Virginia, Lelia Griggs and Betty Ann Griggs both of Panama City; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held today at 10 a.m. in the Southerland Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Hodges officiating. Interment will follow in the Callaway Cemetery.

WILLIAM A. COSGROVE
Mr. William A. Cosgrove, 77, of Wewahitchka, passed away Monday, Dec. 27, 1999 in Wewahitchka. A native of Biloxi, Miss., he was retired from the U.S. Air Force and had owned and operated a pest control company in Palm Bay until moving to Wewahitchka two years ago. He was a Mason and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Survivors include a sister-in-law, Mary Horton; a brother-in-law, Buddy McLemore Sr.; a good friend, J.T. Brannon, all of Wewahitchka; and several nieces and nephews. Cremation is scheduled.

MAMIE REE DURDEN
Mrs. Mamie Ree Durden, 90, of Panama City, Fla., died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 1999, in a local hospital. Born in Samson, Ala., she moved here in 1942 and was a homemaker. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church and a lifetime member of the O.E.S. Chapter No. 102. Mrs. Durden is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L.R. Canant; her husband, U.V. Durden; three sons, one daughter, one grandson and a sister, Lizzie Mae Whigham. She is survived by one daughter, Sara Hodsdon and husband Jim of Casselberry, Fla.; one great-granddaughter, Kari Michelle Hodsdon of Casselberry; special grandchildren, Brian and Karen Hagan of Casselberry; special great-grandchildren, Emily and Bradley Hagan of Casselberry; special sister, Mary Frances Mixson of Samson, Ala.; a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted today, Dec. 30 at noon in Southerland Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. W. Steve Southerland officiating. Graveside services will follow at 3 p.m. in Travelers Rest Cemetery in Samson, Ala. Honorary pallbearers will be: Bill Quick, Lendy Mack Quick, Myron Whigham, Byron Whigham, Royce Whigham and Sonny McIver.

JOHN ROBERT 'BOB' GREEN
Mr. John Robert "Bob" Green Sr., 75, of Fountain, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 1999 at his home where he lived for 20 years. Bob was born Nov. 5, 1924 in Glennville, Ga., the oldest son of Hiram and Retta Dasher Green. He was in the Merchant Marine during World War II and chief engineer on boats serving in the oil fields later in life. Bob was a member of Fountain Baptist Church, vice president of the Green Hills Fire Department and on the board of directors of the Fountain Community Center. Mr. Green is survived by his wife, Paulette Johnson Green; five sons: Randy, John, Tr., Mickey, Rusty and Rodney Green, all from Fountain; sisters: Hilda Smith of Edgewater, Constance Barnard of Garden City, Ga., and Sybil Altman of Jacksonville; one brother, William H. Green of Tennille, Ga.; 18 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, Dec. 31, 1999 at 2 p.m. in Heisler Hall, the Green Hills Fire Department, with the Rev. David Halstead officiating. Interment will follow in Fountain Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 6 to 8 p.m. Mr. Green's five sons will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Smiley and Bob Bonner.
