Mr. Thomas Ralph Bailey Sr., 79, of 4133 Russell Lane, Panama City, passed away Thursday, Dec. 30, 1999. He had been a resident of Bay County for one year, moving here from Carrabelle. Mr. Bailey was a retired chemical operator for the Union Carbide Co., and was of the Presbyterian faith. He is survived by his wife, Anna Laura Bailey, of Panama City; his sons, Thomas Bailey Jr., of Missoula, Mont., and Bernard Bailey of Hurricane, W.Va.; daughters: Ramona Dickson of Hurricane, W.Va., Joyce Arthur of Scott Depot, W.Va., Delinda Johnson of Clendenin, W.Va., Letha Bohannon of Knoxville, Tenn., and Denice Bailey of Versailles, Ky.; a sister, Romaleta Merical of Charleston, W.Va. Funeral services will be held in Charleston, W.Va., with burial in Sissonville, W.Va.

Mr. Kendall J. Law, 23, of 724 Satsuma Ave., Panama City, departed this life Monday, Dec. 27, 1999. Kendall was a 1994 graduate of Rutherford High School and was a senior education major at Alabama State University in Montgomery, Ala. Kendall was a charismatic, energetic, fun-loving person who enchanted you with his glowing presence and smile. He loved music, traveling and most of all his family. He has touched many lives with his warm and divine personality and will be greatly missed. Kendall leaves to cherish his memory forever, his loving and devoted parents, Mr. James and Mrs. Arcola Law of Panama City; one brother, James E. Law and his wife Shalonda; two nieces, Raven and Kristen Law, all of Atlanta, Ga.; grandparents, Hessie and Lonnie Mixon of Mobile, Ala.; aunts: Dorothy (Kamel) Kennedy of Mobile, Ala., Carolyn (Sam) Tartt of Mobile and Gussie Brinsont of Thomasville, Ala.; great aunts: Esther Evans of Mobile, Ala., Jessie White, Eula Madison, Arlene McShan, all of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Ida Patterson of Birmingham, Ala., Laverne Taylor of Cumberland, Md., Jessie McShan of Mobile, Ala., Irene Law and Mary E. Law of Dixon Mills, Ala.; one uncle, J.D. (Cleola) Watkins of Knoxville, Ala.; devoted cousins: Dr. Karen Tartt of Atlanta, Ga., Kamela Kennedy of Montgomery, Ala., Kimberly Tartt of Birmingham, Ala.; god sister, Pamela Shaw-Sledge of Panama City, Fla.; a dear friend, Shayla Nealy of Panama City, Fla.; and a host of other relatives and sorrowing friends. Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 31, 1999, at 1 p.m. at St. Dominic's Catholic Church. Interment was at Kent Forest Lawn Cemetery.

JO ANN SUGGS FINCH
Mrs. Jo Ann Suggs Finch, 49, of Lynn Haven, Fla., died Friday, Dec. 31, 1999 in a local hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Bay County, was the office manager for Etheridge Cabinet Chop and was Protestant by faith. Mrs. Finch is preceded in death by her husband, John Allen Finch, and her father, Chester Suggs. She is survived by one daughter, Vickie Hogan of Lynn Haven, Fla.; one son, Walter "Peanut" Hill and wife Michelle of Chipley, Fla.; mother, Cora Suggs Brown of Lynn Haven, Fla.; one brother, Amsie Martel Suggs and wife Jo Ann of Chipley, Fla.; four sisters: Geraldine Taunton and husband Rex of Niceville, Fla., Kathyleen Peters and husband John, Dianne Brock and husband Tom, both of Panama City, Fla., Voncile Quick and husband John of Wewahitchka, Fla.; special aunt, Pearl Lee Suggs; five grandchildren, Brian Hill, Jeremiah Hill, Cody Hill all of Chipley, Fla., Matthew Hogan and Tiffany Hogan both of Lynn Haven, Fla.; dear friend, Michael Griffin; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, Jan. 3, 2000 at 2 p.m. in the Family Worship Center with Pastors Keith Barron and Charles Carlton officiating. Interment will follow in Lynn Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 5 to 7 p.m.

BRUCE GREGORY 'GREG' GOLDEN
Mr. Bruce Gregory "Greg" Golden, 53, of Columbus, Ohio, died Thursday evening in a local hospital. Born in Panama City, he moved to Seattle, Wash., in 1978, then moved to Columbus, Ohio, in 1996. He was an administrator with Columbus State Community College in Ohio. Mr. Golden is survived by his parents, Loyce and Alta Golden of Panama City, Fla.; wife, Kathleen Davidson Golden of Columbus, Ohio; one son, Russell Gregory Golden of Irvine, Calif.; one brother, David Reed Golden of Panama City, Fla.; two sisters, Beth Golden McArthur of Panama City, Fla., and Holly Golden Blackmon of Birmingham, Ala.; two nephews and two nieces. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, Jan. 3, 2000 at 10 a.m. in the Southerland Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ed Britten officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this afternoon from 3 to 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the Auburn University Scholarship Fund in memory of Mr. Golden.

ALMA LEE THURMAN LOVE
Mrs. Alma Lee Thurman Love, 80, of Fountain, Fla., died Friday, Dec. 31, 1999 at her daughter's home. Born in Dothan, Ala., she moved here in 1942 and retired from the Bay County School Board after 21 years of service as a bus driver. Mrs. Love was the first lady bus driver in the county and was a member of the Youngstown Baptist Church. Mrs. Love is survived by her husband, Alexander G. Love of Fountain, Fla.; one son, Harold Thurman Jr. and wife Tanya of Fountain, Fla.; one daughter, Wanda L. Odom and husband Wayne of Youngstown, Fla.; one brother, Robert Adams of Atlanta, Ga.; two sisters, Lucille Howell of Tallahassee, Fla., and Jessie Clark of Dothan, Ala.; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2000 at 3 p.m. in the Youngstown Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Youngstown Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.

GEORGE WILLIAM MANDEVILLE SR.
Mr. George William Mandeville Sr., age 76, of 13506 Petunia St., Panama City Beach, Fla., passed away Friday, Dec. 31, 1999 in a local hospital. He had been a resident of Bay County since 1950, coming here from Bonifay, Fla.. Mr. Mandeville served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II, where he was a POW and he received the Purple Heart with an Oak Leaf Cluster, was a member of the DAV, was a former Golden Glove Champion, and a PAL Coach, and was an Avid Florida Gator Fan, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Panama City Beach. Mr. Mandeville is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mrs. Mary B. Mandeville of Panama City Beach, Fla.; his sons: Mr. George W. Mandeville Jr. and his wife Pam of Sneads, Fla., Mr. John Mandeville and his wife Marie of Panama City Beach, Fla., and Mike Mandeville and his wife Tricia of Birmingham, Ala., and Mr. Steve Mandeville and his wife Dewanna of Milton, Fla.; his daughters: Mrs. Linda Scott and her husband Bill of Panama City Beach, Fla., and Mrs. Jeanette Richards and her husband Robert of Dothan, Ala.; 16 grandchildren and one great-grandson; two sisters and one brother. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Jan. 2, 2000 from the graveside at the Forest Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Clarence Surber officiating and military honors conducted by the Fort Rucker honor guard. Interment will follow at the Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Thita N. Thompson, of 11720 Old Bicycle Road, passed away after a long bout with cancer. She was a member of the Cherry Street Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband, Gene; a son, Bart Wood of Defuniak Springs, Fla.; father, Edgar Nystrom of Bankok, Thailand; aunt, Barbara Delfoss and her husband Gary of Lake Wales, Fla.; sister, Cindy Biller & family of Miami, Fla.; two brothers, Ed Nystrom & family of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Kirk Nystrom & family of Niceville, Fla. Memorial services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Cherry Street Church of Christ.

REEVES FELLON WELLS
Dr. Reeves Fellon Wells, age 95, of 805 S. Longwood Circle, passed away Jan. 1, 2000, in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 15, 1904, in Chipley, Fla. Dr. Wells is survived by his wife, Margaret Key Wells, and was preceded in death by his parents, A.L. and Magnolia Williams Wells of Chipley, and two sisters, Thelma Wells Coggin and Marguerite Wells Godfrey, also of Chipley. He is also survived by a nephew, Griff Godfrey and wife, Fairlene, of Chipley, and nieces Madalene Coggin Culpepper of Chipley, and Nan Godfrey Locher and husband, Dick, of Panama City, Fla. Other survivors include numerous cousins, great nephews, great nieces, and great-great nieces and nephews. He was a graduate of Atlanta Southern Dental College, Atlanta, Ga., which later merged with Emory University. He began his dental practice in Panama City in 1926. His practice continued for 49 years. Dr. Wells was a member of the First United Methodist Church and served in many positions at his church. Dr. Wells was a past president of the Panama City Kiwanis Club, a former member of the St. Andrews Bay Yacht Club, the Panama City Camellia Society, and served on the Florida State Board of Dental Examiners. He is renowned in the area and throughout the country as an ardent camellia enthusiast. Active pallbearers are: Dr. Neal Goss, Dr. Gerry Harrison, Dr. David Hallmon, Fred Crosby, Bill Shirley and Emory Ray (alternates: Cranston Pope, Joe Manning, Clyde Watkins, Chuck Dockery). Funeral services will be Jan. 3 at 10 a.m. at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Si Mathison and the Rev. Doug Newton officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.

SUZIE D. (SUE) GLADEN ANDERSON
Mrs. Suzie D. (Sue) Gladen Anderson, 75, of 10338 Highway 2301, Youngstown, Fla., passed away Saturday, Jan. 1, 2000. She had been a resident of Bay County since 1949, coming here from Lepanto, Ark. Sue was a beautician for over 50 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, B.L. and Della Gladen; her husband, Raymond W. Anderson; her daughter, Carolyn Sue Adcoxs; and brother, Olin Gladen. Mrs. Anderson is survived by stepson, Tony Anderson of Crawfordsville, Ark.; grandson, David Anderson of Nashville, Tenn.; sister, Milva Jane Davenport of Waldron, Ark.; brother, Bay Gladen of Morrilton, Ark.; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Anderson will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4 in the Southerland Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Henry Hazard officiating. The family will receive friends this evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dennis Hopkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
