MILDRED M. ROCK
Mrs. Mildred M. Rock, age 84, of 2605 Celia Ave., Panama City Beach, Fla., died Tuesday, April 4, 2000, at a local nursing facility. She had been a resident of the area since 1979, coming here from Cottage Grove, Minn. Mrs. Rock loved to fish for perch and was Methodist by faith. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Charles L. Rock of Panama City Beach; a daughter, Mary Morris of Panama City Beach; sister-in-law, Bea Rock of Olathe, Kan.; four grandchildren: Richard Morris and his wife Marie of Panama City, Chuck Morris and his wife Cindy, and Harold Morris and his wife Prissy, all of Panama City Beach, and Kathy Johns and her husband Davey Hand of Odum, Ga.; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, April 7, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Charles Key officiating. Interment will follow. The family will receive friends at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home today, April 6 from 6 to 8 p.m.

JOE P. ROWLAND
Mr. Joe P. Rowland, age 70, of Panama City, Fla., died Tuesday, April 4, at V.A. Hospital in Biloxi, Miss., after a lengthy illness. He was an honorable Kentucky Colonel and was a retired staff sergeant in the U.S. Air Force, serving during the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam Era. He received the Air Force Accommodation Medal for service during the 1967 tornado at Tyndall Air Force Base. He spent his last 13 years of service as a military policeman at Tyndall Air Force Base. He was of the Baptist faith, a charter member of the VFW No. 8205 in Parker, Fla., and AmVets No. 2298 in Callaway. Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Betty E. Rowland of Panama City; five sons: Joe P. Rowland II and Thomas L. Rowland, both of Panama City, Bobby Reedy of Selma, Ala., Larry Smith of Sweetwater, Ala., and Scotty Allcox of Kinston, N.C.; four daughters: Kathy Reedy Smith of Selma, Ala., Beverly Eden of San Francisco, Calif., Shelby Rowland of St. Petersburg, and Debbie Kelly of Panama City; three brothers: Hubert Rowland of Mexico Beach, Robert Rowland of Evansville, Ind., and Gene Rowlands of Paducah, Ky.; six sisters: Louise Bray, Dean Hendon and Wanda Willoughby, all of Murray, Ky., Carolyn Garland of Union City, Tenn., Jessie Brant of Fort Myers, Fla., and Kay Gafford of Parish, Tenn.; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Cora Rowland and two brothers, C.T. and Eddie Rowland. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Friday, April 7 at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with a military chaplain officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery with military honors. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today, April 6, from 6 to 8 p.m. Honorary pallbearers will be: Carl Grice, Allen "Barney" Watson, Zack Webb, John Caple, John Faulk, Duel Stanley, Jack Skinner, Eugene Stowers, Harry Doiel, Raleigh LaPlant and Buford Anderson.

CLAUDE WILDER
Mr. Claude Wilder, 74, of Youngstown, Fla., died Wednesday, April 5, 2000, at his home. Born in Alabama, he moved here in 1992 from Enterprise, Ala. He was the x-ray director for Humana Hospital in Enterprise, Ala., and was Baptist by faith. He was veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy and retired from Alabama National Guard. He was also a Mason in Alabama. Mr. Wilder is preceded in death by his mother and father, Henry and Ina Wilder. He is survived by his wife, Katharyn Wilder of Youngstown, Fla.; two sons, Wayne Wilder and wife Sharon of Lynn Haven, Britt Wilder of Youngstown; two brothers, Cecil Wilder and wife Sybil of Wetumpka, Ala., John H. Wilder and wife Ann of Opelika, Ala.; three sisters: Evi Mae Henderson of Montgomery, Ala., Francis Posey and husband Preston of Crestview, Fla., Sue Bowdoin and husband Rufus of Andalusia, Ala.; two grandchildren, John Wilder and Erica Wilder. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, April 8, at 2 p.m. in Southerland Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Lynn Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.

ETHEL E. BRADSHAW
Ethel E. Bradshaw, age 77, of 4910 Sharon Dr., Parker, Fla., died Wednesday, April 5, 2000. Mrs.Bradshaw was born June 17, 1922, in Hingham, Mass., to Flora Bell (Lewis) Reynolds and Walter E. Reynolds Sr. She graduated from Hingham High School, Hingham, Mass., in 1940. She graduated from Gordon College of Theology and missions in 1947 with Honors, elected to PHI ALPHA CHI, an honor society for theological students. Mrs. Bradshaw married Thomas Bartlett Bradshaw Sr. on June 19, 1948. Their daughter Joy Ann (Bradshaw) Cressy was born May 16, 1949, and son Thomas Bartlett Bradshaw Jr. was born on June 30, 1954. In 1956, she, her husband, and two children moved to Panama City. Mrs. Bradshaw was a member of Parker United Methodist Church, serving in most offices from Chairman of Administrative Board, Choir Director to Adult Sunday School Teacher. She was active in U.M.W., serving as a local and district President, and also served six years as a Conference Officer. Mrs. Bradshaw leaves behind a son, Thomas B. Bradshaw Jr. and his wife, Sharon, of Panama City.; a daughter, Joy Ann Cressy of Panama City; a sister, Flora Bell Cushing of Hingham, Mass.; brothers, Frank Reynolds of Weymouth, Mass., and Everett Reynolds of Springfield, Ill.; a granddaughter, Chelsea Bradshaw of Panama City; and a grandson, Christian Bradshaw of Panama City. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter E. Reynolds Jr. and John Atwood; two sisters, Emma Lebet and Dorothy Reynolds; and Mrs. Bradshaw's husband, Thomas B. Bradshaw Sr. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 8, at Parker United Methodist Church, 908 Tyndall Parkway, Parker, Fla., with the Rev. Charles Avery and assisted by the Rev. Gary Daniel. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Honorary pallbearers are U.M.W. Women. The family will receive friends at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home today, April 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. Special thanks to Dr. Mahmood and his staff, Bay Medical Center, Emerald Coast Hospice, all her good friends at Parker United Methodist Church who helped her, also a thank you to all the love and support from Joy's co-workers and friends at Boyd Brothers, Inc. and her bosses for letting her stay home with her mother at the end. BERNADETTE CEASAR
Ms. Bernadette Ceasar, 40, of 1206 Transmitter Rd. died Thursday, March 30 in Gulf Coast Medical Center. She was a lifelong native of Panama City, She was a member of Carter's Temple where she worked faithfully in many capacities. She was preceded in death by a brother, Willie Louis Ceasar; and sisters, Mrs. Ludenig Ceasar and Mrs. Ester Golden. She leaves to mourn three loving children: Adreus Ceasar, Iceney Ceasar and Desmond Davis; one grandson, Tyree Ceasar; father and mother, Mack and Estelle Ceasar of Panama City; four brothers; Mr. James Ceasar, Mr. Kenneth Ceasar (Miko), Casey Lawrence (Cindy) all of Panama City, and Mr. Mack Ceasar Jr. (Catherine) of Ft. Lauderdale; special brother, Elder Willie Golden of Panama City; four sisters: Mrs. Loretha Shivers (Mackie) of Fort Lauderdale, Mrs. Cheryl Jones (Edward) of Wewahitchka and Ms. Linda Foye and Ms. Shwanna Ceasar both of Panama City; sister-in-law, Mrs. Dorethe Ceasar of Milwaukee, Wis.; eight aunts: Mrs. Luvenia Dunklin (Charlie) of Panama City, Mrs. Betty Stanley of Winter Park, Mrs. Gertrude Turner of Panama City, Mrs. Mary McKinnon (Robert) of Crystal River, Fla., Mrs. Inella Mathis of Fort Lauderdale, Mrs. Louisa Ceasar of Valdosta, Ga., Mrs. Ceola Williams (W.L.) of Miami, Mrs. Irene Koonce of Blountstown; two uncles, Mr. Jimmie Turner (Linnie) of Milwaukee and Mr. A.J. Mathis of Panama City; and two special friends, Ms. Callie Smith and Nilah Mashburn; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, sorrowing friends and the family of Carter's Temple. Funeral services for Ms. Ceasar will be held Saturday, April 8, at 11 a.m. in Neal's Temple First Born Church of the Living God with Bishop S.J. Williams, pastor and Elder Bradford Johnson, officiating. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery. Public visitation will begin this afternoon at the funeral home from 1 to 8 p.m. The remains will lie in state one hour prior to services at the church. DEBORAH FAYE DAVEY
Mrs. Deborah Faye Davey, age 50, of 5406 Sunset Ave., Panama City Beach, Fla., died Tuesday, April 4, 2000, at a local hospital. She has been a resident of the area for 17 years, coming here from South Carolina. Mrs. Davey was a veteran nurse in the U. S. Army, a 1969 graduate of Rutherford High School, and Catholic by faith. She is survived by her husband, Raymond L. Davey of Panama City Beach; two sons, Stacey Davey and his wife Amanda, and Christopher Davey and his wife Kametrice, all of Panama City Beach; and a brother-in-law, Robert M. Sitch of Pensacola. Mr. David Keel, age 54, of 1535 Donna Ave, Callaway, FL, died Wed., April 5, 2000 at his home. He served for 25 years in the U. S. A. F. and retired as a Senior Master Sergeant. Mr. Keel is survived by his wife: Linda Keel of Callaway, FL; a daughter: Diane Sivard and her husband Daryl of Murray, NE; a son: Scott Keel of Lincoln, NE; two step-sons: Brian Peasland of Sioux Falls, SD and Michael Peasland and his wife Sandra of Grand Forks, ND; and grandchildren: Michael Sivard, Meagan Sivard, and Nathan Peasland. Mr. John Franklin Hall, age 29, of 5 Joseph Cir., Southport, Fla., died Wednesday, April 5, 2000, at a local hospital. He has been a lifetime resident of the area. Mr. Hall was of the Protestant faith and served his country in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Hall liked to ride in the woods in his jeep, even if it meant getting stuck. He loved hunting and fishing and FSU football. Mr. Hall is survived by his wife, Tammy Hall of Southport; a daughter, Cassidy Hall of Southport; a son, Donovan Hall of Southport; his parents, Diane and Jesse Adair of Youngstown and James and Gloria Hall of Southport; sisters, Cleland Canfield of Chipley and Grace Hall of Southport; brothers: James Hall of Springfield, Jamie Hall of Oregon, Jeremy Hall and Matthew Hall, both of Southport; father and mother-in-law, Bennie and Johnnie Newton of Springfield; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many friends. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 8, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens with the Rev. John Ramsey officiating. Interment will follow. Asked to serve as pallbearers are: Greg Creel, Lee Etheridge, Joe Hall, Bill Mixon, Gary Newton, and Jonathan Mixon. The family will receive friends at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home today, April 7, from 7 to 9 p.m. The family will be staying at the home of Bennie and Johnnie Newton, 806 Forest Dale Ave., Springfield, Fla.

Deborah Ann Johns, 43, of Fountain, died Tuesday, April 4, 2000, in a car accident. She was a shift supervisor for a restaurant. She had been a resident of this area for 20 years, moving here from New Orleans. She is preceded in death by her parents, Macie Moore Dixon and Aaron Lewis Dixon Sr.; brother, Aaron Lewis Dixon Jr.; sister, Carla Jo Dixon; and nephew, Christopher Michael Dixon. She is survived by her husband, Gary L. Johns of Fountain; five children: Joseph Jason Enfinger of Panama City, Jennifer Lynn Enfinger of Fountain, Kimberly Beth Hutto of Fountain, Michael Ashley Johns of Panama City, and Joshua Mercer Johns of Port St. Joe; one grandchild, Damien Trevor Brown of Youngstown; brother, Gary Michael Dixon of Bolton, N.C.; two sisters, Sandra (Sandy) Jones of Panama City, Pamela Dixon Tart of Dunn, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Carden officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Lettie C. Thomas, 79, of 524 Sixth St., Port St. Joe, Fla., died Wednesday morning, April 5, 2000, in a local nursing home. Born in Noma, Fla., she moved to Port St. Joe in September of 1939. She was a homemaker and Protestant by faith. Mrs. Thomas is survived by one son, Donald Thomas and wife Vicky of Port St. Joe; two daughters, Eva Montez Dandy and husband Jimmy of Mexico Beach, Fla.; Hazel Land and husband Gerald of Ponce De Leon; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, April 8, at 11 a.m. EST in United Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Larry Wells officiating. Interment will follow in Holly Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 6 to 8 p.m.
