DOROTHY M. HASKINS
Mrs. Dorothy M. Haskins, 81, died Tuesday, April 11, 2000, in St. Petersburg, Fla. Born in Eimsworth, Pa., she moved there in 1982 from Elyria, Ohio. She was an executive secretary for Huntington National Bank, Cleveland, Ohio, and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Lynn Haven. She was also a member of the Eastern Star. Eastern star services will be held tonight at 7:30 at Southerland Family Funeral Home. Mrs. Haskins is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Haskins. She is survived by one son, Richard Haskins of St. Petersburg; two daughters, Phyllis Freetly of Lake St. Louis, Mo., and Susan Cain of Berea, Ohio; one twin sister, Doris Gumell of Bethel Park, Pa.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, April 15, at 10 a.m. in Southerland Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight from 6 to 8 p.m.

FLOYD B. 'TOBY' MEAD
Graveside funeral services for Mr. Floyd B. "Toby" Mead, age 69 of Callaway, who died Tuesday, April 11 will be held at 10 a.m. today at Greenwood Cemetery with the Rev. Wayland D. Whitton officiating. Burial will follow. The family will meet at the home of Frances Fox, 121 Fox Avenue, in Callaway.

WILLIAM L. ROBINSON
Mr. William L. "Roy" Robinson, 92, of Panama City, Fla., died Tuesday evening, April 11, 2000, at his residence. Born in Berrydale, Fla., he moved here in 1942 from Pensacola, Fla. He was a heavy equipment operator and a member of St. Andrews Baptist Church. He was also a member of International Union of Operating Engineers and St. Andrews Masonic Lodge. Mr. Robinson is preceded in death by his wife, Esther Brake Robinson. He is survived by three daughters: Betty J. Weeks and husband Charlie, Joanne R. Douglas and husband Bill, all of Panama City, Barbara J. Robinson of Tallahassee; one sister, Lela Mae Sanders of Pensacola; ten grandchildren: Billy Douglas, Jennifer Douglas, Kay Douglas, Pam Douglas, Esther Douglas, Debbie Douglas, Cynthia Capps, James Capps, Bob Capps and Richard Capps; 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted today, April 14, at 2 p.m. in Southerland Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

J. FRANK CHURCHWELL
Mr. J. Frank Churchwell, age 78, of Panama City, Fla., died Wednesday, April 12, 2000, at Bay Medical Center. He was born March 7, 1922, in Holmes County, Fla., to George and Ruby Churchwell. He was the owner of Churchwell Insurance and Real Estate. He was a member of Bay County Independent Insurance Agent's Association, past member of Bay Co. Board of Realtors, the Panama City Association of Life Underwriters, a past board member of United Cerebral Palsy, a past member of the Downtown Improvement Board, a member of Panama City Lion's Club with perfect attendance for 35 years, a Shriner, and a member and chairman of the board of deacons of Cove Baptist Church. Mr. Churchwell served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1941-1944, serving during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Juanita Churchwell of Panama City; sons: Stephen Churchwell and his wife Barbara of Panama City, Larry Churchwell of Panama City, Mike Churchwell and his wife Janet of Greenhead, Gerald Prescott and his wife Frances, Erwin Prescott and his wife Merelene, and Tommy Prescott and his wife Judy, all of Panama City; daughters: Ann Speedy and her husband Ron of Stone Mountain, Ga., Robbie Culpepper of Lynn Haven; brothers: Guy Churchwell of Panama City Beach, Carl Churchwell of Panama City, and Paul Churchwell of Panama City Beach; sisters: Ethel Andrews of Panama City, Edith Harford of Sebring, Fla., and Frances Prescott of Panama City; daughter-in-law, Sharon Churchwell of Panama City; grandchildren: Teresa Churchwell, Dawn Carty, Stephen Churchwell Jr. and his wife Christi, Jimmy Churchwell, Allison Culpepper and her fiance' Jeffrey Camp, Melissa Culpepper, Lesley Churchwell, Tyler Churchwell, Jennifer Churchwell, Logan Churchwell, Michael Churchwell, Kriste Larmore, Shane Prescott, Patches Prescott, Matthew Prescott, Dawn Trawick, Heather Prescott and David Trawick; great-grandchildren: Olivia Churchwell, Hannah Larmore, Christian Prescott, Casey and Corbin Larmore. Mr. Churchwell was preceded in death by his first wife, Alice Churchwell, who died Feb. 13, 1973. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m today, April 15, at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. J.W. Hunt and the Rev. Adolph Bedsole officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Asked to serve as active pallbearers are: Tyler Churchwell, Stephen Churchwell Jr., Jimmy Churchwell and Jeffrey Camp. Honorary pallbearers will include: Logan and Michael Churchwell, Bob Sandifer, Lewis White, Sam Rowe, L.W. Johnson, Carl Russ, John Coleman, Dr. Bill Abbott, Bubba Nelson, John Gheesling, Don Heaton, Harold Bazzell, Lane Fowler, Riley Doss, Alonzo Hudgins Jr. and James Lewis.

GRACIE LYNN CLARK
Mrs. Gracie Lynn Clark, age 87, of Dothan, died Thursday, April 13, 2000, at Flowers Hospital following an extended illness. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. today, April 15, at Big Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Herbert Whatley officiating and Ward-Wilson Funeral Home of Dothan directing. The family will receive friends following the services at Big Creek United Methodist Church. At other times, the family will be at Mrs. Clark's home, 1848 Denton Road, Dothan. Mrs. Clark was retired from Bay Line Railroad Company. Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her parents, William Marvin and Annie Laura Lee Lynn; husband, D.P. Clark; sisters, Annie Will Lynn, Leona Dick and Mary Dell Cleveland; brothers, Marvin F. Lynn and Waymon E. Lynn. Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

HOWARD COBB
Mr. Howard Cobb, age 84, of 5806 Tram Road, Panama City, Fla., died Thursday, April 13, 2000, at a local nursing facility. He had been a resident of the area since 1938, coming here from Graceville, Fla. Mr. Cobb was a logging job foreman for International Paper Co., Woodlands Division. He was a member of Bear Creek Assembly of God and was choir leader for 35 years. Mr. Cobb is survived by his wife, Gladys Cobb of Youngstown, Fla.; daughter, Brenda Daniel and husband F.M. of Panama City; sons, Harry Cobb and his wife Martha of Tallahassee and Michael Cobb and his wife Elethea Ann of Panama City; a brother, Al Cobb of Panama City; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. today, April 15, at Bear Creek Assembly of God with the Rev. Phil Daniels and the Rev James Raley officiating. Interment will follow at Youngstown Cemetery. Asked to serve as active pallbearers are: Bryan Cobb, Stacy Cobb, Andy Cobb, Eric Cobb, Keith Hall, Rick Robbins, Tony Teas and Drew Robbins. Honorary pallbearers will include: Grady Hood, Bill Hickman, Archie Creamer, Willard Sellers, Coy Dean and Russell Beach. Donations may be made to Bear Creek Assembly of God Family Life Center.

Carol Sue Hughes Hartley, 70, of Jay, Fla., formerly of Bayou George, died Thursday, April 13, 2000, in a Pensacola hospital. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Hartley, and her brother, George Hughes. She is survived by two daughters, Jo-Carol Golson and her husband Jim of Wewahitchka, Lee Cassady and her husband Tim, of Jay; five grandchildren: Neva Butler of Apalachicola, Dion Cox of Virginia Beach, Va., Dana Golson of Port St. Joe, T.J. Cassady and Cara Cassady, both of Jay; one great-grandchild, Callie Cox of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Marion Barnes and her husband Harry of Panama City, Erma Stentz and her husband Don, of Murfreesboro, Tenn; brother-in-law, Len Hartley of Panama City; sisters-in-law, Annie Maude Phillips of Panama City and Gail Hartley of Lakeland, Fla. Graveside funeral services will be held today at 3 p.m. in First Baptist Church of Cottondale Cemetery, Cottondale, with Randy Butler officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 11 a.m. to noon.

SHY'KEEMMIA ALEXIS TY'ASIA MARSHALL
Shy'Keemmia Alexis Ty'Asia Marshall, a precious angel, was born one of a twin to Melissa A. Marshall on Dec. 11, 1999, in Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Fla. This angel was born fighting for her life. She fought a good fight until God called her home to take her to rest on April 8 at 2:30 p.m. She leaves to mourn her loving devoted mother, Melissa Marshall; a beloved brother, Shakeem Elijah; and a loving sister, Aalyssa Kiasia, all of Panama City; a devoted grandmother, Mertice Ann Marshall; a caring aunt, Sharita Marshall, both of Lynn Haven; grandfather, the Rev. Steve (Katherine) Marshall of Panama City; and a host of cousins, other relatives and close friends. Graveside services will be held today, April 15, at 1 p.m. in Hillside Cemetery at the corner of W. 23rd Street and Lisenby. The family will receive friends at 2437 E. 11th Street, Apt. C-103.

BONNIE FAYE SCOTT
Mrs. Bonnie Faye Scott, age 80, of 3335 E. Game Farm Road, Panama City, Fla., passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2000, at a local nursing home. She was a native of Enterprise, Ala., moving to Panama City in 1956. Mrs. Scott was a faithful Jehovah's Witness and a member of the East Congregation on 11th Street. She was a very active teacher of the bible. She was a factory worker, formerly employed by Sessions Peanut Butter Factory in Enterprise. She was an accomplished multi-media artist, working in oil, water color and pencil. She enjoyed yard sales and flea markets. She is survived by her sister, Selma Bowden and her husband Henry of Enterprise; a sister-in-law, Lila Kate Helms of Enterprise; a grandson, Terry W. Reeves and his wife Sharon of Johnstown, Ind.; a stepson, Frank Scott and his wife Linda of Southport; a stepdaughter, Dorothy Jean Scott Merritt of Hiland Park; a daughter-in-law, Carrie Reeves of Picayune, Miss.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton "W.C." Scott, and a son, Carroll W. Reeves. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 21, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, East Congregation on 11th Street with Bro. Glenn Finley officiating.

GERTRUDE PATRICIA WILLIAMS
Gertrude Patricia Williams, age 91, of Chipley, Fla., passed away Thursday, April 13, 2000, at Chipley. She had been a resident of Chipley since 1926. She was of the Methodist faith and past member of United Daughters of Confederacy. Funeral service will be Sunday, April 16, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Brown Funeral Home with the Rev. Cecil Jackson officiating. Committal service will follow at 4 p.m. in Greenwood Cemetery in Panama City with Brown Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends today, April 15, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Chapel of Brown Funeral Home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Carmichael Williams. Survivors are daughters Patricia Williams Baldwin and her husband Charles of Panama City, Joanna Williams Warren and her husband Gordon of Chipley, Rebecca Williams Daughtery and husband John of Chipley; sister, McCall Brown and husband Dave of Jacksonville; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
