Kevin was a talented house painter and worked with Tim Matthews Painting Company for the past 15 years. He has worked on some of the most luxurious homes in our area and was well respected for his fine work and attention to detail. He was a unique individual and he truly lived by the words "To Thine Own Self Be True." He always gave to those in need and kept little in life for himself. He was a shining example of how it is better to give than to receive. Those whose lives he touched will never be the same. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Anne Claudia Grant; brothers: Billy Grant, David Charles Grant and friend Debbie Bray, Dock Brown Grant and friend Debbie Knight; sisters: Geraldine Posey and her husband Harold Posey, Claudia Irene Nail and her husband Frank Nail, all of Panama City, Fla.; nephews: Jamie Posey, Gary Magill, Erin Snyder, and Luke Knight; nieces: Tracy Williams and her husband Scott and their children, Brayden and Riley, Tammy Grant and Cassie Lee Nail. He was preceded in death by his father, Alton Eugene Grant Sr., and his brother, Alton Eugene Grant Jr. One of Kevin's proudest accomplishments was the chance to be a step-parent to Cindy, Tiffany, and Josh. Each of these children took a little piece of his heart and they all knew he loved them. He truly treasured his time spent with them. He also leaves behind a very special friend, Trina Carroll. Special mention should be made to Carolyn Carraway. She loved Kevin like a son and was there for him until the very end. God bless you Carolyn. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 19, at Lynn Haven Cemetery. Services will be conducted by Tony Lowe, a very special friend to Kevin. Tony invites any one of Kevin's friends to contribute to the service if they would like to. Honorary pallbearers will include: Jimmy Carraway, Howard Carraway, Pam Carraway, Tom Webster, Jerry Mills, Timmy Matthews, Greg McCleskey, Johnny Pascal, Ammon Goode, Carl Jr. Roberts, Wayne Roberts, Danny Miller, Edward Knight, Buck Foster, Rusty Foster, James Foster, David Fletcher, David Farmer, James Ward, Harlan Adams, Steve McNeil, George Ward, Dennis Mills, Brady Mills, Jon Mills, Tony Lowe, Walt Edwards, Steve Mills, Richard Carraway, T. All friends and family are welcome to join us in celebrating the life of Kevin Grant.
