Mr. Don (Donnie) David Long, 57, of Tallahassee, Fla. died Friday, April 14, 2000, at Shands Hospital, in Gainesville, Fla. He was born Jan. 8, 1943, in Twilight, Okla., to David D. and Jackie Louise Long of Panama City. Don grew up and went to school in Panama City, graduating in the class of 1961 from Bay High School. He is preceded in death by his father, Mr. David D. Long and survived by his son, Don David Long Jr. and wife Maria; two stepchildren and his first grandchild soon to be born, of Sebring, Fla.; his mother, Jackie Louise Long, Cove Manor Retirement Home, Panama City; his brother, Ronnie Long of Pensacola; his sister, Mrs. Connie Ryerkerk, of Lynn Haven, and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at St. Marks Lighthouse, in St. Marks, Fla., on April 22 at 2 p.m. (EST).

JOYCE M. MALONE
Mrs. Joyce M. Malone, age 74, of 500 David Ave., Springfield, Fla., passed away Sunday, April 16, 2000, in her home. She was born in Seneca Falls, N.Y., and was a resident of Panama City for 28 years. Joyce was a devoted mother and dedicated member of St. Dominic Catholic Church. At age 54 she earned her bachelor of arts in communication arts. Joyce Malone was the secretary for the DCCW, Publicity Chair and former President of the Alter Society on the Committees for Anti-Pornography and Pro-Life, and a member of the Choir. She is survived by her three sons and seven daughters: Michael S. Malone and his wife Barbara, Cheryl Malone, Thomas Malone, Lynn Weeks and her husband Jack, Jeanne Malone-Chowning and her husband Mark, Joyce Malone, Janice Reyes and her husband Gilbert, Margaret Malone and her husband Arthur Yoshinaga, Joanne Malone, and Kevin Malone; eight grandchildren: Michael and John Malone, Shannon and DennisbWeeks, Gabriel, David, and Benjamin Reyes, Matthew Chowning, and Tommy Malone. She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Malone in 1974 and by her sons, Dennis D. Malone in 1974 and Timothy J. Malone in 1975. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 19, at St. Dominic Catholic Church with the Rev. Msgr. William Crowe and Father Peter Zalewski officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home today, April 18, from 6 to 8 p.m. with a Rosary service to be held at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Burse Club or St. Vincent De Paul's Society of St. Dominic Church.

Graveside funeral services for Clara Elizabeth O'Bryant, 93, of 2416 Joan Ave., Panama City Beach, who died Friday, April 14, 2000, in a local hospital, will be held today at 10:30 a.m. in Evergreen Memorial Gardens with Joel Graben officiating.

LEE 'L.L.' BENNETT JR.
Mr. Lee (L.L.) Bennett Jr., age 80, of Panama City Beach, Fla., died Monday, April 17, 2000, at a local hospital. He had been a resident of the area for 14 years, coming here from Rex, Ga. Mr. Bennett was Baptist, a 32nd degree Mason, and served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard. He is survived by his son, Lee L. Bennett III and his wife Brenda of Stockbridge, Ga.; daughters, Patt Roberts and her husband Jon of Hoover, Ala., and Dianne McDonald and her husband John Hood of Morrow, Ga.; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Marguerite Strickland Bennett and a granddaughter, Lynn Hood; and a grandson, Michael Allison Hood. Those desiring may make a contribution to Fellowship Baptist Church Building Fund, 2501 N. Michigan Ave., Panama City, FL 32405. Mr. Bennett will be sent to Brewer and Wiley Funeral Home, Gainesville, Ga., for burial.

OLLIE M. BOARD
Ollie M. Board, 82, of Southport, died Sunday evening at his home. Mr. Board was a native of Ekron, Ky., but lived in the Panama City area for many years. Mr. Board was a veteran of the United States Navy, and was later self-employed as a local cabinet maker. His cremation remains will be interred in California, next to his wife Lorraine, who preceded him in death.

Memorial services for Mr. Joe C. Bryan, age 65, of 5705 Katherine St., Callaway, Fla., who died Saturday, April 15, 2000, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 20, from Kent-Forest Lawn Chapel. LISA R. DAVIS
Ms. Lisa R. Davis, 41, of Panama City Beach, Fla., died Saturday, April 15, 2000, at her home. Born in Evergreen Park, Ill., she moved here in 1986 from Littleton, Colo. She was manager of County Seat in Panama City Mall and was a Christian. Ms. Davis is survived by her parents, George and Majoree Rung of Panama City Beach; one daughter, Melissa M. Davis of Panama City Beach; one brother, George F. Rung III and wife Christine of Mokena, Ill.; one sister, Krista M. Graziano of Frankfort, Ill.; three nephews: Anthony Graziano, Timothy Graziano and Ricky Rung; two very special friends, Joyce Vanselow and Heidi Ladewig of Panama City Beach. Funeral services will be conducted today, April 19, at 7 p.m., in Southerland Funeral Home with the Rev. Ed Britton officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home before the service from 5 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an educational fund set up for Ms. Davis' daughter at Peoples First Bank of Panama City Beach.

JOHN C. GARVIN
Mr. John C. Garvin, 72, of Panama City Beach, Fla., died Sunday, April 16, 2000, at his home. Born in Spartenburg, S.C., he moved here in the late 1950s. He was a retired draftsman with Bay County Planning Department. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Panama City Beach, was a member of NRA and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the U.S. Army. Mr. Garvin is preceded in death by his mother, Helen Andersen, and one son, Luke Townsend. He is survived by his wife, Pat Garvin of Panama City Beach; one son, Brian Garvin and wife Waneda of Port St. Joe; two daughters, Ramona Garvin, Anita Griffin and husband Jarod, all of Panama City Beach. Funeral services will be held today, April 19, at 4 p.m. in First Baptist Church of Panama City Beach with Dr. Jerry Weaver officiating. Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday in Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham, Ala.

WILLIAM DAVID NEVILLE
William David Neville, 36, of Lynn Haven, Fla., died Monday, April 17, 2000, in his home. He had been a resident of Bay County since 1982 moving here from Michigan. He was a cabinetmaker. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Neville; daughter, Whisper Kariann Marie Neville, both of Lynn Haven; parents, George and Marie Neville of Phoenix, Ariz.; two brothers, Ronald Neville of Phoenix, Michael Neville of Severn, Md.; two sisters, Kim Salo, Kari Neville both of Phoenix, and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. in Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bruce Raley officiating.
