Mr. Earl R. O'Melia, 59, of Lynn Haven died Wednesday, April 22, 2000 at a local hospital. Born in Cranston, R.I., he moved here in 1995 from Gwinn, Mich. He was a retired civil service worker and a member of the American Legion in Lynn Haven and was Catholic by faith. Mr. O'Melia is preceded in death by his parents, James and Leah O'Melia. He is survived by his wif, Bonnie K. O'Melia of Lynn Haven; two sons, Paul O'Melia and wife Sherry of Woodbridge, Ill., and Glen O'Melia and wife Jennifer of Phoenix, Ariz.; daughter, Michele Harrell and husband John of Mountain Home, Texas ; sister, Barbara Coleman and husband Frank of Newport, R.I.; grandchild, Andrew O'Melia of Woodbridge, Ill.; and nephew, Mark Coleman of Newport, R.I. Graveside services will be conducted Monday, April 24, 2000 at 10 a.m. in the Lynn Haven Cemetery with Father Marty Bratek officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 5 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association in memory of Mr. O'Melia.

DORIS PARKER SKINNER
Doris Parker Skinner, 90, of Archer, Fla., died Saturday, April 22, 2000 at Archer. Born in Lacrosse, Fla., she moved here in 1925. Ms. Skinner was a retired teacher and restaurant owner. She was a member of Archer Chapter No. 138 Order of The Eastern Star and member of Archer First United Methodist Church. She is survived by daughter, Marilyn S. Silcox of Panama City; son, Howard Odell Skinner of Archer; and sister, Dorothy Ailstock of Archer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard B. Skinner and her son Icey Walter Skinner. Mrs. Skinner had nine grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Mrs Cleotra Mae Wolf, age 70, of 3113 E. 2nd St., Panama City, Fla., died Friday, April 22, 2000 at her home. She has been a resident of the area for 42 years, coming here from Defuniak Springs, Fla., and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Wolf is survived by her son, Hershel M Wolf Jr. and his wife, Deborah of Panama City, Fla.; a granddaughter, Shana Wolf of Panama City, Fla.; two sisters, Nell Hall of Defuniak Springs, Fla., and Clydus Sherrer of Defuniak Springs Fla.; two brothers, Roy Rhodes of Panama City, Fla., and Billy Ray Rhodes of Defuniak Springs, Fla.; and several neices and nephews; honorary family member, Doris Hundley and family of Panama City, Fla.; Sheryl Fowler and family of Chipley, Fla.; Greg Gordan and family of Panama City, Fla. Funeral services will be held 12 noon, Tuesday, April 25, 2000 at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Henry Hazard officiating. Interment will follow at the Sandy Creek Baptist Church Cemtery in Ponce De Leon, Fla. The family will receive friends at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home today, April 24, 2000 from 6 to 8 p.m.

JAMES OTIS YEAGER JR.
James Otis Yeager Jr., 69, of Panama City Beach, died Friday, April 21, 2000 at a local hospital. He was a retired owner of a manufacturing plant in Texas . He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He had been a resident of Panama City Beach for five years after moving here from McGregor, Texas . He enjoyed being out on the water in his boat, The China Night. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Iva Mae Worth Yeager of Panama City Beach; son, James Worth Yeager and his wife Monica of Mobile, Ala.; three daughters: Deborah Matson and husband James of Sugarland, Texas , Melinda Kaye McCollum and husband Earl of Copperas Cove, Texas , Lisa Nowalk and husband Jeff of Panama City Beach; brother, Franklin Yeager and wife June of McGregor, Texas ; uncle, Garland Yeager of Provo, Utah; six grandchildren: Joshua Mattlage, Alex Matson, Morgan Yeager, Hayley Yeager, Nathan Nowalk and Hannah Nowalk; two nephews, Mark Yeager and Don Yeager; and niece, Ruth Yeager. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Texas . Those desiring to may make a contribution to the Shriners, The Boys' and Girls' Club of Panama City Beach or the American Heart Association in memory of James Yeager.

LOUIS F.YOUNG
Mr. Louis F. Young, age 77, of Lynn Haven, Fla., died Friday, April 21, 2000 at his home. He moved to Panama City Beach with the U.S. Coast Guard and patrolled the beaches in World War II. He was born January 7, 1923 in Des Moines, Iowa and lived in Texas from a small child until he joined the Coast Guard. He lived in Lynn Haven for over 50 years coming here from Seadrift, Texas . He loved to garden and he loved children. Mr. Young was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lynn Haven, Fla. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Teresa Standford. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Eldora Young of Lynn Haven, Fla.; daughter, Shirley Davis and her husband Ralph of Collinsville, Ala.; son, Jamie Young and his wife, Pat of Lynn Haven, Fla.; son in law, Luther E. Stanford Jr., of Panama City, Fla.; grandchildren: Bobby Wayne Hall and his wife Beverly, Cheryl Combs and her husband Randy, Ricky Hall and his wife LouAnn, Leann Goza and her husband Stacy, Kim Hamer and her husband Tim, Krystal Beauchamp and her husband Brad, Luther E. Standford III and his wife Trinity; 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 24, 2000 at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James A. Kirkland officiating. Interment will follow at the Lynn Haven Cemetery. Asked to serve as pallbearers are: Aubrey Gilbert, Willis Nelson, Floyd Nelson Dewayn Newton, Charles Tharp, Randy Combs, Ricky Hall and Tim Hamer. Family will receive friends at the Kent- Forest Lawn Funeral Home today, April 23, 2000 from 2 to 4 p.m.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lyndell Ruth Dudley, 67, of 5125 Cherry St., in Panama City, who passed away Friday, April 21, 2000 at a local nursing facility, will be held at 2 p.m. today, April 24, at the First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Phil Edwards officiating. Interment will follow at the Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery. VELMA FAYE 'MERCY' HARRELSON
Mrs. Velma Faye "Mercy" Harrelson, 76, of Lynn Haven, passed away Friday, April 21, 2000 at a local hospital. Mrs. Harrelson had been a resident of Bay County since 1960 after coming here from Andalusia, Ala. She was of the Baptist faith, was a bartender for the Friendly Tavern, and was a seamstress. Mrs. Harrelson is survived by three daughters: Sandra Ford and her companion Don Allred of Panama City, Linda Suggs and husband Buford of Lynn Haven, and Judy Lankford of Georgia; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ollie Mae Stokes of Gant, Ala., and Cassie Gibson of Panama City. Mrs. Harrelson was preceded in death by her parents, Harmon and Annie Mott and her husband, Jimmie Harrelson; granddaughter, Roxanne Lankford; and brother, L.D. Mott. Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. J.W. Hunt officiating. Interment will follow at the Forest Lawn Cemetery. Asked to serve as active pallbearers are Mrs. Harrelson's friends and family. The family will receive friends at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. today, April 24. The family will be at the home of Linda and Buford Suggs, 1210 Illinois Ave., Lynn Haven, Fla.

Lewis, 77, of 12330 4th St., in Fountain, who passed away Friday, April 21, 2000 at her home, will be held at 10 a.m. today, April 24, at the Fountain First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Kenneth Hottinger officiating. Interment will follow at the Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Lewis' grandsons will serve as active pallbearers. CLARENCE R. PATTERSON
Clarence Robert Patterson, 94, of DeFuniak Springs, Fla., died Saturday, April 22, 2000 at his residence. Born on Feb. 12, 1906 in Rising Star, Texas , he was the son of the late Ed and Frances Gentry Patterson. He was a Jehovah's Witness by faith and was a member of the DeFuniak Springs Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall. Mr. Patterson moved to DeFuniak Springs in 1959 to further his ministry with the Jehovah's Witnesses. He was preceded in death by five brothers: Alfred, Leonard, Julius, Odis and Adolph Patterson; and sister, Etta Patterson. Mr. Patterson is survived by his wife, Anabell Courtney Patterson of Panama City; step-son, Dr. Alto Straughn of Gainesville; daughter, Billie Louise Carrbello and her husband Peter R. Carrbello of DeFuniak Springs; four stepdaughters: Ann Marshall of Lynn Haven, Lois Galloway of Panama City, Carol Boland of DeFuniak Springs and Mavis Allen of Panama City; brother, Perry Patterson of Idaho; two sisters, Ema Patterson of Denver, Colo., and Lela Patterson; 12 step-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Patterson will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26, in the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah's Witness with Brother David Starner officiating. Burial will follow in Cluster Springs Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today, April 24, in the Clary-Godwin Funeral Home Chapel, 230 Park Ave., DeFuniak Springs, Fla.
