WILLIAM HUGH GLAZE
William Hugh (Billy) Glaze, 65, of El Paso, Texas , died Wednesday, April 26, 2000, at Providence Memorial Hospital in El Paso. He was a former resident of Panama City, having graduated with the Bay High School Class of 1952. He was the son of the late Willie Paul and Myrtice Glaze. He is survived by his wife Kim of El Paso; brother, Al Glaze; uncle, Herschel Joyner; aunts, Nadine Stephens and Janice Mixon, all of Panama City; and aunt, Mrs. Johnnie Thompson of Ocala. Funeral service for Mr. Glaze was conducted May 1, at Martin Funeral Home with interment in Fort Bliss military Cemetery, El Paso.

Jason Lee Grubbs, 25, of 203 Sherwood Drive, Dothan, Ala., and 320 Prudence Lane, Panama City Beach, died Sunday, May 7, 2000, in Dothan. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 11, at Crestlawn Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Bolden and the Rev. Robert Grice officiating and Byrd Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday. Flowers are being accepted or memorials may be made to Pleasant Valley Ministries, Thomaston, Ga., or to Save-A-Life, P.O. Box 7154, Dothan, Ala. 36302. Jason was born Aug. 5, 1974, in Dale County and lived the early years of his life in Dothan. He was a 1992 graduate of Bay High School where he lettered in track for four years and football for two years. He was also a 1997 Summa Cum Laud graduate of Troy State University in Troy. He was employed with Chef Paul's in Panama City Beach and T.G.I. Friday's in Dothan. Jason attended Christ Church International of Dothan and Dothan Chrisitan Fellowship and was a member of Mortar Board and several academic honor societies. He was also a counselor at Camp Victory. Survivors include his parents, James and Pat Grubbs of Dothan and Tommy and Brenda Adkins of Panama City Beach; a brother, James R. Grubbs, Panama City Beach; grandparents: Kathleen Grubbs of Pinckard, Bernell Adkins of Dothan, Gladys DeLuna of Daleville, Raymond and Amelia DeLuna of Dothan; numerous family and friends also survive.

Funeral service for Mr. John Lester Hahn, 74, of Panama City Beach, will be conducted on Wednesday, May 10, 2000, at 11 a.m. in Southerland Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Steve Southerland Sr. officiating. Entombment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Full military honors will be accorded. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 5 to 7 p.m.

SHEILA HUDNALL
Mrs. Sheila Hudnall, age 60, of 122 Marin Drive, Panama City, Fla., passed away Saturday, May 6, 2000, at her home. She had been a resident of Bay County for 17 years coming here from Jacksonville, Fla., where she also lived for 13 years. She was employed by Jacksonville University Hospital, Orange Park Hospital, Gulf Coast Hospital and was a retired registered nurse at Bay Medical Center where she worked for 17 years. She also enjoyed gardening and dancing. She was a member of St. Dominics Catholic Church. Mrs. Hudnall is survived by her husband, Fred E. Hudnall Jr. of Panama City; two daughters, Kathryn Rook and husband Wayne of Cocoa Beach, and Patricia Wilder and husband Mark of Pensacola; a grandson, Joshua Rook; and a granddaughter, Kristina Rook, both of Cocoa Beach; seven sisters, Marie Moscatel and husband Tony of Arlington, Mass., Nora Broughton of Waltham, Mass., Catherine Gear and husband Jack of Quincy, Mass., Eileen Pasquarello and husband Teddy of Sudbury, Mass., Wilma Trioli and husband Sal of Malden, Mass., Anna Dugan and husband Dick of Woburn, Mass., and Patty Fuligni and husband Augie of Stoneham, Mass.; a brother, Joe Broughton of Waltham. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2000, at St. Dominic's Catholic Church with Father Pete Zalewski officiating. Asked to serve as active pallbearers are: Tony Diotalevi, James Griffin, Tony Loconto, Joseph Ganakos, Tony DiBella and Fred Engle. The family will receive friends at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral from 6 to 8 p.m. today, May 9, with a Rosary at 7 p.m.

TIMOTHY DAVID LARRIMORE
Mr. Timothy David Larrimore, age 37, of 236 W. Baldwin Road, Panama City, Fla., died Saturday, May 6, 2000, in a local hospital. He was a lifetime resident of Panama City and a member of First Baptist Church of Panama City. He loved to cook, play the piano, playing for special occasions at the church. He also loved cars and enjoyed working on them. Mr. Larrimore is survived by his parents, Herbert and Helen Wilson Larrimore of Panama City; two sisters, Deborah L. West of Sopchoppy, Fla., and Mary A. Larrimore of Panama City; three brothers: John W. Larrimore of Southport, Kevin P. Larrimore and Michael Larrimore, both of Panama City; three nieces; and three nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 10, 2000, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home with the Rev. Bruce Raley officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Asked to serve as active pallbearers: Gary Clark, Luther Pierce, Cecil Edwards, Jack Grayson, Sandy Ware and Charles Mabius. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today, May 9, from 6 to 8 p.m.

RAYMOND C. RIECK
Raymond C. Rieck, age 79 of Lynn Haven, died Sunday, May 7, 2000, at a local nursing facility. Mr. Rieck was a native of Pennsylvania , and had lived here 28 years. He was a retired pipefitter with Atlantic-Richfield and was of the Baptist faith. He lived at Cove Manor for two years before going into a nursing home, and enjoyed walking and working crossword puzzles. Survivors include two sisters, Alice Cross of Lynn Haven and Dorothy Cornwell of Manassas, Va.; several nieces and nephews including Judy Salyer of Lynn Haven and Jennifer Martin and her husband John of Panama City. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 12, at Kent-Forest Lawn Chapel. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, May 11, 2000, from 6 to 8 p.m.

EUGENE SNEAD
Eugene "Gene" Snead, 56, of Panama City Beach, died Saturday, May 6, 2000, in his home. Mr. Snead was a native of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and had resided in Panama City Beach for the past six years. Mr. Snead was past commander of American Legion Post No. 137 in Fairfield, Ala. Survivors included his wife, Mary Lou Snead of Panama City Beach; a daughter, Alesia Snead of Birmingham; a daughter and son-in-law, Kara and Chuck Bishop of Birmingham; a brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Glenda Snead of Birmingham; two grandchildren, Nicholas Snead and Danielle Bishop of Birmingham. Memorial services in Birmingham will be announced at a later date.

EVERETTE LOUISE TAYLOR
Everette Louise Taylor passed away to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, May 7, 2000. Everette was born July 23, 1923, in Humble, Texas . She and her husband Homer raised their children while traveling the country with the U.S. Air Force. Upon retiring, they settled in the Central Texas area, living in the Austin-Pflugerville area since 1968. She was passionate about life and loved her family, friends, church and Avon. She will be missed by many. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Homer Roy Taylor in 1995 and granddaughter, Rebecca Lynn Taylor in 1983. She is survived by her children, Gwenneth Morgan and husband Ron of Pflugerville, Roy Taylor of Austin, Roger Taylor and wife Cynthia of Georgetown, David Taylor and wife Sharon of Pflugerville, Marianne Bauman and husband Reid of Panama City; two sisters, Lila Rae Haertig of Woodsboro, Ilda Ann Glasgow and husband Bob of Pflugerville; one brother, H.E. Durdin and wife Dorothea of Richardson; one aunt, Flora Koenig of Woodsboro; 13 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today, May 9 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, at First Baptist Church of Pflugerville with Dr. Stephen Washburn officiating. Interment will follow in Cook-Walden/Capital Park Cemetery The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Dr. Ted Edwards and staff of Austin, Dr. Brenda Towell and staff of Austin, and especially to the folks at Hospice Austin. MARGARET MARY HARTWELL
Mrs. Margaret Mary Hartwell, age 82, of 24 Harrison Ave., Panama City, died Tuesday, May 9, 2000, at a local hospital. Mrs. Hartwell was a native of Bangor, Maine, moving to Panama City 20 years ago from the Coconut Grove area of Miami. She was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith. Mrs. Hartwell is survived by a son, Richard Hartwell of Melbourne Beach, Fla.; a daughter, Linda Nolan and her husband Paul of Fountain; grandchildren: Amber Dawn Hartwell, John Lee Nolan and Tammie Elizabeth Reynold; great-grandchildren: Jason Reynolds, Kaitlyn Reynolds, Shelby Nolan, Kayla Nolan and Maggie Nolan; and a brother, Willard Gildart of Bangor, Maine. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, May 12 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens with Fr. Marty Bratek officiating. Interment will follow. The family will receive friends at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Thursday, May 11, from 6 to 8 p.m. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 472 Oak Ave., Panama City, FL 32401.
