GARY W. DELCHER
Gary W. Delcher, 49, of Callaway, Fla., passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 1, 2000. He was born in Atlantic City and raised in Margate. After graduating from Holy Spirit High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served for 21 years before retiring in 1991. Gary then attended Florida State University and since graduation has been a teacher at St. Andrews School, Bay County, Fla. He was an avid golfer and fisherman. Gary will be dearly missed by his wife, Linda; his son, Patrick and daughter-in-law, Cynthia; granddaughter, Haley Anne of Pensacola; his parents, James and Gladys of Margate; two brothers, James and wife Mary of Atlantic City and Mark and wife Jennifer of Margate; a sister, Kathryn Band and husband William of Scullville and his grandmother, Kathryn Delcher of Ventnor. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Services will be held Tuesday, June 6, at 11 a.m. in George H. Wimbery Funeral Home, 1707 New Road, Linwood, N.J., where friends may call an hour prior to services. Burial will follow in Calvary Baptist Cemetery, Ocean View, N.J. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the St. Andrews School, 3001 West 15th St., Panama City, FL 32401.

Marcus Clay Edwards, age 4, of Pensacola, died Sunday, May 28, 2000, at his residence following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held today, June 3, at Benboe Funeral Chapel with Edler Melvin Burnett of Obedience In Faith Ministry officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Gardens.

BILLY GREGORY
Mr. Billy Gregory, age 79, Panama City, Fla., died Friday, June 2, 2000, at a local nursing facility. He has been a resident of the area since 1972, coming here from Cincinnati, Ohio. Mr. Gregory served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He was a P.O.W. in Germany for 14 months during World War II and flew combat missions in Korea. He was stationed at Tyndall AFB from 1962-1966 and retired after 30 years of service. Mr. Gregory is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary M. Gregory of Panama City; a daughter, Laurie Bell and her husband Robert of Gainesville; a son, Lawrence Gregory and his wife Melanie of Wetumpka, Ala.; five grandchildren, Jodi Perraud and her husband Russell of Davie, Fla., Kim Clarke and her husband Kevin of Plantation, Fla., Gregory Bell and Robert Bell Jr., both of Gainesville and Seth Gregory of Wetumpka, Ala.; and three great-grandchildren, Rachel Perraud and Sean Perraud, both of Davie, Fla., and Katherine Clarke of Plantation, Fla. Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Sunday, June 4, at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with military honors. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, June 4, from 3 to 4 p.m., an hour prior to service time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 472 Oak Ave., Panama City, FL 32401 or a charity of your choice.

RAY ALLEN KENDALL
Mr. Ray Allen Kendall, 46, of 6021 E. Hwy. 98, apt. No. 3, Parker, died peacefully in his sleep, May 26, 2000. He had resided in the Bay County area since 1979 after moving here from New Mexico. Prior to his disability, he had been employed as an engineer on a crew boat and as a long-line fisherman. He had a passion for the water and sea life that was undying. He 1oved to "stick his face in the water" and hunt for shells. His shell collection is a tribute to his love of nature and the outdoors. He will be sorely missed by all who truly knew and loved him. Ray was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Ann Engman, in 1999 and by his older brother Albert F. Kendall, in 1969. Ray is survived by his fiancee, Mary Elizabeth (Liz) Kelley, a woman truly devoted and committed to his life, and by his younger brother, William D. Kendall (a.k.a. Doug Engman), sister-in-law, Debra, and their son, "Kendall". Other survivors include a halfsister, Harriet Jeannette and her sons, Shawn and Sammy; and grandmother, Elizabeth McClure. His most significant family and friends included all of Liz's family members. There was Liz's mother, Cleatha Kelley and Liz's sister, Regina Marie Dykes, who preceded him in death. Survivors include: Liz's father, Noah H. Kelley; and sisters, Jo Ann and husband Jerry Grantham, Karen Sue Whetstine and husband Terry, Myrtle and Ronnie Cramer, Terri Kelley and fiancee Archie, Judie Fay and David Griffin, Ann Lois and Tony Haley; Liz's brothers, Stanley Kelley and wife Reba, and Travis Kelley and Marty, and Liz's son, Thomas Bishop Sloan and fiancee, Fenix. A private memorial will be held in his honor pending the arrival of all involved family members.

VIRGINIA O'NEILL McKENZIE
Virginia O'Neill McKenzie, 82, of 1510 Wildridge Road, Lynn Haven, died Thursday evening in a local hospital following a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew McKenzie, in 1996. Mrs. McKenzie was born in Baden, N.C., but grew up in Marianna. She was a charter member of Grace Baptist Church. She also served as financial secretary for the First United Methodist Church for 20 years. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Gay Sims and her husband, Lt. Col. (Ret) Charles Sims, and Gigi Zimmerman and her husband, Nevin Zimmerman; a son, Andy McKenzie and his wife, Pam; six grandchildren, Neil McKenzie, Amber McKenzie, Jill Zimmerman, Jan Zimmerman and Jenna Zimmerman; a brother, W.T. O'Neill, of McDonough, Ga.; four sisters, Polly Forsberg, of Spokane, Wash., Elizabeth Coggin and Louise Porcelli, both of Panama City and Dee Whitehead of Marianna; two brothers-in-law, Paul McKenzie and Lt. Col. (Ret) Bob McKenzie, both of Panama City. Funeral services will be held today at 11 a.m. in Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Curtis and the Rev. David Jones presiding. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Wade Armstrong, Christian Werle, Bob Davis, Bill Childs, Bennett Sawyer and Grayson Dawkins. Those desiring to may make a contribution to Grace Baptist Church in memory of Virginia McKenzie.

TONY MEDINA MILLER
Mr. Tony Medina Miller, 40, of 1716 W. 16th St., died Sunday, May 28, 2000, in National Health Care Center. He was a lifelong native of Panama City. He was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Nelson Miller; his mother, Leathia Christian and his grandmother, Carrie Austin. He is survived by his children, Toreka and Tony Miller Jr. of Canton, Ohio; brother, Terry Miller of Panama City; grandchildren, Michael Seymour, Jordan Miller and Tyvarious Miller; devoted cousins, Mary Amos and Shirley (Albert) Areana of Tampa, Mabelean Raymond of Panama City; and uncle, John (Marvella) Raymond of Louisville, Ky. Funeral services for Mr. Tony Miller will be held Sunday, June 4, at 2 p.m., in Battle Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Lonnie Mitchell, officiating. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery. Public visitation for viewing will begin at the funeral home from 1 to 8 p.m. this afternoon.

Superintendent Willie James Moore, 62, of 1403 Louisiana Ave., died Monday, May 29, 2000, at his home. Funeral services for Superintendent Moore will be held today, June 3, at 1 p.m. in Holy Temple Church of God Church in Christ with Elder W.C. Green, Pastor, Bishop C.D. Kinsey, Prelate, and Superintendent John Lee, officiating. Interment will follow in Lynn Haven Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home of Mrs. Gladys Moore, 1403 Louisiana Ave., Lynn Haven.

Mrs. Del Parker, age 61, of 129 Anita Drive, Callaway, Fla., died Friday, June 2, 2000, at her home. She has been a resident of the area for 42 years, coming here from Chipley. Mrs. Parker loved to work in her yard and her flower garden. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Stanley H. Parker, of Callaway; a daughter, Skyla Parker of Callaway; sons, Eddie Parker and his wife Brenda of Bayou George, Walter Parker and Dan Parker, both of Callaway; three grandchildren, David Parker, James Parker and Kristina Parker; sisters, Tuggie Bush of Century, Fla., Lounette Howard of Callaway and Agnes Baxter of Chipley; and a brother, Charles B. Kent of Chipley. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nix and Jessie Kent. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, June 4, at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Bob Lee officiating. Interment will follow in White Pond Cemetery in Alford, Fla. Asked to serve as active pallbearers are Don Bush, David Baxter, Terry Howard, Danny Lee, Joey Kent and Wayne Lee. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today, June 3, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Henry Lee (H.L.) Price Jr., age 86, of 6613 Hickory Road, Panama City, died May 31, 2000, at Gulf Coast Convalescent Center. He is survived by his wife, Lovie Mae Reterford Price of Panama City; sons, Lloyd and wife Cindy Price of Havanna and the Rev. Don and wife Dorothy Price of Marianna; daughters, Lanell and husband Russ Barnes of Panama City and Lavern and husband Norman Daugherty of Panama City; 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held today, June 3, at 10 a.m., in New Smyrna Assembly of God Church, of Bonifay with the Rev. J.W. Hunt and the Rev. Mike White, officiating. Burial will follow at New Smyrna Church Cemetery. Pallbearers are Russell Harris, Albert Lewis, Lavell Pitts, Donald Price, Millard Retherford and Roy Strickland.

MARY ANN LEGALLEE
Miss Mary Ann LeGallee, 76, of Indian Pass Beach, Fla., for 16 years after she retired coming from Fort Walton Beach, Fla., passed away Saturday, June 3, 2000, at a local hospital. Miss LeGallee was a 1936 graduate of St. Andrews Elementary, 1940 graduate of Bay High School, 1942 graduate of South Georgia College, and 1948 graduate of the University of Miami. She was the manager of the Fort Walton Beach Office of Unemployment Compensation. She retired from the U.S. Navy as a Chief Petty Officer during World War II, and was Roman Catholic by faith. Miss LeGallee is survived by a sister, Martha L. Crosson of Panama City, Fla.; two nieces: Martha C. Lee of Montgomery, Ala., and Elizabeth Y. Crosson of Thomasville, Ga.: two nephews, William E. Crosson of Panama City, Fla., and Kenneth D. Crosson of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; special nieces and a nephew, Carol, Claire and Wayne Thomas Jr. Funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 5 at St. John Catholic Church with Father Marty Bratek, C.R., and Father Roger Latosynski and Father Thom Crandall officiating. Interment will follow at the Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 7 to 8 p.m. today, June 4, with a rosary at 7 p.m.
