Thomas Broward Chatwood of Marianna, 60, died Monday, Sept. 23, 2002, at Jackson Hospital. The funeral will be held today, Thursday, Sept. 26, at 2 p.m. at Damascus Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memory Gardens with Lord Funeral Home of Marianna directing.

Marie Wilson Croft of Bascom, 84, died Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2002, at Jackson Hospital. The funeral will be held Friday, Sept. 27, at 2 p.m. at Lord Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Ward officiating. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

James Hollis Deason, 74, of 19974 SW Sherry Ave., Blountstown, died Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2002, at his home. The funeral will be held Friday, Sept. 27, 2002, at 10 a.m. CDT at the Peavy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Odum officiating. Burial will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery near Grand Ridge. The family will receive friends today, Thursday, Sept. 26, from 4 to 6 p.m. CDT at the funeral home. The family will accept flowers but anyone wishing may make contributions to Covenant Hospice, 4349 Lafayette St., Bldg. 2, Marianna, Fla. 32446. The family also requests all visitation be held at the funeral home today, Sept. 26, and Friday morning before service time.

Eunice Toole of Bonifay, 84, died Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2002, in Chipley. The funeral will be held Saturday, Sept. 28, at 10 a.m. the Chapel of Brown Funeral Home in Chipley with the Rev. Tim Owen officiating. Burial will follow in the Springhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, Sept. 27, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Lucille Smith of Marianna died Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2002, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Lord Funeral Home of Marianna.

Lenora R. Singletary, 78, of Sneads, died Wednesday, Oct 5, 2005, in Marianna.

She was born in DeFuniak Springs and had lived in this area since 1992. She was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Singletary; parents, Daniel and Abbie Lee Renfroe; brother, Clarence Renfroe; and sister, Erlene Wilson.

Survivors include her daughter, Gwen Hall and husband Obie of Sneads; son, Butch Edwards and wife Tammy of Sneads; sisters, Eva Howard of Dothan, Ala., and Elsie Lambert of Havana; three grandchildren, one great-grandson, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 4 p.m., today, Friday, Oct. 7, at Lanier-Andler Funeral Home Chapel in Sneads. Burial will follow in Pope Cemetery in Sneads. The family will receive friends two hours before the service, at Lanier-Andler Funeral Home Chapel.

Ann Louise Kilpatrick Watts, 45, of Sneads, died Thursday, Oct. 6, 2005, at her residence.

She was a native and life long resident of Sneads, and was a member of Sneads Methodist Church. She retired as a health information manager with Florida State Hospital in Chattahoochee. She was devoted to her family, especially her husband Larry and daughter Harley. She was an avid Harley-Davidson enthusiast. She will be best remembered for her bright, beautiful smile. In life as well as in death, she embodied a warm, caring concern for all who surrounded her.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Watts of Sneads; daughter, Harley Danielle Watts of Sneads; step-daughter, Nicole Ostrowski and husband Steve of Chipley; brothers, Ken Kilpatrick and wife Trish of Chattahoochee, and Ed Kilpatrick and wife Kathi of Sneads; sisters, Lynn K. Hart and husband Mark of Mayo, and Bobbi K. McKinnie and husband Greg of Sneads; grandson, Magnus Ostrowski of Chipley; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 8, at Sneads First Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Pope Cemetery in Sneads.

The family will receive friends today, Friday, Oct. 7, from 6-8 p.m., at the Lanier-Andler Funeral Home Chapel in Sneads. Memorials may be made to the Sneads High School Foundation, 8066 Old Spanish Trail, Sneads, Fla., 32460.

Alfred Amison, 97, of Alford died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2005, in Parthenon Healthcare in Blountstown.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., today, Friday, Oct. 7, 2005, at Maddox Chapel. Burial will follow in Sapp Church Cemetery, with James and Sikes Funeral Home directing.

Willard MacAuthor Peacock, 62, of Marianna, died Monday, Oct. 3, 2005, after an extended illness.

He was born in Marianna on March 17, 1943 to Pearl and Joe Peacock and was a life long resident of Jackson County. He was of the Baptist faith and his favorite pastime was playing checkers. He also enjoyed growing flowers and plants and listening to country music.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving sister, Nila Stephens of Marianna; two very special friends, Otis Harrison of Marianna and Willard Pumphery of Sink Creek. His loving nieces and nephews are, Dianne Barber, Dale Porter, Linda Davis, Shirley Mae Stephens, all of Marianna; Preston, Larry, Jerry, and Terry Stephens, Mark, Joey, Jason, and Michael Peacock of Cypress.

His family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m., today, Sunday, Oct. 9, at the Markham Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Oct. 10, in the Markham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jack Howell officiating. Burial will follow in the Marvin Chapel Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.

Markham Funeral Home of Marianna is in charge of arrangements.

Leonard Alvin Coile Jr., 64, of Grand Ridge, died Thursday, Oct. 6, 2005 in Sneads.

He was a native of Kannappolis, N.C., a carpenter and of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Marie Coile; his parents, Leonard Alvin Coile Sr., and Mary Maude Coile; sister, Glenda Coile; daughter, Patricia Marie Coile; and granddaughters, Kristina Coburn, Tiffany Coile and Kayla Christensen.

Survivors include his daughter Katherine Mary Bogart and husband Dan of Casper, Wyo.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, Oct. 12, from 6-8 p.m., at James and Sikes Maddox Chapel in Mariana. Private Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery with James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
