Funeral services for Mr. Allen Nelson, age 51, of 17729 Center Drive, Fountain, Fla., who died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2000, will be held at 10 a.m. today, Nov. 4, 2000, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Brogdon officiating. Interment will follow at Double Pond Cemetery in Wausau. The family will be staying at the home of Mr. Nelson's sister, Nora Griffin, 103 N. Larry Drive, Callaway, Fla.

JANICE FAYE HARRIS
Mrs. Janice Faye Harris, 41, of 507 College Ave., Panama City, passed away Friday, Nov. 3, 2000, at her home. Mrs. Harris has been a lifelong resident of Bay County, loved to collect wind chimes and angels, was a NASCAR fan, and a member of the North Sherman Avenue Community Church. Mrs. Harris is survived by her husband, Roy W. Harris of Panama City; one daughter, Cheraki D. Banks and husband Derrick of Panama City; two sons, Timothy M. Marsh of Panama City, and Eric M. Marsh and wife Leann of Mayo; her mother, Mary Lou Grice of Panama City; five sisters, Cricket Sizemore, Catherine Bryant and husband Rossie, Roberta Walker and husband Gary, Sue Grice and Effie Jones, all of Panama City; four brothers, Roy McQuagge and wife Mary, Merritt Grice and wife Janice, Junior Grice and wife Vera, and James Grice all of Panama City; six grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her father Miles J. Grice, Sr.; and a brother, Leroy McQuagge. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Nov. 6, 2000, at the North Sherman Avenue Community Church with the Rev. Johnny Cromer and the Rev. Jerry Adcock officiating. Interment will follow at the Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Asked to serve as active pallbearers are Raymond Maulden, Joe Wetherington, Bill Rhodes, James Rhodes. Honorary pallbearers will be Ed Cromer, Jessie Curls, Henry Bozeman, Elton Hall, and Cam Sylvester. The family will receive friends at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. today, Nov. 5, 2000.

LYNDALE KATHERINE KOB
Lyndale Katherine Kob, 38, of 801 Kay Lane, Lynn Haven, died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2000, as a result of an accident. She was a staff sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps retiring in 1991 after 12 years of service. She was currently attending Gulf Coast Community College and Florida State University earning a communications degree. She had been a resident of Lynn Haven for the past four years moving here from Hawaii. She is survived by her husband, Dennis Kob; two sons, Christopher Kob and John Kob, all of Lynn Haven; father, Dale Longwith and his wife, Lottie of Kingman, Ariz.; mother, Marilyn Tull and her husband, Stan, of Coos Bay, Ore.; brother, Thomas Longwith of Palmdale, Calif.; and a sister Tamara Longwith, of Mission Hills, Calif. Memorial services for anyone wishing to attend will be held Monday at 3:30 p.m. in the family's home in Lynn Haven with the Rev. Bruce Raley officiating. Those desiring to may make a contribution to a trust fund established for her sons, at Peoples First Community Bank, account No. 3228350 in memory of Lyndale Katherine Kob.

LONNIE W. McDANIEL
Retired U.S. Navy Lt. Lonnie W. McDaniel, 72, of Wewahitchka, passed away Friday, Nov. 3, 2000, at his home following an extended illness. Much of his life was spent in the military, with 22 years active duty and eight years in the reserve. Following his military retirement in 1969, he was an engineer in heavy construction until Nov. 1982. Survivors include his wife, Debbie of Wewahitchka; three children, David McDaniel and wife Denise of Orville, Ala., Kelley McDaniel of Selma, Ala., Shawn McDaniel and wife Angie of Enterprise, Ala.; two grandchildren, Jason McDaniel and wife Tracey of Foley, Ala., and Danielle Welch of Selma, Ala.; one great-granddaughter, Danielle of Foley, Ala.; one special aunt, Bessie Smith of Wewahitchka; and two special friends, Irene Rushing and Mary Horton, both of Wewahitchka. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Central Standard Time, Sunday, Nov. 5, 2000, at Roberts Cemetery, with the Rev. Gus Howerton officiating. Interment will follow.

WINFRED ALVIN RAMSEY
Winfred Alvin Ramsey, 76, of Wewahitchka, went to be with the Lord, Friday, Nov. 3, 2000. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Eunice Merchant Ramsey. He was a retired U.S. Air Force master sergeant and retired from the National Security Agency and worked for Commander Real Estate in Panama City. He was also a past master of Tupelo Lodge No. 289 and a member of Wewahitchka's Chapter 2290 OES. He is survived by his children, Annette Shaw of San Antonio, Texas, and Dennis Lowe, of Wewahitchka; his sisters, Peggy Pendergrass of Inverness, and Patricia Claywell of Tampa; a brother, Sam Ramsey of Chattanooga, Tenn. He was a member of the Worship Center in Wewahitchka. A memorial service will be held at The Worship Center with the Rev. Glen Miller officiating, Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2000, at 1 p.m. There will be a graveside service at the Jehu Cemetery immediately following the memorial service.

EDWARD 'MICHAEL' GAINNIE
Mr. Edward "Michael" Gainnie, 50, of Port St. Joe Beach, passed away Thursday, Nov. 2, 2000, in a Seattle, Wash. hospital after an extended illness. Mr. Gainnie was born Sept. 30, 1950 in Bonifay. He lived in Dothan, Ala., for about 15 years and retired to the Port St. Joe Beach area a few years ago. Mr. Gainnie retired from the Oakley Transport Co., as an over the road truck driver. He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. His mother Julia Mozelle Gainnie preceded Mr. Gainnie in death. He is survived by his wife, Sandy L. Gainnie of Port St. Joe Beach; father, George W. Gainnie of Port St. Joe; two brothers, George Howard Gainnie and wife Louise, and Jim Gainnie and wife Bunnie, all of Port St. Joe; father and mother-in-law, Joe and Cathy Speakman of Birmingham, Ala.; brother-in-law, Jamie Speakman; sister-in-law, Marcie Speakman, both of Birmingham; five nephews: Mickey Gainnie of Wewahitchka, Griff Gainnie, Jason Gainnie, Scott Burkett and Craig Burkett, all of Port St. Joe; two great-nephews, Chipper Gainnie of Wewahitchka and Adison Lee Burkett of Port St. Joe; and many extended family and friends. The funeral services for Mr. Gainnie will be 11 a.m. EST on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2000, in the Oak Grove Assembly of God Church with the Rev. David A. Fernandez and the Rev. James E. Wiley officiating. Internment will follow in Holly Hills Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the funeral home today, Nov. 6, 2000, from 5 to 7 p.m. EST. Pallbearers are Scott and Craig Burkett, Griff, Mickey and Jason Gainnie and Jamie Speakman. Honorary pallbearers are the Port St. Joe High School class of 1969. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Make A Wish Foundation or the Disabled Veterans Administration in memory of Mr. Edward Michael Gainnie.

SAMUEL O. 'BUD' GRIFFIN
Samuel O. "Bud" Griffin, 76, of 138 Marlin Circle in Panama City Beach, died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2000, in his home. He was a train master for Seaboard Coastline Railroad and retired in 1986 after 42 years of service. He had been a resident of Jacksonville since 1950 before moving to Panama City Beach nine years ago. He had been a member of the Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite in Jacksonville for 49 years and the Moroccan Shrine Temple for 45 years. He was also a member of the Woodlawn United Methodist Church and the Bay Point Golf Club. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Cherry Griffin of Panama City Beach; son, William D. Griffin and wife Carla of Sarasota, Fla.; two daughters, Frances Ivy and Jean Rouse and her husband Curtis, all of Panama City Beach; six grandchildren: Keily Salser, John-Ford Griffin, Fondren Griffin, Ryan Ivy, Julie Ivy and Cody Griffin; brother, Jack Griffin; three sisters: Mary Ansley, Tootsie Hunter and Frances Burnside. The memorial services will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. in the Woodlawn United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ron Ball officiating. Those desiring to may make a contribution to the Woodlawn United Methodist Church or to Hospice of Northwest Florida in memory of Bud Griffin.

RUTH ROBBINS MADDOX
Mrs. Ruth Robbins Maddox, who was born in Parker on Feb. 9, 1926, passed away Saturday Nov. 4, 2000 after an extended illness. She loved quilting, fishing and studying the Bible, and she was a member of the North Sherman Avenue Community Church. Many friends and family loved her. She'll be greatly missed by all who knew her because of the great love she had for people. She touched the lives of many. Mrs. Maddox is survived by two sons, Benny Harvard and wife Pat of Niceville, and Lester L. Maddox and wife Nancy of Parker; a daughter, Aspen Ann Arnold of Callaway; seven grandchildern: John Harvard, Janel Wright, and Benny Harvard Jr., all of Niceville, Jason Peel of Southport, Crystal L. Maddox, Tyler L.W. Maddox and Thomas A. Maddox, all of Parker; five great-grandchildren: Hope Wright, Ragin Wright, Tyler Harvard, Ashley Harvard, all of Niceville, and Ida Peel of Southport; three sisters: Marvelle Gore, Pearl Wilson, and Betty Norem, all of Parker; one brother, Joseph B. Robbins of Fountain. Mrs. Maddox was preceded in death by a brother Dudley Robinns. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday Nov. 8, 2000 at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Cromer officiating, with interment following at the Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Asked to serve as active pallbearers are: John Harvard, Tyler Maddox, Ben Harvard Jr., Jason Peel, Jamie Brannon, and the honorary pallbearer will be Thomas Maddox. The family will receive friends at the Kent-Forest Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday Nov. 7, 2000.
