Funeral services for Mr. David J. Lock, 69, of Fountain, Fla., who passed away Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2001, will be held at 10 a.m. today, Sept. 29, 2001, at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ronny Rowan officiating. Interment will follow at Fountain Cemetery.

MARION JAMES YARBOR
Mr. Marion James Yarbor, 94, of 5122 East Cherry St., Panama City, Fla., passed away Thursday evening, Sept. 27, 2001, in a local nursing home. Born in Vernon, Fla., he was a lifelong resident of this area. He retired as a shift foreman from International Paper Company after 30 years of service and was a member of the Springfield Methodist Church. He was a member of the Parker Masonic Lodge No. 142 and the Panama City Senior Citizens Club having served as vice president. One daughter, Mary Sue Romano, precedes him in death. Mr. Yarbor is survived by his wife, Delora Johnson Yarbor; one son, James D. Yarbor and wife, Lois; two daughters, Sue Rockhill and husband, Milton, all of Panama City, Fla., and Carol Whitehead and husband, Bob of Seattle, Wash.; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2001, at 3 p.m. in the Southerland Family Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Mr. Yarbor's grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

THEODORE HUGH ANDERSON
Theodore (Ted) H. Anderson, was born April 5, 1920 in Millville, Fla., and was the youngest of eight children of Lewis S. Anderson and Jane M. Holmes. Ted married Alice Juanita Kinney on July 29, 1946 in Mobile, Ala. They were the proud parents of two daughters, Carolyn L. Gomillion of Humble, Texas, and Betty J. Husak of Panama City, Fla. Ted is survived by his daughters; eight grandchildren (Nola J. Frazier and Jason M. Gomillion of Humble Texas, David L. Gomillion of Provo, Utah, Jennifer A. Morgan of Naples, Fla.; Brett D. Husak, Matthew S. Husak, Cassandra L. Husak, and Tanner J. Husak, all of Panama City, Fla. Two great-grandchildren (Abey B. Morgan, and Nathan A. Frazier). Ted was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Ted was a graduate of Bay High School and he worked in the commercial fishing industry from an early age. In 1937, at age 17, he joined the Florida National Guard where he served for three years. In 1940, his National Guard post was inducted into the U.S. Army Air Corps and he was assigned as an Airplane Engine Repairman where he served for 11 months. He then enlisted into the United States Air Force just three weeks before the attack on Pearl Harbor as a Flight Engineer assigned to Strategic Air Command (S.A.C.), where he served his country faithfully for over twenty years. He was very proud of the fact the he accumulated almost 5600 hours of flight time while in S.A.C. The Philippine Liberation Medal was listed among his many decorations. After his military career, Ted worked for Continental Motors and then with the State of Florida, Department of Transportation. His greatest joy in his career was the time he spent serving his country. Ted's priorities in life were first to God, next to his family, and then to his country. He enjoyed expressing his freedom through his love of being on the sea and flying through the air. He was an avid gardner and loved nature. He exceeded his civic responsibilities by volunteering as a teacher and exercising his right to vote. He as a devoted husband and loving father. He will be greatly missed by both his family and his country. The family will receive friends at the Southerland Family Funeral home on Monday, Oct. 1, 2001, from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2001 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 6525 Lake Dr. in callaway. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Flowers can be sent to the funeral home or contributions can be made to the Red Cross Relief Fund.

ADELL T. CLARK
Mrs. Adell T. Clark, age 77 of Panama City, passed away Sept. 28, 2001, at a local hospital. She was a native of Greenhead, and had lived in Panama City for the last 60 years. She was a homemaker, and loved spending time with her children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her 10 children, Tommy Clark and wife, Paula of Southport, Mary Woods and husband, Earnest of Alabama, Jesse Clark and wife, Viola of Panama City, Dorothy Callahan and husband, Donald of Panama City, Brenda Henderson of Panama City, Diane Grant of Virginia, Daniel Clark and wife, Jan of Vernon, Lelia Clark of Panama City, Linda Gail Lutz and husband, Wesley of Lebanon, Pa., and Betty Ann Griggs and husband, Jerry of Panama City; a daughter-in-law, Kay Clark of Panama City; a half-sister, Myrtle Paul of Panama City; 36 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel James Clark, Sr, and a son Johnnie Clark. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2001, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Don Hodges officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, Oct. 1, 2001, from 6 to 8 p.m.

MARY WILSON DEAN
Mrs. Mary Wilson Dean, 76, of 7004 Benton Drive, Callaway, died Wed. Sept. 26 in the Bay Medical Center. Funeral services for Mrs. Dean will be held Sunday, Sept. 30 at 2 p.m. in the Neals Temple First Born Church with Bishop S.J. Williams, Pastor and Bishop Lonnie Mitchell, officiating. Interment will follow in the Redwood Cemetery. A family hour will be held in the Battle Memorial Funeral Home Chapel at 6 p.m. with organizations who wish to perform are asked to attend. The remains will lie in state one hour prior to services at the church.

RAY BENJAMIN KEAHEY
Mr.Ray Benjamin Keahey, 82 Panama City Beach, died at his residence on September 28, 2001. Mr.Keahey was born inHouston, Texas and moved to this area in 1924 from Villa Park, Ill. Mr. Keahey was a retired Computer Operator with the Civil Service and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Panama City Beach. Mr. Keahey was also a veteran of WWII in the U.S. Army in the South pacific. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Georgia L.Keahey of Panama City Beach, Fla.; one stepson, Charles S. Baker of Dayton, Ky.; one stepdaughter, Donna Baker of Panama City Beach, Fla.; nieces, Cathy Jackson, Patricia Kraft and Sharon Teel; nephew, Thomas Reaster and one step-grandchild, Logan Baker. Funeral services for Mr.Keahey will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday October 1, 2001, at the First Baptist Church in Panama City Beach,with Dr. Jerry Weaver officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Roswell, Ga. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.Those who wish to, may make donations to Covenant Hospice or the building fund of the First Baptist Church of panama City Beach, in honor of Mr.Keahey.

ORA C. LOVELADY
Ora C. Lovelady, age 81, of Panama City, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2001, at the home of her daughter in Atlanta after a battle with cancer. She is survived by three daughters, Delene and husband, Robert Ray of Birmingham, Ala., Diane and husband, Lanier Buice of Atlanta, and Anita and husband, Daniel Dellana of Atlanta; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is survived by one sister, Alene Nolan and husband, John of Panama City Beach. She was a member of Christian Church on State Highway 390 in St. Andrews and past Worthy Matron of Miracle Chapter 306 Order of Eastern Star. She worked for 18 years and seven months with the Bay County Council on Aging and Senior Companion and Foster Grandparents program. Viewing will be today, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Valhallan Funeral Home, 839 Wilken Road, Birmingham, Ala. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Oct. 1, 2001, at the Valhallan Funeral Home (205-428-5331).

MARY WILSON DEAN
Mrs. Mary Wilson Dean, 76, of 7004 Benton Drive, Callaway, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, in Bay Medical Center. She was a native of Georgetown, Ga., but had been a longtime resident of Bay County. She had a call in her life to give her heart to Christ, she answered, and joined the Neals Temple First Born Church where she worked faithfully for many years. She later moved her membership to Triumph The Church of the Kingdom of God in Christ where she remained a faithful member until her demise. In her community service, she helped anyone in need and many befefited from her generous heart and great gift of giving. Mother Dean was a member of T.W. Morrison Chapter of the Eastern Star for over 20 years and served with the Ladies Aide Society, Christian Band of Benevolence and the Heroines of Jericho. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, the late Arthur Dean; one daughter; and two grandsons. She is survived by her children, Jimmie Woodson (Shirley), Atlanta, Ga.; Anthony Dean, Madie McKenney (Wilbert), Panama City, Fla.; grandchildren, Ryan Woodson, Avil Copeland (James), Atlanta, Ga.; Michael Wilson (Trina), Camp Casey, Korea, Cortney Qualls, Maria Wilson, Whitney Durant, Faith Morgan, Charles Dean, Jr.; Panama City, Fla.; five great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Iman, Daniette, Hennessey and Cameron; one brother, Lawrence Rice, El Paso, Texas; two sisters, Ethel Radford, Christine Norton, Chicago, Ill.; one sister-in-law, Maudie Jackson, two cousins; Lillian Speights (Namon) and Minnie Johnson (Wesley) and numerous other cousins and relatives that are saddened with the homegoing of Mary Wilson Dean. Funeral services for Mrs. Dean will be held Sunday, Sept. 30, at 2 p.m. in the Neals Temple First Born Church with Bishop S.J. Williams, pastor and Bishop Lonnie Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in the Redwood Cemetery. Public visitation will began this afternoon at the funeral home at 1 p.m. A family hour will be held in the Battle Memorial Funeral Home Chapel at 6 p.m. with organizations that wish to perform asked to attend. The remains will lie in state one hour prior to services at the church.
