JOHN A. KOVAR, 73, of Seffner died Friday at South Florida Baptist Hospital. A native of New York, N.Y., he moved to the Tampa area in 1988. He was a member of Knights of Columbus, the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He is survived by his son, Joseph W. of Beth Page, N.Y.; two daughters, Joanne T. Augello of Seffner and Louise H. Flor of Uniondale, N.Y.; a brother, Frank J. Kovar of Spring Hill; three sisters, Josephine Corraro of Canastota, N.Y., and Marie Saniford and Heddy, both of Spring Hill; and six grandchildren. Hillsboro Memorial, Brandon.

MADODARI MADRAY, 79, of Largo died Thursday at Suncoast Hospital. A native of Guyana, South America, she moved to the area from New York City, in 1987. She was a seamstress and member of Church of God. She is survived by her husband, Clarence; four sons, Colbert, Reginald, Raymond and Ashton, all of Largo; seven daughters, Theresa Bissoon and Sandra Narine, both of New York, Majorie David, Merian Mongroo and Margaret Mohamed, all of Largo, and Inez Fred and Veronica Madray, both of Tampa; a brother, Kaiser Rampersaud of New York; two sisters, Eva Kahn of Toronto, and Noisei Chin of Guyana; 27 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. LESLIE R. McGINNIS, 85, of Plant City died Thursday at home under the care of Life Path Hospice. A native of Fisherville, Ky., he moved to Plant City in 1989 from Louisville, Ky. He was a brakeman for Southern Railway, member of Spring Head United Methodist Church in Plant City and a Mason. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; a son, Jon of Temple Terrace; a sister, Mary Yaeger of Shelbyville, Ky.; and a grandchild. National Cremation Society, Tampa.

OFELIA MORALES, 61, of Tampa died Thursday at University Community Hospital. A native of Cuba, she moved to the area from New Jersey a year ago. She was a homemaker and Catholic. She is survived by her husband, Roberto; a son, Robert of Tampa; a daughter, Ofelia Ruiz of South Plainfield, N.J.; a sister, Teresita Gonzales of Linden, N.J.; and five grandchildren. GLADYS " ROBBIE'' ROBBINS, 66, of Tampa died Wednesday at University Community Hospital, Carrollwood. A native of Miami, she moved to the Tampa area in 1954. She was a retired nurse and member of Peninsular Christian Church, Tampa. She is survived by three daughters, Linda Sutliff and Debra Meagher, both of Tampa, and Melody Johnson of Stuben, Maine; a sister, Betty Jo Ramsey of Conroe, Texas; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. IRA " BUD'' BUFORD RUSSELL, 84, of Plant City died Friday at South Florda Baptist Hospital. A native of Cook County, Neb., he moved to the area from Hollywood in 1942. He was co- owner of Russell & Black Canning Co. and Citrus Products in Plant City, member of First Assembly of God Church, Plant City and a Mason. He is survived by his wife, Margaret; a daughter, Carol Irene Mayfield of Plant City; a stepsister, Bernie Anderson of Plant City; two grandchildren; and two great-children.
