CHARLES F. FROMME, 86, of New Port Richey died Friday at Columbia New Port Richey Hospital. He moved to this area from his native New York City 25 years ago. He was a retired public relations employee of Chemical Bank and Army veteran of World War II. He also was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Holiday and the Polish- American Pulaski Association in Holiday. He is survived by his wife, Mary; two daughters, Janice A. Hrubsa of Port Richey and Joyce Trompeo of Holiday; two sisters, Anna Miller of Pleasantville, N.J., and Edith of Holiday; and four grandchildren. Thomas B. VEO C. KENNEDY, 79, of Dade City died Friday at Columbia Dade City Hospital. A native of Winnfield, La., she moved to this area from Sharon, Pa., 21 years ago. She was a retired registered nurse, World War II veteran of the Army nursing corps and member of the First Presbyterian Church in Zephyrhills. She is survived by a son, Walter of Great Falls, Va.; a daughter, Coe Ellen Kuehn of Enola, Pa.; and four grandchildren. Oakley Funeral Homes, Dade City.

CASMIRA KOPEC, 77, of New Port Richey, formerly of Bayonet Point, died Thursday at the Heather Hills Nursing Home in New Port Richey. A Buffalo native, she moved to this area eight years ago from Tonawanda, N.Y. She was a retired administrative assistant for Columbus McKinnon and member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Hudson. She is survived by a brother, Francis Urbanski of Depew, N.Y.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Bell Funeral Home, Bayonet Point.

MATT LAURISH, 89, of New Port Richey, died Saturday at Southern Pines Nursing Center in New Port Richey. He was a native of Chisholm, Minn., and moved to this area from Valdosta, Ga., in 1994. He was Catholic, an Army veteran of World War II and a retired animal trainer. Survivors include a brother, Edward of Wautoma, Wis.; and two sisters, Frances Porter of Hines, Ore., and Rose Del Conte of New Port Richey. Thomas B. He is survived by his companion, Colleen Sweeney of Holiday; two sons, Patrick and Raymond, both of Holiday; his father, Donald Sr. and his stepmother, Phyllis both of Plainfield, Conn.; two brothers, Donald Jr. and Jeffrey, both of Plainfield, Conn.; and 10 sisters, Julie Ziemieski, Cindy Le Gary, Lorri Szela, Spring Cole, all of Plainfield, Joyce Smith and Heidi Smart, both of Saco, Maine, Donna Culver of Dayville, Conn., Robin Culver of Baltic, Conn., Lillian Rathbun of Canterbury, Conn., and Bonnie McClurg of Shawnee, Ohio. He was a retired salesman for American Machine and Foundry in White Plains, N.Y., an Army veteran of World War II, past master of Tabernacle Lodge, F&AM, and Episcopalian. He is survived by two sons, Luis Jr. of North Miami Beach and Richard of Paramus, N.J.; two daughters, Gladys Maria Abatte of Paramus, N.J., and Nohemi Isabel Leary of Bricktown, N.J.; a sister, Isabel of Inverness; and three grandchildren. He was a retired deputy for the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, Navy veteran of World War II and Korean War, Baptist, Mason, member of Fleet Reserve Association and Fraternal Order of Police Lodge. He is survived by his wife, Eileen M. of Brandon; a daughter, Alana J. McHan of Brandon; two stepsons, Nicholas M. and Leo J. Matassini, both of Tampa; two stepdaughters, Patricia E. Nunez of Brandon and Teresa A. Fernandez of Tampa; three brothers, Martin of Fresno, Calif., Arol of Chiefland and Ronald of Orlando; a sister, Doris Gause of Brooksville; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. He is survived by his wife, Kay; a son, James William III of Palmdale, Calif.; two daughters, Dana Sparrow of Mechanicsville, Va., and Debra Ardinger of Sterling, Va.; a twin brother, Max of Ruskin; three sisters, Louise Fahrney of Winchester, Va., Elba Duncan of Annandale, Va., and Maxine Lee of St. Petersburg; and seven grandchildren.
